Day 29. A bit of a slow grower but she'll catch up.

AK-47 Goxuak Autoflower by Genehtik is a truly awesome plant and really really fun to grow! My 1st thought was I wish I had know more when I ordered the seeds. I only bought 1 from the single seed centre .com 🤦‍♂️ Of all the plants our house sitters watched for us back in week 7, this is the only one they regularly ask about and want to know when its finished. Even they loved growing it! And they only spent a week with her and aren't gardeners 😄 Ashoka started in a Jiffy tomato pod and was transplanted almost as an afterthought. In fact we ran out of containers and had to improvise with the water pitcher. (We didn't have high hopes) Oops. The pitcher turned out to be a big benefit in that I could see the roots and diagnose and potential issues. She has been in the same Fox Farms; Happy Frog soil ever since planting the pod into the pitcher. The soil held up good too. Ashoka didn't start showing any deficiencies until the end of week 6, around the middle of her stretch. Correcting this was very easy, we added the recharge at first but it didn't quite do it. We had to feed her Advanced Nutrients Bloom and Grow for about 2.5 weeks. But this Goxuak really never complained : 1:😎 Low Stress Training (LST) for Ashoka was a breeze! At 14 days she was 4" tall and too short to train. She doubled in height in a week and we started training around day 24. Just in the nick of time too! She entered flower about a week after that and stretched like crazy!🤪 the AK-47 gave us about 3 full weeks of nice flexible branches to train before hardening up. We ended up with a pretty even canopy and some solid colas too I wanted to touch on the lighting as there isn't a lot of options on this platform. Ashoka spent her life under 2 different lights. 1st, she sprouted and spent the first 4 weeks vegging under 2x Viparspectra 600w(250 true watts) LEDs at an 18/6 light cycle. She finished her flower and fade under A Optic 8 (500 true watts) LED. At 18/6 At around day 60 I started flushing her.(well my house sitter Sam did the first time) We used Cyco Kleanse and flushed 5 Gallons thru her until the ppm was down to 350ish, I did the next 2 flushes. The 2nd I used Kleanse again getting the runoff ppm to ~120. Her final week I stopped ph-ing the water and just watered tap. I also gave her the 3rd and final flush with straight Ice cold tap water. She really showed a great fade!! Some buds definitely colored up too!! Finally the Harevst: I put her in a 5Gal bucket of ice in complete darkness for 4 days.😈 This was done with the intent to help her produce more resin and frost up. I can't say if it truly worked. She absolutely doubled the trichome production in those 4 days, but idk if it was the time or the darkness and ice. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I kept her in a sealed closet with a oscillating fan and humidifier at 75°and 63%RH. On the 3rd day I lowered the RH to 50%. She got trimmed and put into jars on the 5th day after harvest. I am monitoring the humidity and burping regularly (8-10x a day) Smoke Report: Creamy pepper with a cherry syrup aftertaste.🤣🤪 I've only smoked a bowl so haven't tested the ashes. But she is curing nice. A bit harsh yet I expect will go away after a couple more days. The high is perfect tho! Just what we wanted. It creeps up on u. But you will be confused by the time you finish the bowl. A very cerebral high(I chopped her whole trichomes were only 10% amber) that was great with good company. My girl andI are both veteran smokers, but this bud still made us both giggly(a rarity). It's a good social smoke and was fun to be on around others. The only downsides were it caused a mild confusion and paranoia. Like I would forget what I was talking about then worry ppl were laughing at me for it(they were though) 🤣🤣 I plan to report more feedback after it had cured a couple weeks. I'll invite others people's opinions as well. Right now I can definitely say the AK-47 Goxuak from Genehtik it an autoflower I would recommend to anyone, but especially new auto growers. I will be ordering more next season if they ate available. Genehtik has won me over. They genetics were extremely stable and safe. No herms no deficiencies nothing but greatness! 🌱🌱🌱 I had to share! I was looking on the breeder Instagram page( @Genehtik_chile) and they used a few of my pictures of Ashoka to represent their AK-47 Goxuak auto. I really feel honored by this. I have only been growing for 5 months and know I'm not good, but it's inspiring and motivating when the breeder of the strain give you an attaboy like this. Thanks Genehtik! Ellas dejaron de crecer y esta semana solo aumentaron 2/4cm en altura ,pese a que hace mucha calor ellas siguen floreciendo perfectamente,están comenzando a tener bastantes tricomas,ellas continúan demandado mucho abono,veremos qué tal empiezan la segunda etapa de floración,sweet seeds nunca falla

