We're having a big freeze in the state and they are asking us to conserve electricity, so I didn't add extra heat to the grow room. Plants still expanding though, so this is the last week of vegetation. The ScrOG is almost full, so I expect it will fill in during the first couple weeks of flower. Changed the lighting to 12/12 on Day 48. Bought the Clone Master 25 to take clones of these 3 plants before they shift to flower. Took 3 snips of the 3 different strains. Going to play with clones a bit.

Got some Homemade Maui Juice fertilizer

This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

Chopped the last of the Bruce Banner daughters today at day f81 and this one was a doosey!!! Huge colas, will be a massive harvest at well over 7 ounces dry. I know some growers like @DabbyStickyfingers have the ability to pull much bigger yields with much smaller autos on their very first grow, so I will check to see what I am doing wrong. 6 plants, all above the 150g mark will meet my goal, so this harvest was a success. 2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one is budding up nicely, but the taller one is still stretching. The short one looks to be considerably more indica than the other. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

Not much to say about the GG#4 at this time, will update in about two weeks with dry weight/flavor/smoke info. Overall I am happy with this strain and how it grew. Update June 19, 95 grams dry bud. Very impressed with the bud size, density, color and stickyness. First smoke impression is hints of fruit and citrus, sweet aroma and flavor. Very mellowing high, just feel like relaxing on the couch with a large pizza lol 😁

We skipped a week of documenting, life got in the way.... She wasn't a big plant, we expected her to stay small after topping at the first node like that, it was a nice little experiment and i'm glad we let her grow, she made for a nice little side stash and break from the strain we've been on ... happy growing everyone!
