I notice her Ovules are very large in size. Quite unlike any plant I have seen before. I don't know if this is a 'primative' strain but it's quite unusual. So far: 147g wet Day 77 - Staggered harvest started. When I see a couple of amber trichomes on a bud I will harvest it and leave the rest. Day 84 - The other colas are getting there slowly. I don't know if it is the heat stressing her out 30 c in tent. We have a heatwave here right now.... Day 84 - 2.11g dry ground up Day 89 - 1.72g dry ground up Day 91 - What is left of her. She looks a mess lol. Day 94 - Final harvest trimmed up and drying. Final dry total to follow in a few days. Day 100 - Final weigh up. Well we got 72.46g on the scales today. I never did wet weight after the first harvest so dismiss that. In total I got 74.57g. It is a very small harvest for me but I don't think this plant has the genetics to be a big yielder.000

We’re really entering the final stretch now, Growmies. The buds are dense, frosty, and looking properly mature from a distance; exactly the kind of sight that makes you want to grab the scissors already 😅 But the close-ups tell the real story. The trichomes are mostly cloudy, with some clear ones still mixed in and not much amber showing yet. So while the plants look almost ready, they’re asking for a little more patience. The Northern Lights are looking especially strong: dark, frosty, and stacked with chunky tops. The Critical is fading harder and still has that limey colour going on. At this stage, I’m not going to panic-feed or chase perfect leaves anymore. The best move is to keep watering consistent, make sure pH is in range, avoid overwatering, and give only mild, balanced feeding if needed. No drastic corrections this late in flower. My current guess: around 7–12 days left, depending on how fast the trichomes turn. I’ll keep watching closely and aim for mostly cloudy with a small touch of amber. At this stage, it’s really just about not messing it up now 😂 Stats so far: 💧 Watering: Every third day 🌡️ Temp: 26–28°C 💦 Humidity: 65% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.18 kPa 💡 Light: ~700 PPFD

Very easy to grow and forgiving, they both would take big feeds and weren't upset by high EC. Lovely dense nuggets, some had taken on a purple hue. All dripping with Trichomes and potent turpenes. I can't put a finger on the aromas but there's an old school skunky smell in the background. Completely changed from the early stages of flowering. Very smooth to smoke and reasonably potent. I'll definitely be growing this again and it's my favourite strain of this run. Good work Sweet Seeds, Sweet Gelato is a winner for me!

Pests The amount of sciridae increased a lot (as expected, because the population should be about to collapse), but I also noticed that they were being accompanied by exactly 1 premature spider mite (drop in RH). Because my environment seemed to fall out of an equilibrium, I thought about using fine quartz sand (0.1 - 0.4 mm) and nematodes to hinder the adult Sciaridae from laying eggs and also actively hunt for their larvae, while being able to get back on watering regularly... In the end I actually ordered those - but decided not to use them because the process of drying out the substrate was already in its final stage [foreshadowing: bad idea]. Plants Also, the variegated plant got cellular damage... most likely because my temp. and RH varied too much (VPD and temp. spikes were too extreme and rapid). [Variegated plants in general are less resilient and need a more stable environment]. Setup Until now, I didn't use any fan so that I could keep the moisture and temperature up, but from now on, I will start to activate an exhaust fan at about 0,5 -1 air exchanges per minute. This should homogenize the environment but also decrease the temp. by 1-2 K, and the RH yet again by another 10%. It also allows the plants to transpirate more efficiently, and with that, normalize the VPD. Living Soil In general, when the pests are in control, I will yet again focus on the 'right' environment rather than battling those pests. With this approach, I can keep the moisture content in the tent the way I want to without worrying about anything else.

Exclusion Zone and Coherent Domains in water, broken down into layman’s terms. Imagine you have a glass of water with tiny particles (like dust or dye) mixed in. Now, put a special surface—like a gel or a hydrophilic (water-loving) material—into that water. Next to that surface, a layer of water forms that is totally clear. All the particles and dye are pushed away from it. This water is not just liquid; it has changed into a structured, gel-like state. So, this is my first grow, just starting out. After NJ passed recreational weed, I was like you know what... Went on an amazon spending spree and got some seeds from cropkingseeds and this is it! I let the seeds soak for 18hr in deer park spring water w/ 1 drop of Organic Liquid Seaweed and Kelp Fertilizer Supplement by Bloom City. At the end of soakage, it didn't look like any had cracked maybe one did not so sure. So I did up the papertowels according to the video and have to say I feel a little nervous/anxious that there is too much water/weight on the seeds and feer drownage. I'm going to keep it on there though. I check the towels a few times throughout the day and am surprised they're very moist throughout the day and next morning still somewhat damp. 24 hours in the towels I check my babies and one had cracked but the rest were still sealed up tight, unwilling to share the goodness that we all so desire, cmon babies crack that shell for papa! 11/12 looked like 1 seed popped, yay! I remoistened towels a bit but didn't wanna soak them. I also put some rapid rooters in water to soak overnight gunna throw the seeds in them in AM... I was going to do it tonight but figured I should wait see if some pop out more. 11/13 OMG upon checking seeds at 07:10 I found the papertowels like bone dry OMG WTF!!! Panic sets in but I just set up the little terrarium with 6 plugs and put the seeds in and tore some plugs off bottom of a plug to cover seedhole with. 11/14 Got a sprout! YES!! The plugs look nice and moist just going to let it go! 11/15 Woke up this mornin, saw a new sprout peeking thru and then another about to! I got ansy and took off the little top plugs and found all the sprouts were coming up! Leaving the top plug off, hopefully thats not a bad idea.

This week was a battle...lost power for 3 days in the beginning of the week. N the humidity was a 96% with cold temps in 67°...once the power came on made some adjustments. Didn't water them for5 days . Removed all clovers n alfalfa. Removed all fan leaves affected by the high humidity. And cleaned up the area abit...the temp n humidity are now at a steady 74° n humidity at 47%..they healed up nice . And watered them and they began to bloom some more...I harvested the super skunks autos as they wer just about done. N good timing too. Helped reduce humidity in the tent....they are currently drying n will update on how well the harvest went.. n for these blueberry 420 they still need more time. Will update on how they finish up

shortest plant is 50cm tallest being 95cm. They are all doing wonderfully, most of autos are budding nicely and all of the photoperiods are ready to flower. looking very promising. i am changing my light schedule to 14-10 to kick these girls into flower.. this will give the plants an extra 17% (or so) a day under the lights.rather than 12-12. i cant be fussy as i only have one grow space but if my research is correct these should grow beautifully! the autos are well ahead so shouldnt affect my harvest weight too much. like i say i cant be fussy! thanks for looking

Another hands off week with the Christmas festivities taking up most of my time, shouting praise to the Autopots and automated controls for keeping the girls happy and fed while I was on and off away over the week. Nice to settle down for a week of vacation, and to start it by opening the tent to see big ol' shiny buds staring back at me! They seem to just keep swelling and packing on the trichomes. Smell in the tent is strong sweet berry with skunk. Did switch up the nutrients a bit, ran out of B52 and Bud Candy so am supplementing with some Nutes Nutrients Microbooster. Very similar composition and so far the plants don't seem to be complaining. Just cruising these girls to the finish line, will break out the magnifier this week and take a good look at the trichomes to try and guestimate a timeline.
