She is really blowing up! I'm looking forward to having some chery coca-cola sized colas haaha. I will be sure to include a bottle of cherry cola as she gets closer to finishing! Shes got lots of energy still and is very green despite bieng a few weeks into flower! The overall size of the colas and plant itself already exceeded my overall expectation. I highly reccomend this based on the simplicity. She takes a heavy feed well and I havent sadly been able to take the best of care for her as I would of liked to. She is still stretching as far as I know as well. Its pretty impressive to see that in some autos as it's a definitive trait I see in photoperiods. This lady has at least 2 to 3 more weeks I believe. Week 18 Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙 🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants Flipped to flower on a 12/12 light schedule. EC dropped slightly to try and reduce any major stretch. These plants should have been lollipoped last week before putting them into a scrog but unfortunately I was unable to, so I have to remove the Scrog to make it easy to lollipop and then place them back into a Scrog once lollipoped. When the Scrog was placed back on it was more for support as I'd already built the structure of the plant the prior weeks. Although a few lanky branches did get bended back over. Another Scrog layer will probably added later in flower for further support when buds start forming.

Week 3 of flower has come & gone without too much stress. Gave the ladies a big last defoliation to help with light penetration and airflow at end of week as they were pretty leafy Runoff was a lot lower than feed so have upped the nutes for this week. Blumats got blocked and have been a pain so whilst I'm not too busy with work over holidays will just hand water them. Motherplant of this clone didn't give same buds as a clone. Shame I don't have mother plants anymore. I would recommend Durban Poison for everyone, I guess more people should feel this strain. This is my favourite sativa from 2019!

Day22 Minor lst but that’s about it. She’s doing well and I just chopped her sister today, this girl and a few more left of this cultivar. Thinking we found the keeper already but only the cure will tell for sure.

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. We have gone a little lighter in coloring again but I am adjusting lighting a little more on her and defoliating a little but so she can use her energy in places she needs too.

Let's talk about our Jealousy girls from Zamnesia Seeds. We have one Jealousy (1) at 15 weeks and another Jealousy (2) at 14 weeks. Jealousy (1), nicknamed 'the first,' has been on a water-only regimen for two weeks now. For the past three days, instead of regular watering, we've been adding ice to her pot to give her a little stress. Meanwhile, Jealousy (2), or 'the second,' is still enjoying her nutrient diet with TDS at 1800 ppm and pH at 6.2. However, Jealousy (1) has started showing signs of yellowing leaves and around 30% of her trichomes have turned brown. We're planning to harvest Jealousy (1) by the end of the week on March 3, 2024. As for Jealousy (2), she's still growing strong!

Big Bitch Downunder 19th April 2024 11 weeks of flowering finished 😀 The buds are fattening up nicely now and are covered in big trichomes . The smell is getting better and better every week and I am anticipating a fantastic sativa harvest. As usual cheers for stopping by 👍

Day 50 since seed touched soil. They overgrew everything !!! Bomb is heavily packed, top bleaching. I think i was late with top up, they developed fast and used a lot. I check run off for ppm, but thought 800 still ok, it was not. So big last top up !!! ALL NUTRITIONS ARE GRAMS TO POT LITRES !!!! Neutralise is in real measurement only. Great White - 3 g each pot Biosys - 3g each pot Charge - 30 g each pot Life-Cycle - 60 g each pot Bio-Blend - 100 g each pot Watered straight after, 3.5 liters went in. Some girls are almost brushing Mars Hydro TSL2000 and i see no issues if air is moved and temp with humidity allows it. Great light, plants grow very well, too well ;)))) will do new clearing after two waterings, want girls to eat first, make bigger roots, then i will resize again to concentrate more on tops. MARS HYDRO TSL2000: 300W, Flower 2'x4', Veg 3'x5' It's recommended for beginners. Low-budget & high-efficiency. Took down first time ever LST while still growing. Needed space of pot, for last top up and i think they will breath better without, branches are stiff, i would add silica to feed at such time, to stiff them, but i go with one line only, just full beans ;))) Happy growing !!!

if i grew this again i'd make a mother plant, take clones and veg for short time and flip sooner then I did this round. Although people say lec 315 can be 18 inches from canopy (exactly where the platinum yeti was when finished stretching) the trichomes were just milkying up at day 66 of flower prob can run this one a little longer then i did to increase yield a bit more to allow buds to fatten out more and go more to amber trichomes. Smell: Gas ⛽ on jar opening.
