Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. Simplemente aplique una PEQUEÑA poda de bajos antes de trasplantar y pasar a floración. Empezamos la aplicación de enzynabis para crear una buena vida microbiana (también muy útil para evitar excesos o aprovechar cualqier “resto” que contenga nuestro suelo). También empezamos a regular los watts del led mars hydro ts1000,y a medida q vayan pasando las semanas se irá regulando a mayor potencia, hasta llegar al maximo (150w)

Que pasa familia, vamos con la quinta semana de floración de estas FBA2506 de FastBuds. De las 5 plantas, retiré una y me quede con 4 , preselección. La tierra que utilizamos que está en la publicación anterior es top crop all mix, Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2, regando cada 48 horas e intentando mantener la humedad en torno al 50 %. Las flores ya están progresando rápido y están cogiendo las 4 un tono morado bastante curioso. Los aromas por el momento dulces con tonos afrutados, como a gominolas o chicles. Un ejemplar sigue un poco sobrefertilizado, es la única con la que me corto para alimentar. Las próximas semanas vamos viendo cómo florecen, avanzan y terminan de madurar. Gave her some banana peel tea and she seemed to like it! Going up to two tbls to a 2 gallon jug today I am praying she can take it without issue, but I will feed the microbial life.with some black strap mollasas 1tsp to 1 liter of water

28 days huh... I don't know what to think here right now. The plant looks completely healthy, no over or underwatering symptoms, no nutrient deficiency or excess symptoms, completely healthy in my opinion. The plant is growing as seen in timelapse, would not say it is stunted. It is growing a shit ton of side nodes but nothing is stretching and I don't know why. I did see some stretching at the end of the week, either the plant will stretch drastically over the next week or I will end up with a Basketball-sized XXXL Bud. To be sure I re-calibrated all probes and they were fine before calibrating so no error on that side. Mixed a new batch of nutrient solutions and did a full swap of the reservoir. Added support bars and a net. Values are average of the day. Hi Growmies, My apologies for the delayed update, but work life balance got a bit out of wack recently. Anyways, water was changed on time and general maintenance took place. Continued with very light defoliation to really guarantee that all the shoots get equal light exposure. She is turning out to be a real beauty and literally no Scr.O.G was necessary due to her natural structure. Buds are already forming very compact and dense to touch, something that’s always a good sign ;) Since this is my first proper DWC grow I am actually quite impressed by the root growth and the resulting nutrient uptake, as well as vigor in plant growth. Is it btw just me or is this website getting slower, buggier and laggier by the day? Videos won’t upload, weeks don’t reflect, diaries won’t update….

Buds growing dense, this week I added 2 uvb-a lamps to help increase resin production. Smell is also great, like sweet lemon tart.

So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

10/05/2018 I'am thinking about 2 weeks out ?🙏 Cooler weather coming soon, buds starting to swell up i believe. #2,and #4 are the only ones to get any mold. All others are clear of any sign of mold. Number 1 seems to have more of the ghost 👻 train haze smells a!most identical to it but a little something different.Brrrr it's 41° out , now it's 39° Ps I think #1 will go 70 -78 days 10-11weeks? Potted plants will be at 63-72 days but just a guess the trich's will tell me when.👍
