The third week has been an explosion of growth. The last two days, (day 20-21) have been growing like crazy. Excited to see what happens in the following week with growth vs the plant getting ready to flower. I’m thinking I will see pistols any day now. LST has been a great success. Pulled plant down at third node. Took the training very will and was fully rebounded by the next day. Second round of LST I was a little rough and broke off the largest fan lead trying to open her up to get another spike in. Currently she has three stakes in pulling her down and directing a stem in the opposite direction. I think that in the next few days I will be applying around 3-4 more stakes pulling more of her nodes apart. I did a very very light nutrient fertilizer this week because I feel like she is starting to get all the nutrients from the soil. The fertilizer was essentially all CalMag, mykos, great white and humic and fulvic acids. Her color is great and growth is really taking off. Next week will be a nice feed of black strap molasses to feed the microbes. PAR at the top is 430

The Mendo Frost continues to impress with exceptionally thick, heavily frosted buds covered in a dense layer of trichomes. From a maturity standpoint she is essentially finished, but I’m holding off on harvest due to the current heat wave and waiting for cooler conditions to ensure a proper dry. For now, it’s all about preserving quality and letting the flowers sit a little longer until the weather cooperates.

Shes actually already pre flowering the bud sites are already purple so I'm super excited to see how dark this one gets. I've seen this variety almost turn black it's so dark purple. You walk into the back yard and it’s a straight face punch of smells. Looking like some indoor rn moved all plants to safer place in case storm hits so now I atleast have a wind break

Weekly update: August 6th Looking great, major spurt of growth on both girls, #1 (sativa leaning girl) had major final stretch to end off stretch in 3 days (hopefully). And #2 (stockier indica leaning pheno) has had a big increase in flower size in 3 days which is promising, and is also producing a very sweet and tropical fruity gas smell, this is TCP after all! Oh yea and I’m running about 1700 center 500 outer ppfd and tapering down if I see anything but nothing so far all good nice genetics, may drop in the next week even if no signs or symptoms, to prevent and not be too greedy. Now for the not so good… been getting 10% runoff almost every feed, but my runoff of #1 was 3500ppm and pH 4.5 and #2 at 5000ppm and pH 4.5. Been giving around 850 ppm input at pH 6.0, never went over 1000ppm input. So I have to correct with 25% increase in feed volume, 300-400ppm input at pH 7.0 for what I infer to be 2-3 feeds until runoff ppm is significantly lower, and pH is at least 5.5. UPDATE Aug 8: To address the toxic/locked-out root-zone I did a regular feed with runoff (1.5 gal total volume per pot @ 820ppm bloom focus), runoff consisted of pH 4.2-4.5 and 4000-6000ppm... OUCH. I then fertigated with 0.5 gal plain pH 6.5-7 dechlorinated tap water each. I repeated this a total of 3 times, to which the last flush had 3 ml/gal cal-mag. final runoff ppm @ 1000-2000, pH 5.3-5.5. To conclude, I more than likely wasn't achieving enough runoff per scheduled feed, and did not cycle a few plain pH adjusted waterings. I had almost the same thing happen last run with autos, except they were showing signs of lockout, these photo girls are not. I must do a regular watering every 3 feeds, achieve 20% runoff with high ppm feeds, and 15% runoff at least with mild to moderate ppm's. Lesson learned, I hope I get a full run in the future without hiccups like this. Las plantas muestran buen aspecto Comentaros una curiosidad. la nº3 creció como diploide y después de cortar el apical y bifurcase en dos una de las ramas tendió a Triploide, tan solo una de las ramas, la otra rama es bien diferente, ni tan solo salen dos ramas por nudo, ni tan solo seria una diploide convencional. A finales de semana volvieron a bajar las temperaturas en el exterior y se hizo algo mas complicado mantener un buen ambiente. We started the week happily, with good temperatures and low humidity. The plants are looking good. Here's an interesting tidbit: plant #3 grew as a diploid, and after I cut the apical bud and it split in two, one of the branches tended towards triploid. Only one of the branches, though; the other branch is quite different. It doesn't even produce two branches per node, nor would it even be a conventional diploid. At the end of the week, the temperatures outside dropped again, making it a bit more difficult to maintain a good growing environment.

