Well, well, well, well, for being my very first exprerience in indoors i've seen it very easy, the results were not spectacular, but they are /- what i was expecting. For being the first i think it ended up very well and i have learned too much. I'm happy with de decision of growing auto strains and 1 euro seeds to do my incursion to indoors. For initiating, auto strains are an excelent choice as they don't need too many care to grow them. If you leave them, you will have a good plant, if you expend a bit of time on them (just a bit), they can became awesome plants. Now i'm going to test with photo-period strains, yesterday night the cotyledeons of 2 Dinafem Gorilla Glue and 1 Strain Hunters Money Maker were out, the other Money is still in. Soon i will start this Gorilla Vs. Money Diary (with better photo equipment and lights) . Para iniciarse las genéticas auto son excelente pues no necesitan de cuidados ni control de tiempos. Si las dejas, te saldrán como el breeder haya decidido desarrollar su genética, si las cuidas un poco (no mucho) te darán mejores resultados. Para mi ha sido una buena iniciación, ahora voy a probar con foto-dependientes, ayer noche salieron los cotiledones de 2 Gorilla Glue de Dinafem y 1 de una Money Maker de Strain Hunters, la otra money aún no ha salido. A great week for the girls, started with some defoliating after figuring out where our net would be. Mostly the lower leaves and lowest sets of bud sites that would be popcorns or larf later. Also took a couple larger fan leaves to open them up for the light, and tied down the freshly healed topped main stems to even out the canopy. The diary was extended 2 days (and our diaries are late lol, birthdays) as we are flipping on the first of July, the net is around 70% full or more as of dropping it and tucking some branches. I'll probably shift them slightly, they'll be in the same spots but moved to give Blue Dream some extra tucking space. She's Sativa dominant and likely to stretch the most along side Apex and possible Citradellic Sunset but the journal's i've seen her stretch wasn't as severe lol. With extra tucking space, and being next to the taller hybrids it should help keep the right side canopy balanced. Both sides have their own 4x4 light. Bud Ignitor has been added on the last day. We will continue defoliation for the first two weeks of flower focusing on the under side of the canopy where it's shaded, and removing any suckers we find. There were signs of a Ph imbalance on Citradellic Sunset which is my own error, tap water Ph vs Nutrient Ph, not in soil anymore! lol But she has recovered happily and is growing vigorously. Still no new TDS meter so we stick close to the feeding schedule from Advanced Nutrients with some tweaks. We feed twice a week, Feed/Feed/Water. So instead of the full 4ml of base nutes we use 3ml each watering and they seem happier. 2ml of the additives but most are only added once a week except for Sensi Cal-Mag, Bud Candy and now Bud Ignitor (we also will use Big Bud, Nirvana and Overdrive twice a week). The final watering is PHd to be the same as the feed watering. Max strength base nutes have always burned the tips of my plants, I almost backed off to 2ml of base nutes twice a week as 3ml gave slight tip burn to the smaller Say Less and White Wedding but they have adjusted to it and new growth is healthy. I will most likely edge up to 3ml more gradually next grow. We are still new to scrog but I feel we are off to a better start this round, last time the net was completely full and I don't want a second net.

She started to flower on August 3rd I have to force flower giving her total darkness because my house is full surrounded by the street lights and I wanna make sure that she flowers without any risk or problem,always have to do that with Photoperiods outdoors.

Somehow I miscalculated the days and started week 6 prematurely. I will just continue here thru to week 7 Day 32 From Seed NYD#2 Started LST. Pot was light, watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. NYD#3 The pony tail backfired. The main is mangled. Despite small nodes, I started LST and watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. Day 33 From Seed Did some research and found out the ponytail should only be used during the light cycle and removed for the dark period. I left it on, which caused the ugly. Lesson learned! Day34 Adjusted and added LST. Watered #2 at 6.5. #3 was still heavy, no water needed. Day 37 Watered, adjusted LST Day 39 From Seed Watered, adjusted LST. Found a bug that isn't a fungus gnats (NYD#3). Inspected both plants for more. Did a neem oil top drench and added Vicks Vapor Rub to the pot rims (bug deterrent). So raised light roughly 4 inches. Day 41 Light watering, adjusted LST ties, top drenched with Neem Oil. Added a few ounces of peroxide to the humidifier. They'll both need a top dress soon.

