Day 49. Experienced some deficiencies this past week but I've upped the nutrients and I'm gonna see if that helps. Still seeing a lot of growth. Did another defoliation. DLI is still at 45. PPFD 610. Plant is still growing and roots are bigger. I'll count this as a win for now.

These are the Epic Genetics Strains, we have some problem on the begging many mutants and seeds that don't came out, but we get to safe 1 epical widow and 1 Spigol Field, the second Widow on the pictures is the one how after let grow the second leaves, stop to grow up and separate in two for alone, bit know is getting the flowers directly for the stock, crazy because they smeñl fantastic and are complete frosty but they will not become to big.

02/02 - Day 30 Like clock work, wk 5 is here and flowers are growing everywhere. Growth is still going strong with (A) leading the pack along with (B) & (D) not far behind. Noticed a little tip burn but doesn’t seem to be spreading. 02/05 - Day 33 The girls are still showing explosive growth and putting out more pistils. A little concerned about (B) bright green leaves and (D) having some spots on an upper leaf. Maybe some light stress? Raised the light as high as possible, definitely going to LST for an even canopy next time.

sorry for the late update the farm dog went missing a couple of days b4 my weekly visit to the pot patch. I spent the entire week looking for her. We did eventually find her exactly 1 week after she went missing. plants are doing well. 3rd week into bloom did a bit of house keeping on the interior of the plant. no big defoliations though I dont believe in that on outdoor plants. not a hint of PM and very very strong branches now thanks to all the foliar sprays with Silica.

Welcome back to the conclusion of the Lemons! Day 56 from seed on the dot and these two girls came down, which is crazy fast! I had originally planned to let these girls run for another week, but the stem snapping on LP#2 put an end to that as she wasn't recovering well by the next day and I thought better to harvest now. The trichomes are in a good spot anyway, so I don't feel like I've lost out at all. The wet weight is good, but massively inflated due to the stems, so I expect to lose at least 75% of that, but I still think these girls yielded reasonably well. I like to dry in 2 stages in order to slow down that initial dry as the humidity is naturally quite low here. By leaving the stems and most of the leaves until Stage 2 I can control my dry time a little better. I leave the buds on the stems until they go into jars. There's no hard rule to how long I leave between stage 1 and 2, it depends entirely on how a particular dry is going and I judge it as it goes. Dry took 6 days total, trimmed large leaves at day 3, the rest at day 6.

Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!

Filling out the trellis net. Looks like another 2-3 weeks until I flip the ladies. Using SST’s, LABS and natural inputs for this grow. I have made some mistakes in the past using Organics, but have figured out HOW to use them for an entire grow. The vegetative state, I have never had a problem with. The transition into the first 3 weeks is when I have had the most issues. After a little research and testing, I finally have a basic blue print of how to feed plants in flower for 10-12 weeks now or shorter. Mark Bowell from Perfect Gardens on YouTube and Mr Canucks Grow from Canada are my largest information inputs. Final Thank you to Mr McGooz for keeping me in the know. 10-11: yes, some of the stalks are turning purple. This is not due to phosphorus, magnesium, or any deficiency. It is due to the light being too intense for the plants. I am at the max distance and running the light at 30% ( it’s a 600 watt 🤣🤣). Soooo yeah, that purple is going to stay for a bit. Purple with other leaf discoloration or senescence IS a problem, purple stems with NO leaf issues isn’t serious issue. Cant it be fixed? We are going to find out….Photosynthesis Plus will be on hand in the next 5-6 days. This permits the plant to USE more of the photons ( yes, I have carbon in my media). This should minimize the purple and allow me to UP THE WATTS 🗣️🗣️ 10-14: spoke to my “guide” and we made the decision to go ahead and flower these ladies. We saw how much stretch there is to be had and realized we are currently filling the trellis by 75%. We are estimating the entire 4x4 area to be completely filled. I defoliated and pruned the smaller sites off the lower areas of the plant. Not quite lollipopping, just selectivity choosing sites to keep and bones that will get in the way. For transition I am using a ratio of 1:1:1 on NPK’s to ease the flip. The ppm’s will be between 750-800. Once we reach early flower, we switch the NPK’s to 1:3:2 ( flower girl by Dr Earth OR Fish bone meal and langbenite). I switch each feeding between the two for 5-6 weeks. At week 7 we switch to 0:3:3 ( seabird guano and Langbeinite) at 500 ppm’s. Week 8 the same feed. Week 9 kelpseaweed/water Only ( these are 10 week cultivars). Thank you for taking the time to read. 10-16 😍😍😍 Plants are starting to show deficiencies!!! Yes, normally one freaks out 😂😂😂 The slight deficiency is a sign that I can go ahead and start: The Flowering Cycle. When using Organics, you have to use your eyes because nothing is specific. Meaning: you have to see when the amendments are running out to A: Top Dress B. Make compost teas. We are going the compost tea route for flower. I made a video showing exactly what I use. The ratio is 5-5-5 ( yes earlier we were going to use 2-2-2, but we found out there is no calcium or magnesium in the all purpose mix by Dr Earth…another reason to learn to read your plants).

