This is starting 9th wk. Not going to flip unit wk 12. Hoping seedinds will get bigger. Autos showing sex, but no buding. I got 2 plants from fastbuds going. I think may some of the genetics are a Little old. Run them before my GG4 Isnt growing like the first one did. Just waiting. Any advice would be well appreciated.

It’s been a good week for the Pineapple Express—great growth, thanks to daytime temperatures of 23°C in the sun and a light breeze. The internode spacing is good, the first side shoots are forming, and you can see a difference every two hours. It already has a subtle scent, but it smells delicious ;-)

Herzlich willkommen in Woche 7 Im Moment sieht es sehr GESUND aus ^^ 😀 Der mS- Wert von 0,8 zu Anfang, war schon echt knirsch 😅 Gestern gemessen war der Bodenwert bei 0.7 mS Daher haben wir die letzten 2 Tage erstmal mit PH- angepassten Destiliertem Wasser gegossen. Trinken tun sie wirklich gut. Düngen tun wir aktuell nicht. Insgesamt freuen wir uns auf die kommende Woche und wünschen somit allen eine angenehme und erfolgreiche Woche! VG ✌️

Nov 29: They seem to be accelerating in veg growth but I see a small portion of the leaf on the smaller plant either grew in mutated or somthing cut it, I haven’t seen a single bug in the box so I don’t think it’s that but you never know, and the bigger plant has some issues near the base of its stem, I noticed it before I did the LST and now I’m wondering if I should have addressed that issue before starting the LST. Let me know what you guys think! Dec 2: Walked into the room and noticed a faint smell, wasn’t any smell last night when I started the LST on the slower girl. Further inspection showed some white pistols on the bigger girl, I believe she is the culprit for the smell as the other seems about a week behind. They are both now LST‘d and leaf tucked. Dec 6: I have tied down some of the longer chutes on the bigger plant (will see in week 5 update) to create more airflow and light penetration as I didn’t even realize how bushy the stem and node sections had gotten. I have also cut the chutes coming off the first true leaf. I don’t think I will make any cuts to the smaller one as it’s already a slower growing pheno. Going on a trip starting the end of week secede to late week 8, so I have a automatic feeder coming from Amazon, and I will continue using it through flower to reduce open tent time.

Wow Gnome Autos, while I seem to not have grew the blue pheno, the response and multiple budsites just from lst is amazing. She's behind her colleagues in the tent but definitely the largest of them. Really excited about this strain and up and coming breeder. ✌️ ❤️ 🌳 P.s. Gnome autos if you see this hook a growmie up with an Anvil bean or 2, I can't find them anywhere 😅

I feel like I’m off the rails entering week 10! I’m definitely on trichome watch for Rachel. Chandler still has a few weeks more. But I noticed a significant decline in leaf health in Rachel particularly. I have several suspects: My low ph problems are coming to bite me big time. I did have some poor watering practices week before last as well (I was sick and they went thirsty too long). I just hope I can careen this and stick a somewhat decent landing, come on weed gods, be the wind in my sails! Haha

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 9/20- Here we gooo... Week 6 of flower and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiods flowers are exploding now! 9/22- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the Papaya Sherbet continues. She is unfortunately starting to show signs of Septoria which is a bummer, but at least it's showing up late in flower so it hopefully won't affect the outcome too much. 9/24- Our weather has now cooled off dramatically, with daytime highs in the mid 60's℉, and nighttime temperatures dipping into the low 50's℉. As a result I have cut back on the amount of water the Papaya Sherbet photo is receiving daily. 9/26- There's another exciting week of flowering on the books for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo and from the looks of her, she only has a couple of weeks to go! Pretty quiet week. Seeing some yellowing leaves which is a big indicator of a nitrogen issue but I’m hoping that it’s just because I’m in mid flower and not a bigger problem. Mantis Nutrients walked me through my issues and I have flushed the plant. Will now start giving lower doses of nutrients and will slowly increase the amount. The buds themselves are getting really sticky and stinky. Love watching them grow!