Now it resembles yoghurt or slightly sour milk crossed with fruit. Not an unpleasent smell by any means just unusual. That’s the calcium + nitrogen backbone for the feed. Step 2 – FERMAKOR PK Base (Part B) 15 L water in the main barrel → added 30 ml FERMAKOR PK Concentrate, mixed well. This forms the main P + K part of the formula. Step 3 – Combine Solutions Slowly poured the Calcinit mix into the barrel while stirring — no reaction, still crystal clear. That confirms the mix is stable and precipitation-free. 🌿 Step 4 – FPJ / FFJ Batch Added 30 ml homemade FPJ (fish + veg batch) ≈ 1 ml/L. Color shifted to a light-amber tone — looks alive and active. 🍋 Step 5 – Citric Acid Balance Added 1 tsp citric acid after everything was blended to fine-tune pH and help chelate micros later on. 📦 Step 6 – Top Up & Check Filled to the 30 L mark with plain water → pH tested with drops, showing yellow-green — roughly 5.8 – 6.0 range. Moved the SCROG net up a bit as I'm running out of bending space and the plant growth seems to have slowed down. Removed more leafs under canopy. Pulled the light up a bit. Increased the watering a bit as the soil is starting to dry up almost daily. So far so good with the overall plant health, let's see in the coming weeks what issues start to pop up :D I removed the fly traps because they were starting to touch the plants but I will likely have to add another one in some better position.

I believe I caught the deficiency just in time before it caused more stress. The leaves haven't returned to their normal color yet, but new growth has started again. It might take a day or two for the lower shoots to fully recover and begin stretching. 9/21 Next morning, the plant seems to be recovering and growing again. The fourth set of leaves has clearly separated from the third, which were previously touching. It will be a full 48 hours today at 12:23 PM since I fed the Home Cultivated Microbes. I'm eager to see the side shoots catch up and grow faster now. Fed on 9/19 at 12:23 PM — first signs of recovery showed about 6 hours later.

Week 4 update! 🌱 Week 3 is done, and the ladies are now three weeks into their flowering phase. So far, everything has gone really well. However, one bud and the plants in the front showed slight signs of potassium overfertilization, which likely caused a calcium uptake issue and led to minor necrosis. No worries, though – today I completely flushed the entire system and replaced it with a fresh solution. With this reset, everything should be back on track 💪💧. On top of that, I decided to bring out an old Cree& Osram LED lamp as a booster. This will provide the two smaller front plants with more light intensity so they can metabolize the higher nutrient levels more effectively 💡🌿. Everything is looking great so far! Kein Grund zur Sorge – heute habe ich das komplette System gründlich durchgespült und die Lösung durch eine frische ersetzt. Mit diesem Reset sollte jetzt wieder alles reibungslos laufen 💪💧. Außerdem habe ich beschlossen, eine alte Cree& Osram LED-Lampe als Booster herauszuholen. 09/21 Got hit hard with a storm last night had em knocked over a couple times had to pen em against the garage to keep em up. They are definitely leaning and looking beat up one top branch broke off big pot. The smell is loud this morning though not both the small pot just smells green to me and not really terpy the big pot though at several feet away u can smell a sour milk kinda funk and as u get closer it gets sweeter and on a nug rub it's super sour and candy funk love it. I'm buying bamboo today to build support around em to finish the season strong hopefully went ahead and fed em both 1150ppm. 09/23 watered both this morning 09/24 fed em both 1150ppm 09/25 watered both. Gonna start letting em drop before watering to give a little sprout stress in the last couple weeks. Plus they should start drinking drastically less now. 09/26 got home from work to both of em being droopy so fed 1120ppm
