This OGgelato is a champ! Not the heaviest producer, but its been a real pleasure and was easy to grow. No matter what nutrients I throw at her, or aggressive pruning, she bounces right back. This week I found bud rot on one of my other plants in the greenhouse but this plant has so far been resistant and is healthy. I thinned the canopy and defoliated out quite a bit to create more air flow. I now have fans on 24/7 and sprayed with a mycorrizhal fungicide that suppresses botrytis. Also this week I have stopped pulling the tarp on and off each night (for total darkness) because it seemed to trap in too much humidity at night. The humidity outside has been 80-90% for over a week! And the rain was so heavy all last week. This week is slightly warmer with less rain so hoping we can make it. The trichomes are starting to get milky. I imagine I have 1-2 weeks left but am not sure. This has been a pleasurable experience for sure, but this is stressful right now! The smell is so strong you can smell it on my block. You can see *everything* from the alleyway adjacent to the greenhouse. I'm worried about mold and thiefs and can not wait for this to be dried and in jars!

A very nice week for this frost machine.. I will remove more pk from her diet this week and lower her feeds to a 1.6ec from Greenbuzz Nutrients Organic Bloom. D57 Ninth week humidity problems, I added a fan in total 3, added an additional extractor that introduces fresh air, I constantly keep the growbox open, so the risk of mold seems to have been avoided. stop PK 13 14 and big bud, now only biobizz for my fat.

Wow this week has been a super bulking week. Buds are huge and dense when you squeeze between thumb and forefinger there’s no give at all. Very sticky lives up to the GG name. Smell is very strong earthy and almost a diesel undertone.

Plants are done, but the trichomes are not, so i will keep them going till i am satisfied with the ratios. Too bad, i wanted to trim them starting tomorrow but if i want peak potency, i have to wait and let the Trichomes be the indicator

We have hit day 35 and everything's looking great! Only 2 girls out of 8 have started flowering in the past day or two, the remaining six have shown sex and I'm anticipating flowering to begin sometime this week. I gave them a full feeding today. I'm using H&G Coco A+B, which is used from seed to harvest, unlike many other nutrient brands. I will start using H&G Bud-XL in the next few days, luckily I got a bottle before the shops close for Christmas. I didn't expect these autos to get so big so fast, but I'm definitely not complaining. Update day 37 - 26/12/20 I fed the girls their first dose of bud-xl today. 5/8 girls have started to flower now, hopefully, in the next few days the other 3 start up! Update: Day 40 - 29/12/20 6/8 girls are flowering now, the two that aren't are the 2 weird pheno runts.. I've submitted a grow question regarding the 2 weird girls. I'm hoping that they're simply late to flower and not a photoperiod.. I've been feeding the girls 1-2 litres each every day, with a plain PH'd water run every 7-14 days. Update day 41 - 30/12/20 All the girls have started to flower now :D I'm incredibly happy to see them so healthy at this point too I was almost going to put the 2 runts outside but I'm leaving them inside at this point. Not a whole lot to report you guys she is happy healthy and finally starting to get bulky now ... This strain does produce rock hard buds inside and outside grows have been good for me with this strain .The whole plant minus a few buds will be made into hash with this one can't wait ..

2 weeks into flower and you'd think it was more like week 4. I can already tell this is going to be a great yeild and great way to finish the year. So resilient. Despite high nutrient levels shes not showing any burn and stacking on the the buds. I've handpicked a few central leaves from around the more dense areas. The shorter more developed plant of the pair already smells phenomenal. Like rotten mango and orange zest. Already very sticky too. one thing I am suprised about is the lack of stretch. I really expected them to get much taller but it seems they are solely focused on flower production. That is something I will bare in mind on my next run. Check back for mid week updates.
