We are pleased to report another great week has been had by all and there are not any issues to mention. The top dress along with Bokashi was applied and they enjoyed a rain barrel treat mixed with Hygrozyme along with Hyshield once this week. A good spray of NForce helped with the aphids along with the stink bugs that were threatening to take over the gardens and Optic foliar spray was applied once a few days later, so far we are happily growing! We have been watering daily to keep things moist, on the hotter days it has both morning and night. This beauty had a good clean up two days ago, a storm feels like it’s brewing now and she seems to be enjoying the wind!

Alright so i got some guanokalong products to try from my local grow shop, i hope it doesn't screw the plants 🙈 after the last update last week we placed some powders on the soil so lets see how it goes the next weeks! The strain is doing great, lots of short internodes with big long branches, these plants are full of bud sites! I never tried a kosher strain before but i do think that this seed bank has a great genetics here, im thinking to monster crop this girls to continue the legacy 💪👌

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Hi everyone ☺️. Today the New Aeroponic Diary begins, as before with the wonderful variety Gelato from Zamnesia . This time I planned to leave the full 8 cuttings instead of 3 as in the last run. For test purposes I would like to give a very short vegi time this time. To be precise, I would like to switch them to flowering a few days after rooting. Since the growth is extremely extreme on Aero, I think that a few days will be enough to get 8 little trees 😋. Of course everything is documented and uploaded. Today the cuttings were cut, brushed with clone gel and placed in the aero system 😃. Of course, the entire system was cleaned very time-consuming with disinfectant after the last run, and all seals, pumps, etc. were checked for their function, so that the new run could start today 👌👍. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! Good morning, weekly update time! Today is day 41 of flower, the fade has started but the ladies are still bulking up and putting on weight! Prob start checking trichs in ten -14 days or so but like I said weight is stil increasing and white pistils are still dominant. Last week they got their last dose of recharge tea, I’ll probably give them fish shit one more week! I also gave them one last fruit compost tea I made with apple, cucumber, kiwi, and banana peels! Here on out there isn’t much to do and it’s getting boring for me, I liked working with them topping and training etc but now I just check on them once a day. This was a funny journey. It reacts better to scrog than LST, lst one only yielded (wet) 159g while the one with scrog yielded (wet) 346g. Unfortunately I got mold on the top bud of the lst plant, high humidity is very dangerous to this strain (atleast for me was). After drying for 1week and curing it for other week I decided to try it out and I got pretty happy with it. First grow and the buds taste very fruity and sweet, from 0-10 the ash is probably an 8. I am excited to try the other one out since it received much more light (it has 17colas). Loved to grow this ones, highly recommend this strain for beginners. I'll update the outcome whenever they dry. Thank you everyone for supporting me on my first grow. 87g dried, not bad for 105W (tgl star 100), taste is pretty good and It gives an uplifting buzz.