Chugging along week six licking my wounds and biding my time all is well though I ain’t mad leasons learned no reason to cry over spilt milk

9/30/18. She still looks great. No burn and no deficiencies so far. I fed her a liter and a half . The pot is now heavy but not totally soaked. I did not water to runoff but the lower portion of the pot is wet. I don't like soaking the pots because the bottoms take ay too long to totally dry and I have had issues watering schedules. 10/5/18 Still doing perfect with minimal attention. Bumped up the amount of Grow Big last feeding with no ill effect. Looking ahead and having weeks before the auto is done I didn't know how to face the upcoming issue of vertical space. Shes too big to LST and I did not want to top her because shes doing incredibly well and want to see what she will produce. I rigged up a scrog contained within the bucket. I did a mod years ago to a smoker which gave me the idea in the middle of the night. I might change out the screen itself since it was just what I had on hand but will see how it works.. The openings are 2.5" so it should suit my needs. I have it set at 8 inches above soil but it is fully adjustable up and down by the nuts on the threaded rod. I plan on keeping the main stem under the screen to induce the plant to keep producing shoots and fill the area. Im pretty excited about trying this and Stay Tuned.

Week 4 update 🌱✨ — the tent is filling out fast! The main plant is spreading beautifully under the trellis after topping + LST. Side branches are shooting up and filling the grid nicely 👀🔥. Second plant is still smaller but showing strong recovery — fresh green growth and stronger branching since the 5-gal transplant 💪. Feeding Corex + Eldex + Terra + CalMag + Mira (~1,400 ppm @ pH 6.0) always to 10–20% runoff. Both are drinking heavy now and responding well. Temps holding around 27 °C with RH 60–70% 🌬️ — leaves are praying all day. Trellis training continues this week as I prep them for a strong stretch before flip. Flowering is getting closer 🚀🌿.”

Week 5! All those pic are from the same day. First pic is before transplanted in 11 liter pot ( I took off the weakest plant cause just 10 fit in my box) the soil is made of light mix and warm casting but I top dress with: 70/30 of 444 and 284 - 1 Tbsp per gallon Rock dust -1Tbsp per gallon I sprinkle the root ball with mycorrhiza and water with compost the of warm casting and molasses brew for 24 hours. Then I put the scrog net and bend all the plant under it, I use the cropping technique cause most of the plant were quite strong as u can see from the pic. Ps: don’t mind about the sound of the first video I’ve just been unlucky cause they pass in front of my house while I was make the video😂

Week 6 This plant is nearing the end. She never really fattened up but I am not surprised since she hermied 3ish weeks into flower. Regardless, she does look pretty good. She has frosted up nicely and she smells super strong!! I will likely change out the rez to plain pHd water in the next few days and give her a 3 day flush before I take her down. The majority of the pistils have receded and the trics are all cloudy with the odd amber one here and there. I can’t believe how quickly this plant finished up. I don’t expect a huge harvest but so long as it’s seed free or mostly seed free since she hermied I will be okay with that. The next time I do a run I will do two plants in the cooler so if there I any issues I have options.

Things are looking good, started with some lst with my hands at first now I've secured them with ties. The gelato looks like it finally want to start its growth due to whatever stress it was going through. Happy with how things are picking up

Ab mit dem Kopf ‼️Diese Woche habe ich zum ersten mal beschnitten.

This strain was easy to grow. I started out without an hygrometer. Due to delivery problems i had it very late and my girl noticed that becauce the envirement wasnt optimal for her. She did survive that period, after that she got defoliated multiple times, and i got really rough with her sometimes and broke of some stems, and that was no problem for her. I also had an encouter with thousands of thrips, which i had to nuke to remove them from my girl and she didnt even bother. In veg she was a good to handle, in flower it was a little bit harder and i think she likes alot more PK at the end of her lifetime than i offered her. But thats more of a guess. The smell matches more a cross between blueberry and lemon kush in my opinion. The gelato part is not so noticable at the end of the road.(for me atleast) But the blue in other hand is very dominant and strong by smell and taste. I ended up with hardrock buds even the smaller ones, so im very happy with the outcome. Because of my thrips invasion and usage of bioquant, i wanted to wash my buds for once to clean of all the dirt, dust, insect remains and other particles that shouldnt be in my bud. I did the oh so underrated BUDWASH, and wauw if would deffinatly recommend it to every grower with just a few plants. It really cleans your buds without effecting your potency, terps and overall buds. I also noticed that all buds dried at the same rate cause of the evenly spead moisture i guess. I ended up with 48.34 grams of hard and dry buds I took about 10 grams and turned it into superdelicious rosin because i also love to dab 😍 Thank you growdiaries for this amazing platform.
