Update 14/11 - plant has now dried for a week. Will wait for branches to snap and start jarring After 2 days of darkness. Plant was wet trimmed loosely and chopped as a whole. Currently hung up to dry for the next 7 ish days. Nice looking colas this time around :)

Days 120 - 126 (from sprout) 9/20/24 - 9/26/24 The Good Shit - week 13 of flower and trichome heads are looking far more swollen For IPM I sprayed existing mulch layer with tweetmint, followed up with topping all pots off with build a soil 3.0 and forest collected IMO's - fungus gnats almost completely eliminated overnight Pots were cover cropped with build a soil seed blend + grape tomatoes, oregano + thyme, snap peas and napoli carrots Fingers crossed harvest is on the agenda for this lady next week

The plant has become really massive and the fruity smell it gives off is perhaps one of the most pleasant I've ever smelled. The plant drinks almost 2L of water per day. I changed the fertilizers by removing those not strictly necessary for the flower's energy, in order to make the plant use the vital lymph of the leaves, which will lose them further favoring the growth of the inflorescences. At the same time I added ADV Overdrive, a magnesium, phosphate and potassium based fertilizer which stimulates the weight gain of the flowers. For the hundredth day I decided to make a video, I'm definitely satisfied! I expect to cut the plant around the 10th week of flowering.

The plant is doing very well is filling up with flowers everywhere and it has a fruity skunky smell to it very nice I can't wait to see it fully developed . For now not much to talk about her except that she's doing pretty good developing good and very fast thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

day 35. feb 19- been slow to update, scrog was plonked on top of plant as it showed signs of height becoming a ptoblem given the other 3 plants. seems to have stalled a bit this week after application of screen but after 4 days she seems to be back in business allbeit slow in comparison to my bubblegum which was started at the same time(see other post). nutrient wise im trying to follow the bio canna schedule which is designed more for soil than my special mix which i added a BIT of soil to, as such it likes to drink a litre seemingly every 4 days. contin7ing to interchange nutes with fresh water but also not wanting to flush too much of the goidness out. 1l of nutes then ill follow with 300 and 300 ml of fresh ph'd water. also given the fact the organic nutes ph themselves in my mixing jug, im wondering what happens when i pour acid ph-downed water to my pot.. wonder whether it better to just give pure distilled at ph 7 than take water from 7.8 to 6.2 using acid to then feed the plants. *shrug*.

I could moniter the humidity through my Inkbird humidity controller.

12/24/2021 So far only one male has been identified. Glad I just reviewed my video I didn't even notice how light green #3 is, guess I mix her nutes up separately and see if she just hungry? Or naturally lighter than others. All other plants are using coast of Maine mixed into soil (her too) so I'll give her a little mirimichi 901C this week and see what happens. 12/30/2021 Noticing that there is two distinct differences between these girls, color light green and dark green.#1,#3,#8 are light green and #2,#4,#5,#6,#7 Other than that there very much similar growth and node spacing, little differences but very happy with uniformity.Both light green and dark green maintained their magenta petiols, gonna make notes on stem rub notes next week and see how they will compare.

Week 7 of flower in the books and we’ve had to adjust to the height issues in an attempt to salvage what we can of the largest mains on the cheese. Really should’ve done this 2 weeks ago and while it’d be preferable not to supercrop this late in flower - there really wasn’t a choice. It was done early in the week and the plant is none the worse for wear. On the whole, the nute burn issue has been rectified and while the damage isn’t massive, it’s still really obvious. For all the above reasons, We’re really not going to get that late flower look with this plant. Kinda sad there. Otherwise, the plants have begun to colour up and were quickly coming in to the harvest window. At this rate it looks like the gorilla cookies and cherry Bomb will go off first, with the cheese to follow and the lemon haze last. The GC is absolutely covered in trichs. We expect a great finish for this one. She’s unlike any pheno I’ve seen on here - ducksfooted with a pineapple shape to her heads but again, got it where it counts. The cherry Bomb is similar but also true to her description - huge cherry diesel scent coming off this plant. She’s chunky and sticky too so very pleased she’s made something of herself. The lemon haze is developing And rounding out slower. Trich production is moderate and I suspect she’s got a week longer than the rest. We’re getting there - maybe a week to 10 days. Almost time for jazz hands👍😎. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Namaste This week was awesome. Finally dried and jarred the harvest from the two smaller girls. 23 grams in total. Nothing to brag about but it is all mine. And booooy she’s kicking. Very pleasant smoke and 2-3 hours of intense high. Cooking last night was adventurous haha! The remaining lady has swollen big time, the buds are heavy and dense despite of some foxtail. I give it around a week to be ready. Have a happy grow!

Journal de culture - Semaine 3 de croissance La plante a bien repris sa vigueur cette semaine, développant une belle masse racinaire, ce qui est très encourageant. Elle continue de se développer et je m’efforce de la maintenir la plus basse possible en utilisant des techniques de Low Stress Training. J’ai essayé le pinching, qui consiste à pincer légèrement les extrémités des branches pour les courber. Cela permet de rediriger les hormones de croissance vers les parties inférieures, ce qui maximise le développement des pousses. J’ai également effectué une légère défoliation en enlevant quelques grandes feuilles superflues. Pour le reste, je surveille principalement le pH. J’essaie de le maintenir autour de 5.8, mais avec les tampons présents dans les produits Terra Aquatica, il remonte régulièrement à 6.2. Je me demande si ce pH légèrement élevé pourrait être à l’origine d’un problème de coloration des feuilles, car la plante semble présenter une légère carence malgré la présence de tous les nutriments nécessaires. Je fais attention à ne pas ajouter trop d’acide afin de ne pas surcharger la solution nutritive. Globalement, la plante est en bonne santé et continue de bien évoluer. Je pense passer en floraison d’ici une ou deux semaines maximum. Étant donné qu’il s’agit d’une variété Jack Herer, qui a tendance à beaucoup s’étirer en floraison, je préfère la maintenir encore un peu en croissance pour travailler tranquillement avec les techniques de Low Stress Training et la défoliation. On verra son évolution la semaine prochaine ! 🇺🇸 Grow Diary - Week 3 of Veg The plant has regained its vigor this week, developing a strong root mass, which is great. It keeps growing, and I’m trying to keep it as low as possible using Low Stress Training techniques. I’ve been trying pinching, which involves lightly pinching the tips of the branches to bend them. This redirects the growth hormones to the lower parts, maximizing the development of new shoots. I’ve also done a bit of light defoliation by removing some large, unnecessary leaves. Other than that, I’m mainly monitoring the pH. I’m trying to keep it as close to 5.8 as possible, but the buffers in the Terra Aquatica products keep raising it to 6.2. I’m wondering if this slightly higher pH might be causing some discoloration on the leaves—it feels like a deficiency, even though all the necessary nutrients are present. I’m cautious about adding too much acid to avoid overloading the nutrient solution. Overall, the plant is healthy and continues to grow well. I’m thinking about switching to flowering in a week or two at most. Since this is a Jack Herer strain, which tends to stretch a lot during flowering, I want to keep it in veg a bit longer while working with Low Stress Training and defoliation. We’ll see how it evolves next week! 🤘😎🤘
