Week 5 (41days) Flower

Dia 1 de vegetación Veg1, cuando empiezan a crecer las primeras hojas de mas de un dedo/puntas considero que han dejado de ser plantulas, y han comenzado la vegetación. Entonces, les he dado su primer alimento con nutrientes muy suaves(micro, grow y bloom) en una EC de 0.5, con pH de 6.2, ademas de seguir inoculando la tierra y raices que vienen desarrollando con voodoo juice, tarantula y piranha, con 1/2 de fuerza. Veg2, riego con 0.3 EC y pH 6.1, desde el primer riego están creciendo más rápido. Veg3, riego con 0.6 EC y pH 6.0, primer riego con suficiente agua para obtener drenaje, el drenaje midió 1.2 EC y 6.5 pH, todo ok. Veg4, nada hoy. Veg5, riego con 1.2 EC y pH 6.2, se usó Sensi CalMag en este riego @2ml/litro por un poco de amarillo en el nuevo crecimiento, B-52 también. Veg6, siguen creciendo bien, al parecer se corrigió lo amarillo en las hojas. Veg7, riego con 0.7 EC y 6.0 pH, drenaje de 1.1 EC (ok) y 6.6 pH (un poco alto), siguientes riegos serán con pH 5.8. Subí la luz y bajé su intensidad para que las plantas estiren un poco antes del transplante, las raíces de la más pequeña estaban ok, la más pequeña fue sacrificada, ya van quedando 11 de las 9 plantas finales. Ahora a esperar que se desarrollen suficiente(3-4 sets de hojas verdaderas) para hacer transplante a la maceta definitiva de 18 litros.

She looks very healthy and happy, she's fatting those flowers, she's very sticky, wonderful resin production and very very sweet aromas, just like her sisters, let's see how she turns out. I love her so far! 😍🤤❄️

9/12 Sprayed 1 tbsp K Bicarb with 1/4tsp dawn. Only had time to use a half gallon. I've used more but with all the defoliation this seemed to work and I was in a hurry. I can't ask those watching my plants to do actual labor when I'm not home. I wouldn't want anyone working on my plants but me anyway. I defoliated dead stuff. Still have this rusty looking leaves dieing on my ice cream cake. I need to finish a little defoliating. Broke out my 100x scope and checked a few buds. Things are exploding. Another nice sunny day today. Beastie bloom had no negative effects. I'll use it again and I'll probably use cha ching as well. Went back down to defoliate a little more. I'm getting excited. Still a lot of work left but it's nice to see the progression. Had to cut out a small nug last night that looked like it might start to rot. It was probably fine but I wasn't taking chances. It's so dank and crystally. One of my mystery seeds in the 5 gallon will be done soon. Milky trichs and hard as a rock. Im hoping they will beef up a bit. Little to no amber but things are progressing so fast. I mean nights are in the 40°'s. 9/13 No need to water as it had rained so much the bags need to dry out. Sunny day today. Plants are doing great. Buds increase in bulk on the daily. Took a few pictures and defoliated what needed it. A dog was added to the grow for security. It hasn't gotten used to me yet but it's extremely loud and annoying. Nothing will get past it though. I tried to last night. I shut down the motion sensors informed the other growers (except the person who's shift it was to watch) and I couldn't make it down there on foot let alone a vehicle. Hope the dog liked me but it's certainly useful. It APPEARS we will be having some good weather so I'm excited. I think my plants will be able to finish properly. At least I hope. Either way if I have to harvest early do to the weather so he it but I'll cross that bridge when it comes. Plan to do a preventative BT spray this week. 9/14 FED TODAY. LOWERED GROW BIG TO HALF TBSP. AND AGAIN used 1/4 TBSP Beastie Bloom. Buds are swelling with the sunshine that we've had. I defoliated what needed it and found more dead foliage. It's so weird this damage. I'm pretty sure it's earwigs but the only bother new shoots so that's a good thing. Things are getting close and looking good. I need to do another app of BT. I heard a storm may be coming I'll need to check the weather. 9/15 After a few good days of weather we are in for some rain. Supposably a big storm but it looks like I won't get the worst of it. No water obviously. Something (probably earwigs or jpn beetles) eating or lollipopping lower things. They seem to leave flowers alone. It's just low shoots. Everything is flowering incredibly. I checked trichs on one of my mystery seeds and it looks done. I'm considering taking it. It's in my garage for 24 hrs of darkness and to avoid rain until I make my decision. I also took the two lowest branches off on DJ Short blueberry to taste test and see where I'm at. I probably shouldn't but o do this every year. It will be good to try the mystery bud before I harvest it all. It's just a little guy but the buds are rock hard and with the weather and pm and stuff I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. UPDATE: APPARENTLY WE HAVE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WARNINGS WITH GOLF BALL SIZED HAIL. I can move the other little ones in the garage but everything else is firmly rooted and have taken a beating already. I pray things will be ok. 9/16 No damage from the ridiculous storm last night. I need to spray ASAP. I have a fungal infection with just a few weeks to go. Looks like PM but I know some is a different fungal issue. I'll probably use the k bicarb or citric acid. So far no bud damage or damage up top. The things the earwigs ate were low like the lollipoped lower limbs. It's getting so close. I've been checking trichs and they look great but the buds have some filling out to do. 9/17 DID K BICARBONATE TREATMENT THIS AM. I didn't even look to see if I needed to water. Fuck. buds were soaking wet though so it must've rained. I have to go back down anyway to add a couple strings and do a little more defoliating. Did a treatment with k bicarb this morning.. 1 tbsp with dawn in a half gallon sprayer. I also need to address this earwig problem. They are ravaging some secondary lower branches and Im sure they are spreading disease. I only have a few weeks left and I want the best quality I can possibly get. I plan to put gorilla tape on the outside of the grow bag (double width) and petroleum jelly on the stems. That way they can't climb the bag. If they are in the soil of the bag hopefully the jelly will stop them. I'll also try beer as I've heard that works. I really don't want to resort to borax. Oh and I may have had a visitor last night. I'll have to check the cams. Nothing on the ones I checked but I have some game cams at different angles I haven't checked yet. It was probably just a nocturnal animal. Great to know that the dog announces though. This was at like 12:30 and I was out quick. I only have a few more weeks. I hope the cannabis gods are with me. 9/18 Whatever is eating my plants (earwigs I assume) are progressing from lower secondary or tertiary branches and new shoots to small buds. Looking at trichs some plants look ready. One seedling and the blueberries. I'd like the blueberries to go longer but I'd risk losing them. Fungal and mold issues aren't the greatest either. I was hoping for a big swell but if the weather stays raining and foggy like this it might be better to harvest a little early. I got a second opinion this morning and I'm leaning on taking the seedling and at least the one blueberry with the worst damage that dropped most of its leaves. I'll see how the bottom branch smokes this afternoon and make my decision then. Didn't feed for fear of lockout or if decide to cut. UPDATE: After the second consult with a different local grower I decided to harvest the blueberry that was furthest along and dropping it's leaves. It was done. Luckily it had been flushed with all this sheet rain we've gotten. It rains hard as I speak. Last year I think I had two strings the length of the huge garage and that lasted me all year. This one plant took an entire string to itself. If the weather cooperates this will be a good day. I also flushed the mystery seed I was going to take hoping it might fill out but trichs are very Amber and the bud is DENSE. Not risking mold or insect damage or theft. This took hours to harvest this ONE Blueberry plant. I had to harvest limbs. This was when I could see damage best. I also am curing the buds from the lower branch I took earlier and the other bud that is done. I plan on testing it out tomorrow. I could smoke now but Im already burnt and tired and want to try this with a clear head. I can't believe how long this took. One Big and one little down 10 more to go. Phone died so I couldn't take any pictures.

