Auto Banana Kush is growing good under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She was a pain to get started, but is off and running now. I did have a minor ph swing but I corrected it over last day or two. She got her first lst today, and her root tips pruned. So there's a few things going on here. First, im not entirely sure if this is amnesia. I started 3 grows at the same time and have forgotten to label them when i've repotted them. This is the most sativa out of the batch of 3 (others are girl scout cookies and monster skittlez) and its supposed to flower for 12 weeks or something like that. However, this is week 7 of flower (or possibly 8, still finding it difficult to pinpoint that) and looking at the trichromes i have a feeling that she is ready for harvest. I'm hoping you guys can help me out here - so theres two questions id like to ask: - does this look like an amnesia fotoperiod plant? and, - according to the trichrome shots : is she about ready for harvest? thanks!

Starting to see some frost building up! This plant has been slower to come around but she sure shot up. I did LST a little late on the main cola so it looks a bit funky but she's living and packing on weight. I consider it a win and lesson learned <3

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. 😎 Had to reduce the light to 50% as they are getting too close,.they done a mad stretch but S seem to doing okay no signs of burns, Been rotating the plants so they not getting to cooked in same spot.
