🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿

Poor Skunk Apple really is the runt of the litter. I think we can blame my rookie mistake of giving it a gallon of water that was way too strong. It's been struggling to recover ever since. Hopefully this little guy will catch up eventually, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet! I can't believe how much my plants have grown during this stretch! It's like they've been on some serious plant steroids. They've all at least doubled in size, some of them even more. I have a hard time with overwatering, especially now that it's harder to let them dry out. I just don't know if I'm damaging the roots with all this growth.

Ak 01, the largest from the start, shows a loss of apical dominance, naturally pruned in a Y shape. A leaf has sprouted instead of a top. This is the first time I've ever seen this. I'll see how it turns out. Showed pistils today at 16 days old. Ak 02 showed pistils at 15 days old; my record until then was 17 days old. I'm scared of that speed.

Week 13 from Seed | Week 2 Flower - Eternity Grow Cup Update April marks a fresh beginning, a new season, and a new stage in our Eternity Grow Cup journey. While many celebrate April Fool’s, for me, this is a time of progress and transformation in the garden. 🌱( and yes i know i am a coupe weeks back on the dates in here, but today still the 1st of April so still new year to me ) This week, the girls are filling up their space beautifully. While I continue bending them to maximize coverage, they remain incredibly compact—short, strong, and resilient. No extreme stretching, just thick, vigorous plants showing their best potential. Each of the five ladies is looking absolutely stunning. TrolMaster Ecosystem in Action The full TrolMaster system is running smoothly, allowing for optimal environmental control. Currently, I am using full spectrum with the reds, but I have yet to introduce UV into the mix. The girls are responding well to the setup, and I’m loving how everything is coming together. Room Conditions PPFD: 750 Temperature: 26.6°C Humidity: 68.9% CO2 Levels: 1200 PPM The environment is staying in a great range, ensuring that the plants can thrive under perfect conditions. Reservoir & Soil Data pH: 5.97 (Holding steady at 5.8) Water Temperature: 18.7°C (Still a bit low—I need to make adjustments) Soil EC: 1.09 Soil Temperature: 21.8°C (Better, but aiming for 22-23°C) Humidity remains a crucial factor, even in flower, so I’m continuing to use humidifiers to keep the levels stable. The air is quite dry, but managing it properly is key to keeping the girls happy. A Look Into the Grow Space I’ve shared some full-room shots so you can all get a better idea of my workspace. Having an organized, clean, and efficient grow area is essential for a smooth and successful run. Let me know what you think of the setup! A huge THANK YOU to Zamnesia, Plagron, and Grow Diaries for making this contest possible. The competition is heating up, and I want to wish all the growers the best of luck in the Eternity Grow Cup! Your dedication and passion inspire me every day. Big love to my sponsors and the entire community—whether you’re here for the love, the knowledge, or even the hate (yes, I see you too 😆)—I apprecilove each and every one of you! Stay Tuned! 1/21/24 - Day 76 - Everything is looking good still. Today is water change day! This time i was out at the box during the change. Everything went well. I did install a new temperature sensor to replace the old one. Also I installed a new C, and PH- bottle. 1/23/24 - Day 78 - I noticed the buds are starting to fatten up. They kind of grow in little nodules sticking out from the main bud site. Its really cool to see. I added some pictures up top! Ill update on some more pictures in the next couple of days. 1/25/24 - Day 80 - The buds are getting fatter and the smell is getting super pungent. Everything is going as planned. I need to start scoping it to check for color. We are still a long ways from starting the flush but it time to start looking!

