Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She has a fairly wide node spacing, which is nice as it makes her easier to manage than a bushy plant with tight node spacing. 7/12- Our summer weather continues to be hot, although we do get a break from the heat when we're lucky enough to get some rain which also helps mitigate the daily watering. 7/14- The Papaya Sherbet photoperiod from FastBuds is definitely going through a growth spurt and is gaining inches by the day now! Yesterday it rained the better part of the day, which provided over an inch of rain. Today,I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photo approx. 3g of well water from the garden hose. 7/16- Well the weather and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo are both on fire! Hopefully the weather will cool down soon, and the Papaya Sherbet photo will continue to impress!🤩 There's another week of veg for this beauty and I can't wait to see how big this lady gets! Another week gone by already, I’m a little late getting this up this week as I was busy harvesting my other tent. Turned my air conditioner off this week because I’m pretty sure it is blowing on my one plant too much and causing some issues. Also don’t need it anymore since summer is over and temps are stable again without it. I also was forced to turn my light down again to 600w as my buds were showing signs of too much light, they have been in 600w now for a couple days and they are starting to show normal bud development again. We are into the 6th week now and gonna push them 9 prob I’m thinking, still lots of time for these girls to fatten up. That’s it till next week, Cheers💨

Auto Maxi Gom is doing really well. I started adding the master bloom from Xpert Nutrients to the diet a few days ago. I did trim up her lower side a little more. She has stretched a few more inches since last update. Her colas are starting to develop, and looks like she will start bulking very soon. Nothing more to report at this time. When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

Day 43_________________________ - Decided to make the 12/12 shift due to my Caramelino growing enough to risk light burn if it doubles in size during flower. I have the light as high as I can safely put it in my tent with fans constantly on above the lights, and still only have 33” of space from the top leaves. - That being said, lots of LST will be used to fan out instead of up. - Flushed out the system completely this time. Before I would drain enough for the water pump to suck in air, but this time I filled with 50 gal of pH’ed water. Then I measured PPM. I stopped when the remainder of the water was 250PPM. Just a little richer than my tap water. Should have been doing this the entire time. Probably wouldn’t have had the nute burn spots that I was getting when I was 1400-1500 after half a week of the plant eating and drinking. Now is sitting just above 1000. I feel the plants will appreciate the break from over-nuting. Day 48______________________________ - plants are all loving the lower PPM numbers and pushing through the trellis net. - Plants are all drinking about 5 gallons every 3 or 4 days. Replenishing with pH’ed water when I notice a significant drop. - Two main shoots are becoming a pain to try to keep at the same level of all the others. LOTS of LST.

I believe we are about to move into the flowering stage. I see a bit of the white hair. I've given them probably their last mixture of grow+CalMag nutrients this week. We'll see how they are looking in the coming weeks and I'll switch to the flowering nutrients next. They are well over 4ft and 3ft tall (excluding the pot) and they look like they will be huge! Looking forward to the next stage.

Good week in the tent 👌 only given ph'd water again. Been a lot warmer so been good for the girls in the then but not so good for some seedlings I had going on my window. Every day now seeing more growth the original Russian is the furthest along. Kind of surprised about this because i was expecting #Quick one to be the fastest out of the lot. Not the case for me here at the minute. Excited for the next few weeks to see what different strains start looking like smelling like all that jazz! Hoping for a couple of oz all together. A few different flavours not expecting any monster yield here. Took a pic of each individual plant all are quite small. Seem to have 4 I'd class as big girls for my space. Six shooter, zkittles og, missile 33 and cosh kush are all nice little bushy plants. The white widow and the Rusian are nice as well maybe if I had positioned them differently in the tent it could all have been different who knows. Peace 🍁

Day 4 - sugar feed and defoliation. No fertilizer going forward

Hey now! So after 8 days of drying, and 6 days of curing, I just tried the Sour Diesel in a glass water pipe, and she is freaking amazing. She burns nice and slow, with thick clouds of smoke, and tastes exactly like she should, like a sour/citrus/fuel with a very nice aftertaste. I ended up with less than 20% of wet weight, but I am so ecstatic with the quality, I could freaking care less! I have a fantasy football draft on Saturday night, and I can't wait for the rest of my league to sample her! I had so much fun with this grow, from constructing the watering/draining system, to learning more about photography and video, to meeting everyone in this community, and finally to smoking Nugs that I actually grew! This stain is very stable, Easy to grow as a beginner

Pineapple Express (PE) x2 & Auto Durban Poison x3 (DP): This week They have grown a lot. PE #1, #2, & DP #1 all had dark green leaves with a waxy look. DP #1 even starting to show some white tips on new growth and a few white spots. This is a sign of Nitrogen Burn. Watered to run off to cool things but I feel it's not such a problem. They are still green and growing so I'll leave them be. Accidently pinched a leave on DP #1 marked it pretty good. Transplanted PE #1 & #2 into 3 Gal Pots. Transplanted DP #1, #2, & #3 into 1-Gal pots. But later up potted DP #2 to a 2-Gal tall pot once it flowered. DP #2 seems to be in flower very early (Day 33). Sohum Living Soil for Cannabis thus far has been a good but Hot soil. Retains water well. I've watered to run off then don't need to do it again for 4-5 Days. Currently hitting them with 18/6, 800-850 ppfd, RH 53%, Temps 75-80F, Ambient CO2 550-800ppm. FIMed DP #1 seems like there are 2 mains now. Topped DP #3 for 2 Colas as well. Practicing techniques.
