Hello fellow growers and users of my favorite lady Mary Jane. Yes we harvest the ladies and they give me 408 Grams dry of nice smelling bud that are compact and thick and sticky. The fun part is that the leafs turn purple. That was the first time I saw this.

Gorilla cookies has grown a lot. She is 18 inches tall! I took a picture so show viewers how much growth she has up under the main cola area. I decided that I needed to do a LST on her and tie down 4 of her stems. If you look at the pictures, you can see the LST really opened her up a lot. Looking at the weather this week, we are going to have a lot of bright, sunny days. That means I will have to water and feed my plants regularly. It will be nice to have a break from all of the rain that we have had. I bought some "Fruit Fly Sticky Traps Fungus Gnat Traps Insect Trap for Plants Kitchen Indoor Outdoor White Flies Mosquitos Fungus Gnats Flying Insects Houseplant Gifts" off of Amazon that I really like. I don't know if anyone else has a buggy problem, but it seems like every time I get a new bag of soil, there are little gnat like bugs flying around. I tried to show my viewers how many bugs the sticky traps caught. I am very interested in how my FBA Gorilla Cookies is going to grow --I usually buy 3 containers of FoxFarm nutrients but for this grow I am using Miracle Grow. I had some left over and decided to use up what I had instead of buying something new. As always, please leave me comment and EAT COOKIES!!!

Am one week into flush, a lot of leaves went yellow but hope not anything too ad will be cropping in one week. Is 76 days old. Can't believe how big has got 😁

DAY 6 WEEK 2 - FLOWER Hello fellow growers, I'm thrilled to report that my current grow is progressing smoothly as I enter Week 2 Day 6. The plant is showing promising signs of healthy growth with no apparent deficiencies detected thus far. However, I've encountered some peculiar symptoms with the leaves; it seems like there's some tissue tearing or ripping occurring. Despite thorough inspections, I'm confident in stating that pests are not the culprit, as I haven't observed any other signs they typically leave behind. It's a bit perplexing, but I'm keeping a close eye on it. One aspect I've been experimenting with in this grow is the use of an ExHale CO2 bag. While I had hoped for a noticeable increase in CO2 levels, I haven't seen a significant improvement. After careful consideration, I suspect that the lack of a sealed environment is hindering its effectiveness. Humidity issues prevent me from sealing the environment completely, which likely results in the CO2 being dispersed rapidly. For now, I've decided to forgo using the CO2 bags, but I'm open to revisiting them in the future if I can establish a sealed environment. Looking ahead to the start of Week 3 of the flowering stage, I plan to introduce PK boost additives to enhance potassium intake. This strategic addition aims to support robust flower development and overall yield. Despite the minor setbacks, I remain absolutely thrilled with the progress of this run. With approximately five more weeks to go, I'm eagerly anticipating the taste and aroma of the final product. I appreciate all the support and encouragement from fellow growers. Starting week 4 and everything is looking good, buds are forming now time for them to fatten up. There is trichrome coverage starting around the budsites and on some fan leaves. The plants are starting to put off that pungent gg4 smell with earthy undertones. I did a pretty aggressive defoliation on day 21 (11/9/18) and cleaned up the lowers with a light lollipopping. The plants stretched more than I wanted so I may have to add 1 more layer of trellis it just depends if they can hold themselves up once they start putting on the weight going to have to wait and see. The plants seem to look happy and are moving right along. Thanks for looking and happy growing!

Almost 2 weeks into flower now and things are starting to look good . The ladies got a nice shape to them looking nice and healthy they have grow a little but not much this past week I can say thats likely due to formation of flowers and getting ready for her last big stretch . So everything is going well now. She is all healthy and stron. Got her in first week of flower. Only gave her plain water this week. I added the Fluoresent to add some 6500k spectrum to my hps. It really helps and looks good. I got rid of the mini scrog. And decided to go allong with the LST because I wont be able to fill a SCROG.

I’m not 100% done collecting all the data. By the smell of it, this plant will be one of the dankest plants I’ve ever grown. More to come. Tuesday, September 5 I have the nugs in jars right now. Hopefully I didn’t let it dry too much. Right now the humidity is at around 52% but I think if I move the jar around a bit I can them to sweat a bit more.

