After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

It’s hard to believe this amnesia haze is only in week two of flower! She is kicking butt and LOVING the HLG 550v2 as are her neighbors. I got a little stretch out of her but it appears that’s about it. The colas look like they’ll be about 8-10”. I moved the light down for a day and gave them 85,000 lux and while they are still reaching I don’t think they liked it as much as 65k so I brought it back up. I did take a few of her pie plate sized leaves of just to let a little extra light to the lower sites as well. Thanks for looking and happy growing!

⚠️ This is my worst week in growLife ⚠️ we started with harwest, cos i'v found a few days ago, first mites.. Actualy was too late, and only one option what can we do is - harwest. Ať the moment we are few days to go, but IF we gonna wait and grow thoose couple days until they reach 100%, mites gonna be everywhere... OHH YES, TGEY ARE KNOW AS Well, we already threw away 2 plants, cos two of them were totaly full with milion of eggs, everywhere, leafs, buds etc, that way we need to chop all of them a save Max as possible. This "grow school" - lesson, is pretty hard, hurts and of course -€ as well. Plants do need us every Day and, i need to read more again, i have to watchout them múch better. AT the moment we still choping, and yesterday we Just moved all of Tangie's in Tent 2,2mx1,1m, cos they need i think 2 weeks more. We gonna test and watchout strictly this tent... Thoose fuckin mites are everywhere, i found them in small tent as well, where we have automatics... 30/08 Les filles commencent a montrer leurs premiers signes de maturité sexuelle. Des que j ai un peu de temps je reorganise la tente avec un tri male femelle. Le plus beau des males et le plus odorant sera gardé les autres seront écartés.

Trichome formation starting slowly on all plants. Both forbidden cherry show hanging leaves quite often, but then recover. Stoll missing the purple coloration. In contrast the 3x auto blueberry and auto orange bud are quite happy, constantly. Auto orange bud is in the lead in terms of bud formation and developing well. Nice earthy citrus smell. It's the smallest plant, but beautiful. I could get the humidity down by going to 24/7 light and exhausting used air directly outside the basement window. Accordingly, I increased distance to light to axilhiece 400-700 ppdf, as DLI over 24h is almost +60 everywhere.. I am wondering if that's too much light, but so far they seem to cope. I prefer a bit of light stress over a too high humidity. I also intentionally went a bit higher with the sensi bloom to 3ml/l. A day later the plants are showing a deeper green but also slightly burned tips. So I know now that the 2ml/l (50% of recommendation) are just about right. I irrigate every 3rd day, alternating pure water (well, not entirely pure, I add bus Candy due to the magnesium) with watering including sensi bloom a and b nutrients

I've been away for a week, leaving my tent in the care of a friend. Coming back I was surprised to see how much bud growth has occurred, as you can see colas are really starting to stack up, and trichromes are already appearing. AK48 seems to have some purple coloration creeping in on her buds which is really beautiful, just hard to capture as my led throws a purple hue on my photos in the first place. Today I spent two hours trimming leaves from the tent and have kept the airflow at a healthy level. Happy at how everything is looking, and at only three weeks into flowering she seems really promising. Stay tuned!

Another week gone for this plant and she’s took really well to the training implemented last week. Knuckled both of the main branches last week and kept the biggest branch tied down ans as you can see she’s shooting up from doing so. Should get few more tops now and bush out. She’s come on lovely these past few weeks after mowing munched on by slugs and I personally didn’t think would recover from it but I was so wrong! Ones she gets strong again from the knuckling I will tie all heads down to get more light into the middle. Next time down will give her some bio grow but this week shes had plenty of rain. Been ate a little by slugs so put some copper tape around stem to help keep them off. That’s all this week happy growing 🌱

Sie ist 32cm hoch und die Pflanze zieht sich gut in die länge. Im Vergleich legt die Sorte einen starken Wachstumsschub hin mit längeren Internioden Abständen. Daher habe ich sie nach den Aufnahmen dann getopt. First topping 🌲☄️

After checking the grow yesterday (2021-01-01), I noticed some of the yellowing I've seen in previous grows that served as early warning signs for an impending grow failure. I checked my reservoir and found it was down to about two gallons left and the pH had shot up to 7.1. I then checked my AutoPot runoff in the tray and found it was at 7.2. I then took my Remedy CBD out and flushed it with 10 gallons of pH 5.8 tap water until the runoff measured about pH 5.8. The plant has been returned to the tray and the pictures you see this week are the following day and I'm continuing to measure at the tray more closely now as well. I've continued to pull off some of the larger yellowing fan leaves but, other than that, I've kept this grow as simple as possible. The flowering stage is continuing as expected and the pictures show about how far along we've come.

I transplanted all 2 inches of Miss Candy to a large raised garden bed and she has it all to herself. I wanted to give her roots plenty of grow room. The plants on either end of the raised garden bed are Citronella plants to help keep bugs away. I bought some Advance Nutrients Iguana Grow Juice so I could enter their contest. I chose the Grow Juice because it said, "Iguana Juice Grow or Bloom: Full-cycle base nutrition" and I wanted to use it the entire grow. This Grow Juice is said to be made by growers for growers so I am going to see how good it is. And, If you have been following me, then you know that I have only used FoxFarm Nutrients in the past. I am exploring a new nutrient, And, the contest specifically states, Whether you're a long-time organic cultivator or exploring organic nutrition for the first time, this is your opportunity to showcase the power of clean inputs." I will say it doesn't smell the best. We may to work on a better scent. However, my PH is great at 6.45 so that's that.
