Noticed either a Calmag defiency or PH swing in the rear plant. Have been addressing both this week. Lots of progress during the week and buds are building nicely. Lovely aroma when tent is opened. I think mid flower is my favourite part of the cycle other than harvest. Great to see buds stacking. Took netting out as these girls wont get any taller now and easily manageable without. I built a little plant hospital for the missus as we dont get much sunlight here during late Autumn and Winter. Should keep them topped up for DLI over the coming months. I love growing stuff.

Welcome to my Black Jack b sponsored by Sweet Seeds 2 yrs ago nearly. Veg Weeks & Pre/Post Pre Flower Weeks 7-9 She was really healthy during her entire veg period. Moving into pre flower she didn't do any excess stretching. Plant was doing very well moving into pre flower it took a good few weeks for her to flip but it was building up a good base up and down the nodes. I used plagron right through half of flowering possibly more. For the last 4 weeks I moved all my plants to Xpert Nutrients. MAINTENANCE I carried out a good bit of work making sure all parts of her was getting light (as much as she didn't get, it was more then enough to get A grade bud just like it was done under a 100w). I stripped a lot of shoots coming into & during pre fower. So when coming in to fattening all her energy went into making buds that were brought to harvest. Knowing light would be an Issue (lack off) i made sure to use all my skills to move energy through a plant. After pre fower was over (plants nodes stop growing up) and I left her a few days for the leaves to take in energy building stigmata. Then I done 10-15% defoliations for mid wk into fattening and beyond until I felt was enough removed (3-4 stages). Now on her last few days I took loads of leaves off to help ripening. She's 95% cloudy and 15% or so Amber. I had to give 10l of water to flush the nutes I had given her. 4l was given and ppm was 650. So I had to give another 6L to get the ppm down to 250 area. 3 days its been under light for 11hrs with 30m of UV-A doses from 65cm away (they are attached to my light IR/UV45) FLOWERING/RIPENING WEEKS Plant moved very nicely through fattening. Buds are lots but whets there is pretty darn good for been at the side of a FC3000 300w light in a 1m2 tent doing many other plants. And this been by far been under the best part of it. It sat on the outskirts as this fem is one of my 1st 5 I started together with 7 autos in phase 1 of my 6 phase crop with 10-15 plants per phase. Took (NUMBER 4 this 1 is). 14 weeks from seed. And she's been through a hard flush. As the last 4.5 weeks she's been on Xpert Nutrients. NUTRIENT GIVEN So I know tats a large list. But as I updated my a lot of weeks into 1. I left on the list what was given. All of plagron was given through most of the grow right through to the middle of fattening and then I switched it (all my plants to Xpert Nutrients bloom nutes). And even then, I normally give more than 2-3 nutrients in 1 feeding 2-3 day window. Its important tat a plant take up these as individual so I typically leave a few days or at least 1-2 water feeds (or low ec feeds such as an enzyme, or calmag to help break down any excess nutrients left behind from last feed) I added my SE5000 and have this 60+cm away just finish off the ripening process. 15.08 Day 22 Stretch is coming. 17.08 Mixed a new nutrient solution, optimized for flowering. Unfortunately, my tent got a bit flooded last Wednesday (13/08), so I’m still trying to find a better solution for handling the drain in such a small space. I even considered putting her into the big tent for now, just to be on the safe side.

Foliar sprayed with neem at lights on today. C02 has been increased to 800 ppm average, humidity lowered to 70%. Light power has been increased, now running at 35%. Amazing growth, finally removed all the rogue sunflowers as I didn't notice any significant gains having them. They're getting thirsty today but I'm going to give them another day, possibly 2, before I feed again. I'd like one last heavy wet/dry period for root stretch and then I'll go heavy with some organic nitrogen into flip. I can't use the same net as previous harvests because of the new room design so I'll have to create a new frame to start building the final even canopy. I'm fairly happy with how both groups of plants are growing into an even canopy within their expected timelines. Day 12 - Light intensity increased to 40%. Fed today, 1.05ec (6.8ph) with 10-15% runoff. No signs of light bleaching or stress, their leaves are almost always praying upwards. They could use a lollipopping, but with how quick they're growing I'll most likely wait until a couple days before flip to clean them up now.

We’re officially in the third week of flowering 🌸and the plants are starting to stretch more. The buds are beginning to form, but they’re still in the early stages. The yellowing I was seeing last week has improved, likely due to a better watering routine and nutrient adjustments. The plants look healthier now, and the buds are starting to develop that frosty look. Ec ~ 1.6.

11/10 Week 7 Long week Maggie is responding well to treatment, will continue until I see something that says its gone far enough. I know she needs defoliation but I just hate to take health(ish) leaves when its already stressed. Maybe next week air flow is good. May add some sulfer to the mix but keeping it as is otherwise, 6.8 PH, 1-2% H2O2 and CalMag in a day or two as she drys. Brandy... not sure it did as much for her but see nothing that says stop so will continue as the pot drys. Layla ya got me on my knees... shes my girl. lovely not perfect but has handled things that left other plants stunted and yellowed. Were she a photo I would have cloned her. Continuing feeding as I have, may add Karo may not, defoliation continues as needed. May this continue God willing and the creek dont rise. Last note - Raised the lights up 4 inches to 22" for better dispersal across the canopy now that its getting used. Think this strain likes that. 11/11 Looking better. Did some defoliation on Maggie, nothing stressing and mostly damaged leaves though some were for blocking bud sites Same on Brandy though less so. Picking up some chemical bloom nuets so I can continue lightly feeding them through these treatments, the organics are getting blasted by the h2o2 Layla looking her usual lovely self, buds building, her and Maggie get fed today, Brandy still too wet. 11/12 Brandy still not dry enough, may adopt the feeding I set out for Maggie below when it is time. Changing the treatment on Maggie, for one feed only dropping the calmag and adding two TBS of Epson salts , fish sh!t and recharge to get the bug healthy, and continue the cocotek nuets for the time being, it the only mineral fert I have, to the water at 6.5 PH . Believe the H2O2 has done all its going to do repairing the roots and now I can address the sulfur (i hope) issue. Plant is huge BTW so if I get her producing, yield is going to be huge. IF Layla just continue as before, the Dr Earth is doing a marvelous job of covering all the bases. Will absolutely use this when I go back to organics. Had to reset the lights again... Maggie :) 11/13 New Pics of Maggie as she is the only one causing me concern, no feed today still too wet Defoliated bottom 1/3 of Maggie getting rid of all unwanted under growth. Will continue as it goes. Large leaves looking normal now. 11/14 Feeding time: Maggie and Brandy - 1 gal at 6.5 1.5 TBS Epsom Salt (decided to hit the middle), 5ml cocotek A&B , 6ml Fish Sh!t holding the recharge for next time. Sie macht sich weiterhin gut und hat ordentlich Durst, ca.10l alle 2 Tage. Leider habe ich an manchen Trieben Zwitter Zeichen in Form von einzelnen Bananen entdeckt und mit einer Pinzette entfernt. Irgendwas gefällt der Dame nicht, hatte noch nie Zwitter Probleme 🤔

Day 42: Watered the plants 0.5L with nuts(same as nuts chart here), 824 ppm, 1753 us/cm, PH 6.4 All plants showing signs of Mag/Cal, P, N deficiency. Watered the plants on day 38 with half the nuts, and the 2 irrigations before that day, were only tap water, no nuts. Looks like they are growing very slowly... They aren't happy at all. All the leaves from bottom to top are turning yellow... some of them have brown spots. Seems like it's already mid or late stage of deficiency... I hope they recover!
