We’ve reached the eighth week, and the plants continue to tell their stories. Two of them have revealed themselves as males, fulfilling their role in genetics, while the others keep growing vigorously. The dynamics of the garden change, but the journey remains steady and promising. During flowering, I stick to my consistent approach: I don’t change how I provide water and biofertilizers. I believe regularity is the key to a healthy and balanced transition. Additionally, I’m not a fan of heavy defoliation; I prefer to respect the plants’ natural rhythm, removing only the leaves that fall off easily, as if the plants themselves are telling me they no longer need them. Observing each stage of this cycle is an exercise in patience and learning. Each plant has its own personality, and watching them is like uncovering a secret only nature can reveal. I can’t wait to see how the garden will bloom in the coming weeks!

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. shortest plant is 50cm tallest being 95cm. They are all doing wonderfully, most of autos are budding nicely and all of the photoperiods are ready to flower. looking very promising. i am changing my light schedule to 14-10 to kick these girls into flower.. this will give the plants an extra 17% (or so) a day under the lights.rather than 12-12. i cant be fussy as i only have one grow space but if my research is correct these should grow beautifully! the autos are well ahead so shouldnt affect my harvest weight too much. like i say i cant be fussy! thanks for looking

// Day 91 She is getting there. The buds ware not fattening up as much as I wanted to but her trichomes are almost all cloudy and a very low minority is amber. So I guess I give her 2-3 more days and cut her down on friday or saturday. This time I try out the bro science: Befor cutting, I'll let her stay in the dark for 48h. So maybe I turn off the lights tomorrow until friday and chop her down. The bro science hypothesis is that the not ending darkness will give her a last stress which boosts trichome production.

Finally getting her dialed in, guess I better mentally prepare for flowering. *slaps face* All week I kept bending further down, any stem that shot up past a point where it could reach the next square across in any direction that needed to be filled, nice and easy. Tweak tweak tweak all week. Break Apical dominance In botany, apical dominance is the phenomenon whereby the main, central stem of the plant is dominant over other side stems; on a branch the main stem of the branch is further dominant over its own side twigs. Last week went good for the first week of flower, having trouble again with my ph meter....ughhh. Ordered 2 new ph meters this week, a decent 4 in 1 (ph/ec/ppm/temp) pen and plug in, 3 in 1 (ph/ec/temp) meter with leads to leave in my res(my second one for my second res). Also got more calibration solution, and storage solution. Sick of second guessing my crappy pens, gonna start fresh will all new ph equipment. Lol but she really started to stretch out this week, with the little amount of lst I did to her just before flip she has really bulked up and spread out. 10 days into flower now and she is still stretching and being tucked. I removed a few of the larger guard leaves up top to open up the secondary shoots to light, I have around 40000 lux at the first screen and they seem to be handling it nicely. I will be doing a major underclipping and removing everything below the first net in a few days time I think. I flipped this tent without filling the screen and I’m hoping to keep everything low and tucked until the stretch is almost finished, then let them bud up into the higher lux, hopefully keeping them less then a foot above the screen. 3/24: Got back last night from spring break. Plants looked a bit neglected, but kinda what I expected after a week of my absence. Me and my roommates had been gone for over a week so we had a friend water them and look over them while we were gone. Not certain how consistent temp/humidity/watering/nutes were but oh well, they don't look horrible. Plants had a decent amount of yellowing/dried leaves, but I'm assuming thats because of a heat wave we got earlier last week combined with irregular watering. Started snipping off a lot of that unhealthier growth last night, but got a decent amount of work left since the canopies are incredibly dense. If we reuse this same tent setup next year I think 6 plants max would definitely be more efficient for our light space. Super happy with how they're coming along but I think we have too many plants for our lights, and less plants would allow for more even canopy and light penetration, leading to similar yield and possibly higher average quality bud. Pretty difficult right now to get all the nodes enough light, but planning on probably using all the larf to make hash and eddies. Buds look pretty great though and leaves are starting to get sugary! Will upload more pictures later.

I fed the plants 75% nutrients for it's very last feeding although 6 or more leaves are showing signs of nitrogen deficiency but the buds are still growing, all signs show that I think they need 2 more weeks. Most pistols are amber, and a few new pistols still grow from the tops or sides of each bud. New sugar leaf growth on the tops look more rounded. The trichomes on the oldest sugar leaves have turned amber, less so on middle and top. Trichomes on the buds range from appearing clear, cloudy and milky, but not amber. I want the trichomes on the buds to be anywhere between 10-30% amber.

12.5.25: I watered with some more Trace again. She's feeding well and needs watering more often again. I upped the dose of Trace as I've noticed that there are some purple hues coming back on the stems. 13.5.25: I have removed all fabric ties on the plant. I think we have stopped stretching, so the sooner, the better. I keep getting my watering can caught in them all, and it was only a matter of time before I ended up snapping more branches off 😅 The fewer things in my way, the better 🤫 15.5.25: I watered today as the pot had dried out almost. The plant was watered with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with the following nutrients per 6.5 litres; ♡ 7ml Trace by Ecothrive ♡ 1/2 Tsp Sea K(elp) by Greenleaf nutrients The plants received the amounts below. HULKBERRY: 1l FASTBUDS: 2l NORTHERN LIGHTS: 3.5l I am not giving any further nitrogen at this stage. They had a couple of doses in the past week or so. I'm sure they don't need any more. So, I'm just using the kelp as it's packed full of goodness and high in potassium. I also suspect an excess of phosphorus. So I'm also leaving that out for the time being. There are still some red stems on the plants. added the Ecothrive trace for the last few waterings. I'm hoping it will resolve without any further intervention. 16.5.25: I watered FastBuds Mystery seed #1 with 2trs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with: ♡ 1/2 Tsp Sea K(elp) by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 7ml Trace by Ecothrive Measurements per 6.5ltrs. PPM: 670 PH: 6.4 17.5.25: I watered again today with 2ltrs of the above PH'D to 6.2. Parameters remaining the same. The plant is increasingly thirsty, so the waterings have again needed to be increased. As we're reaching deep into flowering, this is par for the course. I'm mostly using coco, perlite worm cats. Etc. So it's very easy for my pots to dry out. I need to keep in top of it. As the pots dry out, the microbes are lost, and so keeping everything moist and healthy is imperative. That's why I add Ecothrive Biosys regularly to ensure I keep up with the microbial life in the soil biology. To avoid PH lockout. 18.5.25: I watered again, with the same parameters as yesterday.