A very cool strain to grow 😀👌 4 on 4 germination rate gave me 4 nice and robust plants. One plant was taller and different from the 3 others one. The red one was a real beauty 😍

This week all three plants were transplanted and introduced to nutrients for the first time in their lifecycle. All three plants are growing in organic soil and are fed organic nutrients.

I am very proud of this girl ! Despite the fact that she is younger than the rest by two weeks, she caught up with her friends in height and even surpassed them :) The giant fan leaves are surprising 😃

Originally the right plant was stunted and I was concerned that topping it would stress it too much. As such, the left plant was topped during early veg but the right plant was never topped and it shows. The main cola on the right plant gets more ppfd (around 1000) than the left plant so I’ve been bending it down once or twice a day so that maybe the left canopy can catch up. Are there any other techniques I can do to my plant (2nd week of flower) to allow the canopies for each plant to be equal? Last week I did a very light dose of bloom and they responded very well. I will continue to supplement lightly until the sohum soil prepackaged nutrients run out. I would imagine it will be any week now that it’s depleted? I am very happy with the grow so far since it’s my first ever real attempt. Other than the right plant getting shocked from the living soul or overwatering the grow has been going great! I can see baby buds and pistils forming! 😀 So excited for the day I can open the tent and get bombarded by the smell of the buds.

