Aug 17: she is looking happy at the start of the fifth week since I started force flowering. Buds are forming and everything is on track. Very nice plant. Aug 18: nice enough day after a small bit of rain early. Tops are progressing nicely. Aug 20: hot and sunny so extra water again despite some rain last night. Aug 23: added another Scrog layer. This seems like a really good way to stabilize the plant while holding things in place for maximum sunlight exposure.

D14 - The new #1 is looking way better than her predecessor, although she still has her seed helmet on. I've tried oh so carefully to remove it but no luck so far, and I'm afraid of using excessive force, so for now, it stays on. #2 is just trucking along, doing her thing. She is now 11 cm tall and 10 cm wide. I also removed her support as she is strong enough without it. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - Today, #1 popped out of her seed. Well, mostly as it is still stuck on one of the cotyledons. It's been over two weeks without proper watering, so the girls are getting a bit thirsty. The blumat digitals show around 115-120 mbar. I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - Not much to report as the girls are simply doing their thing. Yesterday, I gave each around 2 liters of the compost tea I started a couple of days ago. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. D20 - The last day in week two of veg. Nothing to report, really. The girls are getting bigger day by day, and both are looking healthy and well. The second girl already has purple leaf stems which I don't think is stress since she looks lush and vibrant otherwise. I guess it is her genes as this strain can turn purple. I have never grown any purple cannabis, so my fingers are crossed!

Last week of flush. Week 10 going to run last few days or week. Depending on trichomes. I think it's done now, but my older grow bro told me, when u think it's done, give it one more week. It does work to push it 1 more week. Smoother smoke and terps peak out.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 3 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster this week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also will be switched the light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of this week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 42" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 38" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. We did get an unexpected heat wave this weekend and it has been a struggle keeping the heat and humidity down but the flowers are just starting so no need to worry about mold or anything like that yet. As soon as this heat wave is over the temps should be good to go the rest of the way this is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. 08/29/2018 Been a hot week but the girls don't seem to mind,90s in the day 82° at night and sticky,muggy weather. Their leaves all pointing ☝️,lets me know they are happy ☺️ .watered with plain water they were pretty dry pots weight was very light. Will feed and water in in morning sleep well and medicated😎 08/31/2018 Just a note today #1 is very green compared to the other 4 plants, could be potted plants running low on nitrogen? My soil has plenty according to soil test. I know last year's crop in soil was pale like other 4 plants, maybe biochar is helping soil retain it's nutes better? Year 2 for biochar, first year could have tied up some nutes....hmmm? Ps Last feeding today Fox farms big bloom at heavy feeder dose 1/2 cup per gallon, should see nice gains this week! 🙏🙏🙏. Pss. G GTH #4 loosing her smells, #3 smells of Skunk and coffee ☕,#2 minty chlorophyll orange,#1 menthal,skunky but very lite scent. Should I pollinate a branch of each? Oh my God the pressure! Day 57 - Starting week 9 off with a gallon and a half of water and nutes today. She’s doing really well and getting big. Finally really starting to bud up a bit and not just pistils here and there. Not really doing any defoliating until she’s buds up a bit more but she’s getting there. She’s still stretching like crazy and when she seems to slow down, she gets watered and starts putting on the inches again. Day 58 - Didn’t really do anything with her today. Just took her out of the tent to give her a look to see how she’s doing. It looks like she’s definitely starting to bud up and should be an amazing harvest, when the time comes. Day 59 - Looking good and starting to stack up nicely. Still has got a long was to go but all is looking well. I did chop off a couple of lower branches that are completely covered and I’d rather her focus her energy on the ones that are getting the light. She’s gonna need some water again by Saturday. Day 61 - Gave the girl about a gallon and a half of water and nutes today and removed a couple fan leaves as well. She’s coming along nicely and buds seems to be forming nicely as well. Not really putting out much of a smell yet but hopefully she’ll starting frosting up soon so I get get a good smell from her. Day 62 - Not a whole lot new going on today. Removed a few dead fan leaves at the bottom and checked her out under a scope and looks like the trichs are starting to form. Day 63 - It’s the end of week 9 today and she’s drinking like crazy. Going to give her some more water and nutes tomorrow. She’s really budding up nicely and looking pretty damn good. The stretching has slowed down a little so hopefully she’ll start packing on some weight and getting frosty.
