As you can see from the third picture on day 29 she is looking a little ugly and unkept. I'm not sure if this is a normal thing or something I need to take action on. Advice would be great. So day 30 rolling around. Decided I had to try LST again. She felt more receptive to being bent over today as well. I mainly had to attempt it for space reasons. With the current covid panic all the markets where I buy my buckets from are closed and I can't procure a new one to increase my height for probably a couple of weeks at this rate so LST was my only option. She seems to have taken well to it and I will upload a finished picture of her shortly. Day 32, watered and fed her. 500ml of water plus .3ml each of fox farm trio. Hoping to see her perk up a bit. Concerned about the large brown spot on one of her leaves which made me think she was having a deficiency? Probably a bit early to worry about buds fattening up also but I am worried they are looking a bit airy at the moment on the non main cola sites. I'm not sure if my LST was effective at tricking her into trying to have more than one top cola? Day 33. No noticeable gains today, at least to my eyes. I can spot a little nute burn perhaps but hopefully nothing too serious. Looks like a cola that isn't the original top is starting to fill out just as much, if not more, than the original top though. Hoping they all catch up at a similar pace to each other and reduce the pop corn nug potential! Day 35. She has shown a few more bud sites since last post. I am worried that she is going to produce a fair bit of larf/popcorn bud and wanted to know how to get rid of that? I am not confident to remove any growth without knowing for sure it has a beneficial impact on the overall health of the plant and the final results. Any advise is appreciated. She also seemed a bit thirsty to me. The leaves were feeling a bit thin and dry so I gave her 1L of water with .7ml each of fox farm trio. Hopefully she responds well. I will check her in an hour or so to see if the leaves are starting to point back up - fingers crossed.

Hey I topped them for the 2nd time today and tied the main shoots down a bit. 😊 I think she will cope with it. I'll leave her completely alone for a week now to see if she has slowly recovered from the accident 1 week ago. ❌I have a huge problem with humidity. Maybe someone can help me and tell me how to regulate the humidity❌ PPFD- 705 DLI- 46😵‍💫 Normally I would like to see a 40 DLI but that's not possible without getting below 700 PPFD

The tricomes are getting more and more the microscope says that there are still about 10-14 days left. 80% are milky a couple are amber the rest are still clear. The Pineapple Express scatters a wonderful smell of freshly cut pineapple - simply a dream - I am looking forward to the first taste test. Now we wait for the required days but first there will be an update next week as usual. Thanks for the stop, everyone stay clean and remember to stay high. 15/10 - Bit of defoliation to open her up and remove some stacked leaves. Didnt take a whole lot but its made a decent difference. I think that'll be the last cut before harvest bar a few which have been hit by the cal lock. Next grow I need to figure out how to access the back of the tent, because at the moment its impossible without fucking my back up and craning my neck. Got would I could back there but could def be better. Topped up with plain water as shes drank 10l over the last 2 days. Not seeing any more rust spots forming so hopefully the cal lockout is fixed. Shes starting to smell quite strong with notes of citrus and shes sticky as hell. 17/10 - EC plummeting again, 10l drank over 2 days. Topped up with water and 3ml CalMag, 5ml Grow, 10ml Bloom added. 18/10 - PH has remained stable overnight after the top up. I ended up doing quite a bit of defoliation today, again opening her up and removing problematic or shaded leaves. Always amazes me how much plant matter can be removed and yet she still ends up looking super dense. 20/10 - Full res change. 5ml CalMag 10ml Micro 5Ml Grow 45Ml Bloom. 1.15EC 6.1PH. 21/10 - PH dropping much more slowly now, so in a good spot. Continuing to take the odd leaf here and there to help light penetrate and get them off bud sites.

Decent little stacks starting to form. Awesome aroma. Good frost production. At this point I was falling in love with the strain just due to its propensity to be grown under less than epic conditions. They took to the scrog nicely, despite the looseness of the trellis.

My Rainbow Melon plant is thriving! It's the second biggest in the tent right now and growing like crazy. The smell is still amazing, too – a really sweet, gas aroma that fills the whole room. I'm excited to see how big those buds get! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

Hello Diary. The second week of flowering is behind us. I did a little defoliation this week, I honestly didn’t dare remove more leaves and branches, I didn’t know how they would react to it. Maybe I needed more? The temperature is still high, sometimes rising to 29, 30 degrees, but mostly around 28. Humidity in the air is an average of about 55% but sometimes rises to 60%. The problem is frequent rains this summer which creates high humidity in the air and this affects the humidity in the box as well. The flowers are developing nicely, and they have started to smell as well, but let the pictures speak for themselves. The plants are big for my conditions, the 120 x 60 box size is perhaps too small for three plants (two Hulkberries and one Green Gelato), so the real jungle is in the box. It’s already a challenge to take them out every week for a photo shoot, but I try to be as careful with them as possible. The Hulkberry has reached a height of 113 cm which is on the verge of acceptability. If it continues another ten cm, I’ll be in trouble because the lights can’t lift more than this. 18/07/2020. - Day 30. Defoliation. I removed the leaves at the very bottom of the plant to make it easier for me to water them, after that I watered the plants but this time I didn’t put BioBizz, I just watered them with clean water. 21/07/2020. - Day 33. Watering. This time I gave them BioBizz, on schedule for the second week of flowering. I also added CalMag 1.5ml / L, preventively. While they don’t show they’re missing anything, I’ll keep adding CalMag. 23/07/2020. - Day 35. Photography and height measurement. Today we turned the Scorpion up to full power and raised it to 38 1/2 inches above pots and getting a reading of 520 - 530 par ! gonna let the babies grow into the light now over the next few weeks till they hit into flower an keep a steady eye on it Incase I got to raise the light higher or lower !! Air temp an humidity has been great , stayin from 70-75 degrees through the day an humidity is staying around 58% ! So far so good Let’s grow lil Babies let’s grow!!! Ok so Day 39 they are now watered daily.I gave the girls a haircut and really didn’t want to but I add a scrog net to spread these ladies out bit more.I do not prefer to use a scrog as I like to keep my pots on wheels and spin them around to check them out and also watering is a pain with the net in there.I also top dressed again with Gaia Green Power bloom only this time.Watered with recharge and a dose of bud candy.Next week I will start the Plagron and hope to see some really nice buds :)
