Giving Alien Vs Triangle a second try after my first started showing signs of herming (bananas). Planted the seed directly in soil and she sprouted in 5 days. I'm not going to do HST bending as I did with the first one. I know I accidentally went overboard with HST the first time and that most likely caused her to herm out. I want to get her to harvest as quickly as possible so just going to do some light defoliation and a FIM pinch on this girl. The first AVT smelled insanely good when I chopped her, I'm looking forward to bringing this one to a proper harvest. 👍 My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. So I've now harvested both the red poison©️ and the purple lemonade©️, they're drying in my cupboard, ive tried both of these before and never disappointed, the lemonade is definitely my favourite strain of all time and ive got two more growing as i type so feel free to check those out. Only got the BCN critical left now and she should be ready in a week to ten days. Sprayed her 2x with magnesium + aloe vera in the last week & watered only with rainwater.. This one grows really nice. the structure and the growth is just phenomenal. Put some old salad & leafs from defoliation on top of the soil for the worms.

Cytokinins stopped stretch so ima keep lights at current height given havent seen burn or bleaching. One pheno sharp candy getting sweeter n milder, 2nd pheno is similar to my bubba diagonal i grew here. I guess not bad for week 4 in 3 gallon bags but i hope they start filling in?

I was afraid of finding a lot of budrot, luckily it was only the one cola. The buds are very frosty, the bottom at the base of the branch looks a bit brownish on some buds, i inspected it with a microscope and didnt find any mold or weird things. There are a lot of amber trichomes tho. I think that's why it looks brown like that. It smells and smokes good, so i think its fine. If someone thinks otherwise, let me know! End results: Buds: 92 Grams Small Buds: 18 Grams Trim: 16.7 Grams Total weight of the buds: 110 Grams. I calculated that i used a total of 72.3 watts this grow, that makes it 1.52 grams per watt! Very happy with the end results, and its by far my personal record hahaha.

Our Test #4 have just been revealed to the public with the name of Slurricane, a genetics with a full Californian style. Our Slurricane have germinated at the speed of light, I put one first that you see big now that it will be worked with the topping x16 buds and another small one just germinated, freed from the placenta and beautiful as ever. Let's learn to solve placenta problems, if the plant remains too long in the condition you see in the photo it dies or gets permanently damaged it is essential to recognize this problem just in time and solve it with the utmost delicacy. Just remove it being careful not to remove the plant from the soil by stretching it delicately and/or helping yourself with something precise to remove it from the cotyledons and let the leaves open as you can see in the following photos. When the seed remains attached it is nice to take photos and reels, very cute but do it quickly and remove the placenta with the utmost delicacy you can in short. It always happens so learn to do it it is not an enthetic defect I recommend not to confuse things, it happens in percentage to the plants that you do to me at 2/4 out of 20/25 seeds more or less. We do not let them die it is a small skill to have though. I am very impressed by humboldt seed companys sour diesel. She is easy to grow and tight internode spacing. The Gelato by Barney´s Farm is growing slow. The temperatures fluctuate moderately and the humidity is rather on the lower side around 40 percent.

She's grown significantly, with many branches stretching upwards. Given how many there were, I decided to trim her and removed about 10 thick and thin branches. I’m not sure how this will affect her, but I'm hoping to get fewer colas, though thicker and denser ones. We don’t waste anything from the pruning. The leaves that we cut off are frozen, then crushed in a blender. We mix the resulting mass with water, let it sit, and then water the plant with this solution. Additionally, we finely chop the leaves and mix them into the top layer of the soil, a practice called mulching. This way, we recycle everything and make full use of the plant material.

She receive the final part this week and nest week she will be flushed and harvested