Growing was quiet hard as it just wouldnt respond will with training technique such as super cropping she hardly stretched when switched to flower and grew slow during veg but can not say till I do another run and do things different and as it was my.first time also growing from clones

Lemon Cake & Lemon Drizzle Week 9 6/2-6/8 Now at the start of week 9, my outside gals, except L. Cake are now in flower. This is the first week I’ve had to add nutrients to her feeding. Some lower leaves were yellow. Since I’ve been using amended soil, this indicates Opium is a heavy feeder. Nutrients in soils are used up and she is starting to use her own food sources 5 gallons well water TPS1 60ml used 1 gallon per plant =12ml Cal-Mag 25ml used 1 gallon per plant =5ml Recharge 5ml used 1 gallon per plant =1ml Signal 1.25ml PPM 1414, PH 6.93, Temp 82.5 Note I do not have to PH adjust my well water. However, our city water comes out of the tap at 8.2 ph so I must PH down using the hose or my inside grows, ============ Germination April 6. Vegetation Week 1 water only Week 2 water only Week 3 added recharge and TPS1 increased ppm to 570. Week 4 continues with recharge and TPS1. I added Fox Cal mag increasing ppm to 685 - 805. Week 5 TPS1 9ml/gal Recharge 5 ml/gal Fox Cal-mag 5 ml/gal Week 6 5/12-19 Moved outside in 5 gal air pots receiving rain and well water. Week 7 5/19-25 The Lemons received rain water for the last 2 weeks. They love the natural rain and sunshine evidenced by vigorous growth. Week 8 5/26-6/1 Drizzle is in flower, stacking buds along the stalk that reaches 38 inches. Cake is still vegging at 28 inches. Day 31: 2L (PH6.3) with 1ml/L PK13-14 She's definitely well on her way to stretch, and some of the bud sites are already showing signs of consolidation and an increase of mass, not so much as to call it stacking or bulking, but a great early flower nonetheless. To aid with bud forming, I've started mixing in some flower nutes. I'm starting at half dose and will probably follow up with a regular watering later this week. Additionally, after taking the pictures, I removed the upper fan leaves of the main cola and the next highest too since it was outpacing the others. I'm trying to not agitate her too much to prevent stunting. Since she's grown so much, the main cola was receiving 900 PPFD, and the lowest canopy budsite - in the front on the pictures - was receiving about 450 PPFD. Hence, I raised the light up to 30cm above the main cola. I haven't remeasured the PPFD afterwards. Day 34: 2L (6.5PH) + 0.5mL/L CalMag

Germination (4-6 to 16-6) White Widow - Green House Seeds Co. Genetics: Brazilian x South Indian. 25.76% THC, 60% Indica, 40% Sativa. Flowering time: 8 weeks. I chose this strain because i bought it alot in the coffeeshop in 2018, nowadays the White Widow tastes nothing like how i remember it to be. So i decided to grow it my self. I read somewere that Green House has the most original genetics and its the seedbank where i am the most familiar with so thats an easy choice! 4-6 Today i put 2 White Widow seeds into a wet coffee filter to germinate. 6-6 After 48 hours the 2 seeds are ready to be put into a 0.5L pot filled with some Plagron Lightmix. The lightmix has some nutes for the first 3 weeks or so, i will feed nutes when i transplant them into 18L AutoPots with 70/30 Coco-Perlite. I made a feed with 0.5 gr Calcium and 0.2 ml Rootstimulator per liter. EC: 0.4 PH: 5.8, and watered the pot a bit. I let them stay in the dark untill i see them above the soil. 7-6 After 24 hours they are above the ground and i removed the plastic foil covering the pots. 8-6 Temperature: 19.5 to 24.1 degrees Humidity: 41% to 70% Watering: 20 ml. 9-6 Temperature: 18.8 to 23.4 degrees Humidity: 62% to 74% 10-6 Temperature: 19.4 to 23.9 degrees Humidity: 60% to 74% 11-6 Temperature: 19.4 to 25.2 degrees Humidity: 43% to 71% Watering: 25 ml. 12-6 Temperature: 21.2 to 25.4 degrees Humidity: 44% to 60% 13-6 Temperature: 22.2 to 25.9 degrees Humidity: 44% to 71% Watering: 15 ml. 14-6 Watering: 60 ml. A week later and today is the last day of the germination phase. They are starting to grow faster from now on.

It's been 28 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. These were only 2.5 weeks and I started noticing some frost. Next week I will be able to tell more about what these custom bred seeds will be like. I love how the smell is changing now. Didn't want all them to smell like nuken marshmallows lol. It's awesome that I can get right inside the tent to do any work i need👍. Even if I wanted an 4x8 tent. Afghan was a beaut and she would have stayed up longer if the rain had let up. The denseness of her buds is what we admire although it is also why she started to rot. The scent of her is strong and mouth watering. Overall we would grow her again outdoors, this was a strange year with the weather and it is unfortunate but we are quite sure every strain would rot just the same. Hopefully next year has a better balance but that is the way it grows outdoors. As for curing, it was not typical for us at all. First she was washed but Afghan was not trimmed nor was she properly managed, she hung for six days and went in a paper bag for moisture redistribution way to late. Aside from that we had to use a triple beam for an estimated weight and we were unable to get a wet weight so please take the number and outcome lightly. Bone dry does not mean she won’t be enjoyed, she will be made into hash and or edibles.
