So we've hit day 49 with the girls! Everyone seems to be happy. The 2 little runts are now the biggest in the crop, they're super stretchy and about a week behind in flowering. I hope to be able to harvest all the plants at once as I plan to dry in my tent, but if I have to do a staggered harvest then, I guess I gotta do it. Nutes are listed above, everything has been working excellent so far. (I may be trying different coco nutes next run, as I'm suspecting the H&G set I'm using has contributed to the stretchiness of the girls.) UPDATE - DAY 51 - 09/01/21 Everything seems to be just fine at this stage in time. the runts are flowering slowly, so i hope they pick up sometime soon. 1 of the plants(the healthiest since day 1) seems to be a week or so ahead in flower. I'm still hoping to chop the whole tent down at the same time (Fingers crossed!). UPDATE - Day 53 - 11/01/21 The girls seem to be happy today. Pheno type 1 ( plant 1 + 2) - Much more bud production than the rest of the plants. pheno type 2 (plant 3 + 4) - runts of the litter are now the stretchiest out of the lot Pheno type 3 (remainder of plants) are inbetween pheno 1 & 2. I'm still hoping to harvest the majority of the girls at the same time, still have a while to go though :) Thanks for stopping by!

We are at the end of fruiting and they are getting ripped! Beautiful sweet creamy smell mixed with a green sour. I believe at least from the smell pound cake will be one of my favourites, but let's wait for the smoke test. Nothing major to report, all the blumat issues where fixed and also the nutrient deficiencies. I'll not be adding anything else other than water until they finish. Just had the final defoliation to improve air circulation because they are so small that the branches overlapped a lot.my next auto's I'll just let them grow naturally because, from what I've seen and read I think I trained too much and that will impact production in a bad way. The poundC#1 really became delayed because of the dey period that it has gone through and now I'm hopping that I can manage to harvest at the same time without major losses because I have to dry on the same tent for now. It is the only place than I can maintain the ideal conditions.

Flush week is here! Or was here lol. I was behind on my journal's and I've actually already chopped the girls (pics included) and will update soon with a harvest week as soon as they are finished hang drying. The trichomes were cloudy white with roughly 20-30% amber trichomes and some wonderful terp aromas from each. 100K has a smell and taste (we sampled a bud dried in a paper bag, was fantastic) has a similarity to Slapz from the same release and it is honestly a great flavor and aroma to have. She also has hints of nutty earthiness underneath from her White Truffles and they blend well together. Grandaddy's terps vary going down her branches so far. At the top her grapey berry aroma is dominant where as the lower buds are more heavily of flowers (violets, i agree with leafly on that aroma description for GDP) with hints of the berries. A sample from a paper bag was mostly of violet flowers and smoke smooth with a deep relaxing high. Better info to come with the harvest week update! Plants were left in 48 hours of darkness with attention to airflower kept to prevent mold Our drying set up: The tent light is off, with oscillating fan removed. Only an intake was left on the bottom (removed oscillating fan after 1st day was too much) with a small monkey fan pointed across to keep it moving along the floor, with the exhaust running up top to keep even airflow around the buds. I'm trying to avoid any direct airflow on the buds. The trellis net is lifted to the top of the tent, to hang the branches from easily with plant wire. Our drying conditions: The branches are hung individually after snipping off larger fan / water leaves, we try to leave some of the smaller leaves to help protect the buds and their terpenes. Our environment we try to keep in the mid to low 60s, but never higher than 68 (I prefer 66 degrees farenheit) and the humidity we keep around 60 to 60% but no higher, and preferably never lower. This is to protect the terpenes and cannabinoids from evaporating due to heat or dry conditions. I changed to this method after some research and owe the idea on temps and humidity to Matt from Mr Canucks Grow on Youtube, it's a more recent video of his from within the past year and was very informative.

Last week I fought some yellowing of the leaves. Did some small adjustments on PH to keep it in the 5.6 range. Seemed to stop it from progressing. For Week 3 Veg I topped the plants. I plan to flip the lights at the end of week 3 and move into flower. Lights are still at 25% power Day 17 Leaves are getting darker. Everything is looking good. Day 18 Turned room temp down to 73F from 76F. Fearing it is warming up my res tank too much. Day 19 Starting to get yellowing again. checked everything and can't find a good reason for it. Did notice some cloudiness in my res tank. Added 2 ML/Gal of peroxide. have Hydroguard on the way to help. I'll be adding more fans this weekend. I have light air movement currently. Also found a few spider mites and sprayed Greencleaner to all plants. Current environment settings: Room Temp 72.74 F Room Humidity 63.63% (After spraying, Trending down). Room CO2 589PPM Tank PH 5.718 Tank PPM (500 Scale) 813 Tank Temp 74.5 F Day 20 Recalibrated my EC probe just to be sure it was also accurate. wasn't off by much. Dialed back my flooding to every 5 hours to encourage Rooting. <-- Strong roots = strong Plants Sprayed for mites again.

Blütetag 63: Super Strain! Wie vom Breeder beschrieben, werden die Blüten so schwer, dass die Äste knicken, was ich leider beim Bewegen der Pflanze, um eine andere zu Ernten, feststellen musste😅 hat sie aber anscheinend ohne große Probleme weggesteckt. mein Pheno war vom Wuchs eher wie eine Sativa mit langen Blüten. Geruch mega skunky und mega frosty Blüten. Ertrag XXL! Update: wegen den bereits geknickten Ästen habe ich sie old school mäßig uspide down trimmen müssen. War bei den ganzen Verzweigungen auch eine Menge Arbeit. Bisher der längste Trimm in diesem Grow! Die lasse ich erstmal so wie sie ist hängen.

Heatwave Tested, Veggie Blessed ☀️🌱 Rolling into Week 3 of veg, and this little mystery girl is looking absolutely beautiful. Compact, vibrant, and showing all the right signs of healthy growth. 💚🌿 This week brought the heat—literally. We hit over 40°C in direct sun, and although she definitely felt it, she powered through like a champ. No major signs of stress, just a little sun-kissed and stronger for it. 💪🔥 I gave her a solid dose of effective microorganisms a couple days before feeding with BioBizz Grow, and she’s been loving it. The green is deep and rich, and her structure is nice and tight. She’s holding up strong, bouncing back from the heat, and I’m super excited to see her take off in the coming week. Something tells me she’s got big plans… 🚀🌼

This week went well too... I was expecting even more volume so far, but I'm still satisfied... I think the overdrive next week will fix it... smell-wise, I have to say it smells very fruity and sweet... I hope it continues like this.

Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. These have been growing kind of slowly but I got the temps up a little this week by adding some extra light and am getting vpd dialed in. These will only be in this tent for a few more days I am just starting to harvest the main tent so once that is done they will be moved to the Gorilla Grow Tent and put under the new Growlightscience LEDs so we can see how the perform full cycle. The autos will have to get moved back into this tent once I flip the main tent but the photos will prob need a few weeks of veg before that happens. Been doing foliars with the Growzyme from greenbuzz as well before lights out every other night which seems to make them happy. I think theyll take off over the next couple weeks.
