wow, the girl seems to be doing very well, she is growing in minutes :D 33 days after germination, I changed the time to 12/12 :) so the girl goes into flowering :).

Some more training nothing special. I can really see the difference with one of my plants as its less dense and has some yellowing on its leaves, so I added Bloom and Top-Max to the nutrient mix as I suspected a Zinc deficiency, but to be safe I went with the full spectrum. The soil was probably depleted of nutrients anyway,

3/13/2024 - Day 15 Flower: Ran into some issues after the last watering. The newest leaves have some severe curling going on, and I've had a few leaves with some minor brown spotting. I'm not 100% sure what caused it, but narrowed it down to either TeaCo Super Tea, Recharge, or the foliar spray I did with Dr. Zymes Eliminator. I did the foliar at lights out, but maybe there was still some residue when the light came back on. Either way, I'm taking it easy on this watering. Gave them 4 gallons of 6.5 ph water mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Coconut Powder, and a half dose of Rootwise Bio-Catalyst and Yah-Whey. The curling does not seem ro be getting worse, so hopefully they will grow out of this. Also, they have started to slow on rhe stretching, which is good, because they are getting close to the light. 3/14/2023 - Day 16 Flower: So I've been looking at some of the more deformed leaves and I'm pretty sure the leaf curl and brown is from the Dr. Zymes. The leaves with issues appear to have a slight glossy residue to them. I'm guessing when the Dr. Zymes dried on the leaves, it had a reaction when the light came back on. Now that I'm into week 3 of flower, I plan to cut out any foliar sprays, so hopefully I'm right an the issue won't get worse. I had some seeds that I sprouted and forgot to use yesterday, so I made a 2 gallon Sprouted Seed Tea (SST) and added some Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Bio-Phos, and a half dose of Fermented Comfrey Extract and Fermented Peach Extract. 3/16/2023 - Day 18 Flower: plants are looking good. Flowers are starting to develop and I'm already seeing the beginning of some tricomes. Stretch appears to be just about done, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here. The curling from last week has not gotten any worse. 3/17/2023 - Day 19 Flower: watered about 6 gallons of worm tea I brewed for about 24 hours. Added some Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, BuildASoil BuildABloom, and Rootwise Bio-Catalyst. Also, did some minor defoliation of some of the larger fan leaves blocking lower bud sights. Still need to do more, but I plan to spread it out over a few days. 3/18/2023 - Day 20 Flower: Cleaned them all up real good. Took off all the large fan leaves, except for the top two, and cut off basically anything on the lower half of the plant. May have gone a little higher than I would have liked, now that I'm seeing it done, but too late now. Normally, i only like to take off about 1/3, but i guess we will see what happens when the bottom half is stripped. Always learning around here, haha. Hopefully I should have very little popcorn buds.

I like how the buds get bigger and bigger. Its a very special strain, need to grow the banana purple punch more.

Week 9 This week has been fairly busy in the tent. I have defoliated a couple of times and there has been a lot of tying the plant down. I also connected all my top off lines and drain lines. The top of my tent was a bit of a mess with cords and cables etc so I cleaned that rats nest up and that gave me the warm and fuzzies when I was done lol. I raised my lights up to where I hope to flower so that way the plant can grow up into the lights when the stretch hits. I have not reached 16 tops yet but I will be topping in the next few days so I am very close to the desired number of tops. I have not changed anything inside the cooler either. It’s the same ppm, pH etc as last week. I love how healthy this plant is even though I have not done a water change in 9 weeks lol. That’s blasphemy is some circles lol. 😎🌱🍻

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Week 9, Day 63, Day 19 of Flower. Once again all is going well, she is doing nicely. Buds are starting to bulk and some nice colas starting to form. I am very pleased with how she is doing. After this coming week 4 of Flower I am going to switch to only KoolBloom 2-45-28 for 2 to 3 weeks at a 1/4 tsp/gallon. Any suggestions or comments?

So I started in a rockwool cube. This week I put her in SOIL. Unfortunately it seems I'm unable to change the grow medium. So there's that. Anyway... Her leaves are really light shade of green however this is by no means a nitrogen deficiency. It's either just the genetics of the strain or a pheno. Ive heard people saying this strain flowers really fast so I was expecting her to flower this week.That did not happen. Kind of a good thing to be honest. Maybe this week however I am in no rush Anyways... I how to put her in soil at the beginning of the week because her one inch rockwool starter was completely riddled with roots and could not take another day. Put her in a 4 liter pot with about 20% perlite and 80% potting soil. Unfortunately I had no microryza for the transplant. All is going well and just cruising along I will have to start training her with some LST.

This week was a bit stressful. I was trying to identify the nutrient excess/deficiency. I think i narrowed it down to calcium deficiency, but these symptoms could also be a side effect of potassium excess (but what I gathered from my research, there is a very slim chance of this). Anyway I started to add CalMag to my regular waterings and they're showing some correction. I'll probablly water them with water, CalMag and lower than recommended amounts of nutrients for a day or two just to make sure. I had them on a 12/12 light cycle for 4-5 days, they've streched and risen up, which was what I wanted. They now on a 16/8 cycle.
