Looking great and smells even better

This week has been cold in the grow room with day time temps at 16c and night time around 12-13c. Growth this week has been quite slow and I wonder what has the biggest impact on growth rate. Is it temperature, light intensity or soil moisture levels? I've had the light at 25% since germination and wonder if it would be beneficial to start increasing the light levels or wait until they're more established before doing this. If anyone happens to read this and has thoughts about how to encourage faster growth, I'd be interested to hear.

8/23 - End of Week 3. Going to start some top feeding at like half strength for the Fox Farm Soil schedule in next few days. Drinking well and consistently from the self-watering bases. Bugs seem to be under control but will probably add some bits to the bases to make sure the gnats don't resurface. Stalk is strong and looking good and a good amount of new growth after taking some fan leaves off yesterday to "top". CO2 levels looking a little better, opened another vent in the tent. 8/22 - Adjusted light down to 80% after getting a lux meter and checking the intensity. Soil PH is slighly acidic at 6.1. Got some phUp and phDown but haven't adjusted yet. Trimmed top 4 fan leaves to stall out the top stalk and open up the bottom branches a bit. Added a mushroom exhale bag to increase co2 levels, were sitting around 500 ppm before I added. 8/21 - Still drying out the self-watering base a bit, will add water today. Sides of fabric pot still a bit wet to the touch but I think that's just the active wicking going on. Thought the initial canoe'ing leaves were from overwatering when overfilling the self-watering base but now I think it has more to do w/ some shock from the thrips and 24 hour light, or perhaps a bit of sunburn from being sprayed w/ the neem oil / bug killer. 8/16 - Had to fight off some thrips and still dialing in the tent conditions. Might be a little overwatered currently.

They have all exploded with pistils this week! Getting excited to see these babies swell up with flowers! I love this living soil tent, it just does so much better than individual pots 💪

Big storms came by the whole week, had to hand pick dead leaves and every sign of mold I could see, I think the main reason for this is the re-vegging, the calyxes that are closer to the stem are already dying and the rains are not helping (precipitations are around 750mm yearly and just last week there were 300mm of rain). Wind broke a couple of branches but I just put them in the freezer for some fresh frozen hash

Sweet bourbon kush is ready to start growing. She is looking good under the SE3000 so far. It is a small potter grow in coco. So curious to see how she does. Nothing else to report at the moment. Agradezco a mi jardinero que no me atara las ramas, y me dejara formar mi figura modelándola sólo con la luz... Aunque todavía tengo las hojas manchadas del rociado con azufre de la semana pasada, ya no me importa, porque ha hecho desaparecer el oidio y las arañas, y poco a poco se irán limpiando, además, mis hojas no han vuelto a mostrar síntomas de carencias o excesos de nutrientes. Hoy mi cultivador me ha hecho un riego suave sólo con agua y un poco de melaza, que me ayudará a asimilar los nutrientes que se han quedado en mi sustrato de riegos anteriores. PH: 6.53. Cada día necesito más agua de riego, mi metabolismo está disparado!... I loved! 😍 Una mezcla de riego con ácidos húmicos y fúlvicos, fósforo y potasio (Humato PK) al 1,5%, Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA Basic), que ayudan también a acidificar la mezcla, al 1% y melaza para endulzar. 09/04/21 Hoy a sido el gran día, mi cumpleaños de 17 semanas, todas las plantas de la carpa estamos nerviosas, hemos pedido a nuestro cultivador una ducha de agua sobre las hojas para estar más lustrosas!! This week has been pretty good. Humidifier died on Sunday, picked up a new one and the temp rose to 79. Plant wilted for the first 8 hours or so and then settled into her new environment. She is sitting in a RDWC with a Liberty Haze that needed to get more nutes, so I bumped the nutes up to 600 ppm. She hasn’t missed a beat. So far this strain hasn’t given me any problems whatsoever. Knock on wood it stays that way! Slight smell coming off of her, no particular notes, just a plant smell. 4 nodes in and the 5th is sprouting. I’ll be topping and training soon!

She’s looking much much happier in flowering! I’m not sure how but I’ve grown her bigger than she is rated for maximum height. The end of this week she was 60” or 152cm tall, her rated maximum height was 39” or 100cm so I’m a good 50% taller than rated!!

Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. This soil has nutrients premixed into it. I mixed 320ml Organic Coop Poop 2-4-3, 160ml Espoma blood meal 12-0-0, and 480ml Gaia glacial rock dust per 32 gallon pot. The above listed nutrients, with the exception of ferrous sulfate, will be dry amendments premixed per gallon of soil. On day 3 I top dressed with ferrous sulfate monohydrate at the rate of 2.5ml/gallon of soil as listen in nutrients section. I didn't fill these pots above halfway with soil in the case we had heavy consistent rain. Half a pot dries faster than a whole one. I will be filling these pots completely as soon as these get more height and the rain lessens. Day 1 we had heavy dew and it was mostly cloudy. Day 2 we had a heavy dew in the morning. That afternoon we had cooler temps and intermittent rain that continued overnight. Day 3 was overcast with thunderstorms and rain that evening and night. Day 4 we had a rain shower late morning, but the sun came out mid day. Day 5 early morning 2-3 a.m. we had very heavy thunderstorm. The rest of the day was sunny and cool. Day 6 forecast was 5% rain that became 100% thunderstorm. There was heavy rain and wind on day 6 for about a hour from 9.30 a.m to 10.30 a.m., then a second round later that afternoon. Day 7 turned out very good. Lots of sunshine and a light breeze that'll help dry out that soil a bit. These soaking wet conditions we experienced this week are something cannabis seedlings survive with difficulty. I've found fastbuds genetics withstands these conditions consistently where other brands have total failure. We had a very successful week considering all of the difficulty with the weather. Fastbuds genetics have consistently withstood the harsh outdoor environment here in the Ozarks. These girls are pushing two inches and are thriving.