Harvest Report: The Swift Journey of Blackberry Auto Greetings, fellow cultivators! The moment we've all been eagerly awaiting has arrived – the harvest of my Blackberry Auto. This beauty has moved through her life cycle with astonishing speed and grace. Let's take a moment to reflect on her incredible journey from seed to harvest and celebrate the fruits of our labor. Seed to Sprout: It feels like just yesterday when I planted the tiny seed of Blackberry Auto. Nestled in a Root Riot cube, she sprouted with vigor, her first delicate leaves reaching for the light. The conditions were perfect, with temperatures at a steady 28°C and relative humidity at 95%, creating an ideal environment for her early growth. Transplanting and Early Growth: As she transitioned to a small pot filled with rich soil and Mycor Mix, Blackberry Auto continued to thrive. The Mycor Mix, with its blend of various mycorrhizae species, worked wonders in enlarging her root system and facilitating nutrient uptake. Her early growth was nothing short of spectacular, setting the stage for the robust plant she would become. Rapid Vegetative Phase: Blackberry Auto quickly outgrew her initial pot and was soon transplanted into her final home – a 16L AutoPot. This setup allowed her to drink as she pleased, supported by the precise hydration of the AutoPot Aquavalve. With a foundation of Aptus All-in-One Pellets and Mycor Mix Soil, she had everything she needed for explosive growth. Her leaves grew enormous and lush, and her branches spread wide with gentle low-stress training. Swift Flowering and Stunning Development: Entering the flowering phase, Blackberry Auto didn't slow down. Her buds formed quickly, each one a masterpiece of nature. The colors were a sight to behold – deep purples, vibrant magentas, and hints of dark blue. The aromatic symphony filled the grow room, a testament to her potent genetics and the meticulous care provided. Natural Brilliance and Final Weeks: Observing her rapid progress, I ceased all feedings to let Blackberry Auto showcase her natural brilliance. Her final weeks were marked by a dazzling display of colors and an incredible pace of bud development. Each day brought new marvels, as her buds swelled and her trichomes sparkled like a constellation. A Heartfelt Reflection: From the moment she sprouted to her final days of flowering, Blackberry Auto has been a true wonder. Her speed and beauty have exceeded all expectations, and it's hard to believe how quickly she reached this point. This journey has been a testament to the magic of cultivation and the resilience of a well-bred strain. Acknowledgments and Gratitude: As we celebrate this harvest, I extend my deepest gratitude to @fastbuds_official for creating such a remarkable strain. To Aptus Holland, my main sponsor, your support has been invaluable in nurturing this beauty. A special thank you to Grow Diaries for providing a platform to share this journey, and to the community for your shared passion and camaraderie. 🌱💚 As we move forward, I eagerly anticipate the trim and smoke reports, where we'll dive into the sensory delights of Blackberry Auto. For now, let's revel in the joy of a successful harvest and the extraordinary journey that brought us here. Greetings, fellow growers and cosmic adventurers! As we bid farewell to Week 10, we find ourselves at the culmination of an extraordinary journey with our beloved Apolo F1. Join me as we embark on a retrospective voyage through the highs and lows, the triumphs and challenges, of this cosmic odyssey. Our journey with Apolo F1 began ten weeks ago, a small seedling filled with potential and promise. From those humble beginnings, she grew and flourished under our watchful gaze, unfurling her leaves and reaching for the stars with each passing day. Through meticulous care and nurturing attention, we witnessed her transformation into a true botanical queen. Throughout her growth cycle, we employed various techniques to coax the best from our cosmic companion. From LST to topping, we shaped and sculpted her canopy, encouraging lateral growth and maximizing light penetration. As a result, Apolo F1 flourished, her branches reaching skyward in a testament to the power of cultivation and the wonders of nature. Central to Apolo F1's journey was the nourishment provided by Aptus Holland, our steadfast companion and sponsor. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. The mind is constantly working and producing, just like a factory. It's not just a passive recipient of information but an active producer of ideas, attitudes, and beliefs. The "ingredients" in this factory are the information you consume, such as books, conversations, and the media you engage with. The "products" are your thoughts, beliefs, and actions. The quality of the ingredients directly influences the quality of the output. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. Other factors include chloroplast number, respiration rate, and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, as plants are often in a CO2-deficient condition. 60x60x18=64800seconds x 700 = 45,360,000moles. 45DLI Exposure to 165 µW/cm² of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) light for 3600 seconds = 1 hour, a extremely high, acute dose triggering stress responses and protective mechanisms. . The plant's photoreceptor protein, UVR8, senses the UV-B radiation. This triggers a signaling cascade that activates specific genes to protect the plant from damage. In response to the UV-B signal, the plant ramps up the biosynthesis of protective compounds like flavonoids, phenolic acids, and anthocyanins. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function. I am playing in the enchanted forest. A shift in perspective is what changes perception over time. By deliberately considering a situation from another point of view (perspective), you can challenge your initial, knee-jerk interpretation (perception). This is a valuable skill in both personal and professional life for fostering empathy, improving problem-solving, and making more informed decisions. Move the mind off perception into perspective. Thank you.

Well it seems like I have amnesia already with how quickly this one grew and finished, haha. I did a check with the 100x microscope and trichomes are beginning to turn translucent/milky with no amber at all. I noticed this, trimmed up some more fading leaves and got her ready for flush since I had used Beastie Bloomz and Overdrive late in the flowering phase. I need to do some more research on organic alternatives for boosters and be prepared for next time. Usually with a fully organic system there is no need for a flush because of the active rhizosphere and the breakdown of organic substances. I removed the lid containing the net pot, roots and screen that they grew through and had my girl slide a shallow tote underneath. I left an air line/stone with the roots and filled 2 gallons of RO with Clearex which is a commercial flushing agent, mostly composed of citric acid as well as a half of a tsp of Microbes in each gallon. Planning on leaving her like this for a couple days, continuously flushing by the day, pouring from the top of the net pot to fill.

Week 8, the last feed! Defoliated to let more air flow and light penetrate down into the lowers of the plant. Bud's are sticky, plant is covered in frost, the pics don't do it justice. For a small pot grow, she's not that far behind her big pot sister