Week...12🤠 So we're getting cold mornings, days are still sunny and worm She's a strawberry..well sorta speak😁 but tbh, I don't like the look of her😕 I did some re-tying, so she has a flatter and a bit more even canopy (you can't see that on the photos) and found what has been eating my leaves, cute but annoying🤠 I've also tied some string to the branch wires so it all grows level with the ground I know I said I won't, but I had to, so I did..I cut some leafs. She had to many whitch needed to go, so I decided to cut them before she starts to flower I've watered her with 17L of water, ph 7.15 because of my bad soil Also soon in the next week or two I'll start making my drying box, hopefully my plants won't die before harvest😁🤠 Looks like that's it for this week, it was a good week in terms of growing, so I'll see you next week!🤠

The end of week 9 of flowering arrives with no major structural changes, although the colas continue to thicken slightly, and the leaves are slowly taking on reddish hues. It seems unlikely that they’ll complete the full color transformation before harvest, but the visual progression is still beautiful to observe. No nutrients have been added this week—only filtered water through activated carbon, with the pH maintained between 6.3 and 6.4. This flushing phase helps to remove residual salts and fertilizers from the substrate, ensuring a cleaner and more natural final product. The trichomes are now showing a more pronounced milky coloration, though there are still relatively few with amber heads, indicating the plants haven’t quite reached full maturity yet. My plan is to wait until week 10, though I might harvest slightly earlier depending on how the trichomes evolve over the next few days. The aroma has become intense and complex—fruity, spicy, and fuel-like—suggesting a rich terpene profile with strong character. I’m genuinely excited to taste the outcome of this grow; after all the care and patience invested, anticipation is at its peak.

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! Day 44- I need to back off on the water nutes, I am forgetting the soil is strong enough. I will flush with plain water next time. Maybe I should do a plain water foliar feed? I’m still learning. But I think those B vitamins are keeping their metabolism high! Then I feel the need to spoon feed. After giving them much needed calcium, I start adding other things. Those Epsom Salts plus the amino acids on a plant with high metabolism receiving more B1, all while having lots of amended neem cake in the media, is going to be processing a sh*t load of nitrogen! Back to plain water. Another idea, maybe I will flush a little bit, and feed just CalMag. Day 48 I realized I haven’t gotten any pictures in for this week! Not that big of a mistake compared to the one I just corrected! The video is taken when they are back inside for the night as it a cold windy night, and they could use more light. I am not talking because I am sick and can’t talk to well. But it’s just quickly showing how they look after the whole ordeal I am about to mention. So I woke up this morning, and noticed all of the plants were showing subtle signs of a deficiency. Different deficiencies too! Some are going on the calcium deficiency, others potassium, some manganese even maybe a few others to be honest. Sometimes I could only see signs in the old leaves, and other times I would see signs in new leaves. Either way “most” of them were looking pretty good. But something about all this variability with different plants was oddly unsettling to me. I figured I had better stick the soil pH meter in there and make sure it’s not a pH issue. And to my horror, pH of barely 4.5!! More like 4.20! But honestly it was that low!!!! A miracle these plants haven’t locked out yet! But how did this happen? Yes it is all coming together for me. Every water I have been giving feed-water. I have been watering with a little runoff, but not enough runoff to manage what I was putting in! I’ve been “feed-watering” a lot more than usual because the pots are tiny and it’s super hot and mega dry during the days. Like 75-80 degrees (F) and 10-25% relative humidity lately. So no wonder they are drying out fast. All those salts left behind from last feed. So they built up, apparently pretty high. I didn’t think I was feeding too much, especially because I would get a descent amount to drain out the bottoms every time. Either way, I fed too heavy and flushed too little! So I brought out the foxfarm SLEDGEHAMMER!!!!! Did a quick flush, flushed with plain water to get the sledgehammer out, then a recheck on the soil pH meter. Comes out 6.8! So I gave feed-water at ph of 7 afterwords. They were dry enough before all of this, I conveniently avoided damping issues. Now they will dry out and receive plain pH 7 RO water on next watering. I still have lots of doubt as if I have any clue what I am doing! But so far so good. I try to support the microbes as much as possible, i definitely could use their support. And it might be because of the microbes, CalMag and fulvic acid, that has prevented lockout. But yeah the fact the pH in the soil was corrected with a flush, gives me a peace of mind. The other three from “The Hondo Titan” diary had high levels of sulfur to lime, the flush did not fix, so I repotted them in new soil with pH 7. Also those hydroton expanded clay pebbles become rich with acidic salts, because the water leaves and all the nutes and minerals are captured and stored with the pebbles. Good in small levels. But if the pot dries out every day, those pebbles will eventually make the pH meter smack the end suggesting less than pH of 3.5!!!!!!!! But no pebbles were used on these girls thankfully!!