Today is the last day of week 1 flower. I've been working on raising the ph in the medium of Zorro x Purple Punch 2, she was showing a Calcium Deff in the previous post. She was getting the same feed as the others ph 6.2 but instead of running off around 5.8 like the others she was swinging right down to like 5.2-5.3 so she's been getting a separate feed with neutral ph and her runoff comes out at 6.2 now which I'm happy with as I move into the second week of flower and where I got them all to with today's feed. She has shown no further defficiciencies since. Other than that they have all been doing what they do best and they have been happy all week, only really disturbed them to feed them, until today. Today I gave them a little training and bent their branches away from each other. Also today I switched their feed up a little but I've not added the changes to this entry because today is one day and the values are for the whole week but the changes today are as follows.... I took out Cellmax Rootbooster - pots are well rooted and I'm leaning towards flower production now as I come into week 2 of flower. I added Cellmax Flower Stimulator at half strength - easing them into flower power mode! I added Cellmax AlgaMax 1ml per litre - The kelp keeps stress levels minimum and I've done a little LST plus the last 2 days have been around 20 celcius which translated to 26 - 30 celcius in my tent. I alternate all watering one with feed and one without so long as they are in good health. Other than that not much to report, growths good, bud formation is on schedule with lots of pistils although they are 9 weeks old so they already had nice lady gardens 🤭 Thanks for looking in One Love💚 Fire Farmer🔥👨‍🌾

I fudged up one pot , when lifting it the down part popped and root parts went away. The plant already had his main branch broken and is still hanging. Please advice on the deficiencies of the biggest plant. What other nutrients can I add here ? I have humic acid in little pallets. Dutch pro bloom is coming on it’s way, I’m still watering with hand distributed nutes that could have the emblems “A”+”B” mixed up. To everyone telling that it brings a big issues to the company - no - it’s just a dude most of the time buying bulk amounts and selling per liter, having the original packaging on the bottle glued up. Anyway, any advice is appreciated.

Day 42-49: I had some growth this week primarily on the R3 and some on the CbDream. Very slow on the R2. I’m wondering if it’s just sub par phenotypes. Idk anymore haha. Just waiting to see what happens here. Don’t think I’ll pack it right full next time. And try to concentrate more on 8-12 tops on a manifold rather than 30 smaller ones. Live and learn. I bought an Inkbird heat and cooling controller, seems to be holding my temps and 77 in the day and 69 at night. I decided to go back to week 4 ratios to see if that helps, they aren’t overly different so we’ll see. Runoff for Cali Kush and R2 which are closer to the heater is 5.75 1000 and R3 and CbDream is 6.05-1.2 1400, so plain water for the next couple waterings.

Constructive interference is the phenomenon where two waves combine to form a new wave with a larger amplitude. This occurs when the peaks of one wave align with the peaks of another, and troughs align with troughs, causing their amplitudes to add together. For example, if two identical waves meet, their amplitudes will combine to produce a resultant wave with double the original amplitude. Constructive interference is a fundamental phenomenon based on the universal laws of nature, specifically the principle of superposition. 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. When H+ ions are added to soil, the first nutrient displaced from exchange sites is typically aluminum (Al3+), if it's present, followed by calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg2+), and potassium (K+), because aluminum and these base cations have different binding strengths. The order of displacement depends on the lyotropic series, where ions with a higher positive charge and those with weaker binding strengths are displaced first. The specific order of nutrient displacement is determined by the lyotropic series, which ranks the strength with which cations are adsorbed by soil particles: Al3+: Most strongly adsorbed, so if present, it will be displaced by H+ ions, leading to increased solubility of aluminum and potential plant toxicity. Ca2+: Displaced next, as it is more strongly bound than Mg2+ or K+ but less than Al3+. Mg2+ and K+: Displaced after Ca2+. The displaced nutrients can be lost from the root zone through leaching, becoming unavailable to plants. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrification process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work. Oxygen is the alchemist's "fire"