She is barely growing taller, which is probably fine, as she's mostly supposed to focus on blossoms by now. We're still feeding according to the full biobizz schedule, even though I am reading more and more often, that we might need to give a lot less.. but at least it doesn't seem to do any harm, so at least for this grow we just keep on following the plan. I am a little bit worried, that the buds are growing to close to each other. Also put the dehumidifier in the room, to keep humidity under control. Update: After getting feedback to our question regarding space between buds, we tried our best to gently bend some branches more towards the sides, as can be seen on the latest pictures I added. Still really dense in some spots, but partially also becauae of thw tight node spacing. We will maybe remove some leaves in these areas, but we do not want to stress her too much at this point.

Day 57 - Another week ended and another starting. She’s really filling in nicely now and I’ve gotta think the new nutrients have something to do with it. She’s starting to get kinda frosty now too. Probably won’t be needing any water until early next week but I’ll keep an eye on her. Day 58 - All is looking good still, will DEFINITELY need some water tomorrow. She’s actually starting to fill in nicely and starting to get a little frost to her. Day 59 - She’s doing really well but was definitely thirsty today. Had to give her almost 2 full gallons of water and also added the Advanced Nutrients to the water. I reached out to them to verify how often I should feed and they said every watering but make sure to have a 10-20% runoff each watering to avoid build up so we’ll see how it goes. So far this was her third feeding and hasn’t seemed to bother her and really likes it. Day 60 - Did a pretty decent defoliation tonight because I want the lower stuff to get more light. She’s a pretty bushy girl throughout so want her as open as possible without stunting her during the last few weeks. Day 61 - Since a couple of my young plants got destroyed by my cats and have a little more room in the tent, I went ahead and lowered my lights to about 12” above the canopy to try and get some mire intense light going. If I start seeing some ill effects, I’ll gradually raise them a bit. Other than that, she’ll probably get her next drink this weekend sometime. Day 62 - She’s looking great and starting to frost up nicely. She dried up a lot quicker than I was expecting so ended up giving her almost 2 full gallons of water tonight. The lights being at 12” seem to be just right.

day 1 - shes getting her sugar on the leafs now clearly and you can start to really notice her smell after just a few minutes of the tent being open. not too strong of a smell yet but there is still much time to improve, really happy with the bud developement so far!!! day 4 - trichome producktion is just kickin off since 1-2 days, love to smell her sweetness. stretch has come to a stop a few days also. day 6 - when i opened the tent today she was showing me her flowers big. there was a big diffrence visible for my eye from last open yesterday to today and i like it! the pistils on the main bud start to get orange color and the others also seem to get a few pistols with color totay!

Hello fellow growers! ✋ The first week of 12/12 cycle is a fact. I predict about 70 days of flowering. On the last day of this week I spotted the first pre-flowers.😶 I've started scrogging and the screen is filling up nicely. This strain is pretty easy for a scrog. The shoots are easy to bend. Furthermore, I've did some more defoiling on top and pruning under the screen. The temperature stayed between 19,7°C (67°F) – 24,6°C (76°F) and humidity between 39 – 53 % I have placed 3 new sensors in the growtent. The old ones showed wrong humidity levels. I was wondering why humidity levels were always too low, now I know why. 😃 I started the week with the grow lights at 78 cm (31 inches) and 230 watt and lowered them to 71 cm (28 inches) and 236 watt at the end of the week. The Runtz got 1200ml every other day. Twice it was tapwater with Canna nutrients (Ec 1,3 – ph 6,3) and twice pure tapwater (Ec 0,5 – ph 6,3). As a precaution, I've sprayed them once this week with CannaCure. This is a leaf nutrient that prevents and controls plant pests and mildew. That's about it for this week. Original Sensible Seeds White Chrystal Meth Auto 🔸🔸🔸04.20.23🔸🔸🔸 Day 38 - Above Ground 📝Sunday 05.28.23 - This girl is so stunted, but from where she was and where is now is pretty good, so I will keep her and let her be what she is, flipped the Smart LED over to the flower setting, it increased the wats a bit but the far red is going to be amazing! 📝Wednesday 05.24.23 - Besides being very small this girl looks pretty healthy, I would love more of these seeds to have another go at this strain, not sure if it ever recovered from the poor germination and remains stunted.
