Day 113 Flower 51 Remaining 20ish WOW the colas are getting just crazy but the branches are starting to lean too much for my liking so I'll have to deal with that ASAP! Been crazy busy this week so didnt get to chat much with the fam but I'll be back to routine this week. A few of the lower leaves have some color fade which startled me but i'm guessing is ok as were nearing the flush here. one leaf is really messed up that i cut off. in the pic u can see the messed up leaf but also an overhead shot shows where the yellowing is happening. Other then that I think things look great?!?! One cola is just friggin massive, specially for a 80% sativa. About a foot long and damn near pop can size. trying to think of anything I will need to buy for harvest. anything I might have not thought of? i'm gonna get a small mayb 2x2 tent for drying that I'll rig up with many poles running across so that would work. mayb an exhaust fan with carbon filter? or just an oscilating fan at the bottom with the top vents open and call it a day?? EDIT: WOW!!!! Today was the first time I've ever seen the true color. I was there ready right when the main light turns off waiting with the LED sunblaster to see and wow i'm just amazed how green and beautiful these ladies are!! I thought the cmh was off a little but i didnt realize they were so pretty!! You can easily tell which 4 pics are with the sunblaster light

Start of week 5 today, everything seems to be going great! The Gelato OG is by far the biggest plant of the bunch so far but they all seem to be taking well to LST, HST , Topping & defoliation! Will be going in the flower tent as soon as the other ladies harvest so they will probably have atleast 2 to 3 more weeks of veg!

Yum, yum !!! Took some cuts of all three this week and think the gorilla girl is going to be a great candidate for half the garden next grow. Just love the size and smell of the flowers!!

The plants were stretching a bit, pretty much as expected - except for the Sour Strawberry. I don't know if it was due to it getting a bit less light since it was much shorter, but it tripled its size and overtook all of the other plants in height. OK. I guess I could have flipped 2 weeks earlier? Anyway, stretch was almost over, flowers started forming. Some of the plants still looked a bit meh and yellow-ish, but overall the growth during stretch looked healthier than the previous 1-2 weeks.

During this week, I have only occasionally defoliated to get better light on the inflorescences. I don't know when to put it into flower yet, as the smallest bush (Fruit Diesel) is looking quite pitiful, having just turned a month old. Other bushes are a couple weeks ahead of Fruit Diesel. What do you think, should I give it another week of vegetation or should I switch it to flowering at the end of the week?

📆 Week 15, 30 April - 6 May 2024 30 April - Turned light power to 75%. 1 May - Did a significant defoliation. 2-6 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I was debating on keeping the lights at 100%, or defoliating the plant. Defoliating won this time. There just wasnt enough light penetration getting to the lower buds (half the plant) to mature them for maximum growth and quality yield. So leaving the lights that bright did not achieve my expectations. It is a tricky situation when you start taking leaves away from a plant in flower, but when shadows are blocking bud developement you have to balance your grow and open it up. My method is to start with the lowest leaves and work your way up, use common sense, discard yellowing and damaged ones first, leaving the healthy green leaf on the plant. Then strategically remove the few that shadow the buds you want more focus on. This will help ensure the plant continues processing energy while avoiding possible shock by removing too much leaf. 🍶 30 April changed nutrient solution 🍽️ 30 April updated feeding schedule 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient Solution EC 2.2 at 72 degree F 🔆 Light power at 75%, DLI 45-50 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this week. Temp & Humidity still controlled by my Mycodo System. VPD range still set to 0.4 - 0.8 for now. 08.04. Week 2 of Veg begins and the plants really start to grow like crazy. Especially the Strawberry Lemonade and Fullgas seem to be bigger every day! I had a little PH issue on the last watering, but it should not be too worrysome. 10.04. I‘ve noticed some yellow tint starting to form on the newer leaves of the Strawberry Lemonade. For now I will stay on the lookout, but I hope it‘s nothing too dramatic. I also switched the VPD to be around 0.8 - 1.2 which it doesn‘t completely hit for the moment as i do not have a dehumidification option but the additional humidification was stopped. 13.04. Week 2 is nearing it‘s end and things are going great. The discoloration has vanished and the plants are growing steadily. VPD at around 0.7 kPa.