These are doing pretty damn good for the most part. I figured out with the green buzz the only thing in bloom that raises ppm is the base bloom and the more PK which is good to know. Also been using lower ppm for the autos and they seem healthier than usual. These pics and the video were taken on Day 36.

Okay. So I just transplanted her into a three gallon, but she only has two and a half gallons of soil.. She also got her first taste of recharge. That will help with transplant shock as well as recharging the microbes... So i'm expecting a good little boost in growth and the next three or four days... This girl has had a rough start. Just like many of us, but she is persevering, just like many of us as well.. big thank you to my buddy @Grow4releaf for shooting me the seed .. my man ... i hope everyone is doing well.God bless and happy growing ✌️

Animal Mints — Week 11 (Week 6 Flower) “Legends of the Frozen North” 12/12 from seed — no traditional veg phase. A direct transition from seedling into flowering rhythm. This run was never about controlling the plant. It was about creating the conditions… and letting the plant decide the rest. ⸻ 🌱 How did we get here — 12/12 from seed From day one, these plants were placed under a 12/12 cycle. No extended vegetative phase, no shaping beforehand. What you see now is the result of: * Early root establishment * Immediate flowering signal * Structural decisions made by the plant itself This creates a different type of growth: Less stretch chaos, more compact intention. Not bigger plants — but often denser, faster-finishing expressions. ⸻ 🌿 The Room — Controlled, but not forced At first glance, some parameters might look “unusual” for this stage. But everything is dialed based on leaf feedback (EPD) — not charts, not assumptions. * Temps: 26°C day / 18°C night * RH: ~60% * Solution & substrate: ~21°C * PPFD: plant-grown into the light (~600–700 range) We don’t chase numbers. We read the plant — and adjust only when she asks. ⸻ ❄️ Trichomes — The “Frozen North” is real This is where she speaks loudest. Trichome production is not just present — it’s accelerating daily. * Sugar leaves fully coated * Bud surfaces stacking resin layer by layer * That early frost has turned into visible density This isn’t just aesthetics. This is the plant investing heavily in protection and reproduction. And she’s not done yet. ⸻ 🌸 Pistils & Flower Development White hairs still active, still pushing. That tells us one thing clearly: ➡️ She’s still building, not finishing Calyx swelling is underway, but not peaked. Structure is set — now it’s about mass + resin + final expression. ⸻ ⚖️ Weight, Structure & “The Lean” Branches are starting to give in to gravity. Not collapse — commitment. This is the moment where: * Density becomes visible * Structure gets tested * Support decisions begin No stress signals — just natural load from proper development. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition — Simple, consistent, intentional Current feeding: * Terra Bloom * Pure Zym * Sugar Royal * Power Buds * Green Sensation * CalMag Pro pH ~6.5 | EC ~2.0 Nothing excessive, nothing reactive. The idea is simple: ➡️ Feed enough to sustain expression, not to force it. Stable input = stable output. ⸻ 💡 Under Canopy Lighting — Why it matters This is where things get interesting. Under-canopy lighting is helping: * Lower bud sites stay active * Improved light penetration in dense zones * More uniform development across the plant Instead of larf, we’re seeing usable structure deeper into the canopy. It’s not about pushing more — it’s about unlocking what’s already there. ⸻ 🧠 Observations This phenotype… has personality. * Slightly dramatic structure * Heavy resin production * Compact but expressive Not the tallest. Not the loudest in height. But easily one of the most present plants in the room. ⸻ 🔮 What to expect next week * Continued trichome stacking * Calyx swelling becoming more pronounced * First signs of pistil transition (some darkening) * Increased weight → more need for support We’re entering that phase where daily changes become visible. ⸻ 🙏 Final Words To everyone following this journey: * The OGs who’ve been here from the start * The new eyes discovering the process * The skeptics, the questioners — always welcome * The silent supporters * The platform for hosting this space * The sponsors and partners * The genetics behind this expression And of course… the plants themselves. This room is alive. And we’re just here to witness it. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal.
