Looking good so far! - started to really tuck the branches under the net - on day 31 i did defoliation - probably will go into flower after day 34

Hi all. Here we are with a full 7 days behind us in flower. The decision to flip was a necessity so i am hoping to still get a hint of the terps and potentcy of the small ladies. Sweet Afghani is not looking too bad fornher size now , she has been stretching and trying to get her size to catch up. I dont expect a great yield from her at all. Red Hot cookie is still really struggling. She is trying but i dont think she will bring much to the game now. Her colour is an indicater of her root damage i feel. This issue with the NFT and root rot has given rise to another opportunity to try the new sp3000/out fully amd with a focus on the big soil grown Amnesia haze. Amnesia haze has flown during the stretch so far and still has a few days left to go with it. I have been training her flat amd now am close to letting her go vertical. She is approx 3ft across now with growing tips coveringnjer while frame. She has sent a few decent sized bramches to the top but these have been retrained again. Her stems are solid with a near perfect quad guiding their frame. She is in 60L of living organic soil and sips a good 8L per watering. I amended with the ecothrive stuff and also added another layer of manure mulch today as they are going to need a boost to finish the stretch. She is smelling nice and fruity now with a slight tacky feel to her stems too. She possibly has at least 50 tops that are in good light. By using the sp3000 amd sp250 in combination this way i am hoping to keep her well spread with plenty of high par for all the bud stacks i hope to see. I am impressed with this strain and will be growing it again sometime. The living soil is also proving a winner yet again for me. Until next week. Be safe and well.

February 14, 2019 update: I rearranged the plants to get better airflow. In the video I mentioned that I thought I saw what might be spider mites. After closer inspection, I don't think its spider mites but more likely a combination of left over damage from the fungus gnats that came in with my wife's plant a few weeks ago (now gone) as well as ph fluctuations. But I like getting airflow on the plants themselves anyway, I just wish the oscillation worked on the fan I have now. I'll buy a new fan or two with oscillation soon. Also I failed to mention it in the video but there is also a ceiling fan blowing down on the plants. Overall, I'm very happy. The DinaMed CBD+ has taken the lead in the bud development category, Nice fat buds that are very dense. Sticky and stinky as hell too. She is supposed to be somewhere in the teens for CBD percentage and less than 1% THC. I'm hoping she either comes in below 0.3% or has well over 1%. I'm allowed to submit for testing 3 weeks before harvest. I'm going to cut a mid level branch and submit for testing next weekend. My other DinaFem strain, Critical +, is doing great too! She's in the lead with the most trichome development. Her buds are coming along great also! Not super fat, at least not yet, but great shape, color, density and have I mentioned the trichome development yet? 👍 This one is supposed to have mild CBD, low single digits, but high THC. I'm looking forward to smoking this one! Next up I'll talk about my Cream & Cheese CBD+ from Seedsman. She's in the lead with just overall looking awesome!!! The buds are long and super healthy looking with tons of leaves along the branches and I've defoliated a few times. The remaining leaves don't seem to be blocking much because most branches are bent over due to the weight of the buds! She is supposed to be in the 20's with BOTH THC and CBD. I'm looking forward to smoking this one also! 💪 That leaves the 3 Cherry Hemp plants. They are the smallest 3 plants in the room, but are all looking very good as well. They look like they are in the lead with possibly being ready to harvest earliest. I'm seeing the most amount of darkened and curled in hairs on these 3. The largest/oldest of the 3 is starting to show fading on the leaves. She may be ready in the next week or two. I'm waiting to start seeing some amber trichomes, so far they are still all white. These are supposed to be around 16% CBD and less than 0.3% THC. I'll be taking these in for testing soon and will be using these strictly for making CBD products - Salves, Oils, Capsules, etc... I'll keep you posted on this. This week I fed MegaCrop and Cal-Mag Pro (both by Greenleaf Nutrients). I fed according to their feeding schedule for late bloom. I think I'm going to stick with Greenleaf Nutrients for the duration of this grow rather than changing it up as I have been. Its super easy stuff to work with. 👍

Eccoci anche qua all ultima settimana di vegetativa, la ragazza procede bene, anche se è la più piccola, sembra che stia tenendo il passo con le altre sorelle, magari è solo la genetica particolarmente piccola e cespugliosa, staremo a vedere, per ora sto andando leggero con i nutrienti, anche la c02 in pastiglie l ho somministrata solo per una settimana, perché non volevo che esplodessero troppo di vigore in vegetativa per non rischiare di avere delle bestie enormi che al conseguente aumento di c02 aumenta anche il metabolismo e devo fertilizzante il doppio per non avere carenze che mi portano in pochi giorni ad avere nevrosi delle foglie, se nn si sta attento e si utilizza la c02 senza avere gli strumenti che accompagnano questo tipo di compito, comunque basta non esagerare e controllare spesso le piante e se si nota una leggera carenza, somministrare del magnesio/potassio in più ad esempio, che è la carenza maggiore che ho notato quando somministra troppa c02 e temperature troppo elevate.. Bene siamo arrivati alla fine di questa settimana! Ringrazio Mars hydro e per l equipaggiamento professionale che mj permette di crescere le mie ragazze in piena salute! Hoping this will be complete in next 2 to 3 weeks. Than have to cure. Lower leaves have issues. Top leaves look good. Day 50 increased nutes to max 1.2ml each per 500ml water. Ph6.6. Watered 250ml to see any damage tomo. Run off from soil ph came to 6.4. Day 51 watered 250ml from balance Day 52 watered 100ml watered with nutes ph6.6 Day 53 watered 200ml from balance and lowered lights to 45cm from 80cm. Hopefully more growth tomorrow 🙏

Strawberry Gorilla Automatic - FastBuds Day 57 - watered with 500ml of RO tap water with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3. Considering her pot size, I'm seriously impressed with the size of bud growing on this plant!! She's so beautiful too, a full spectrum of colour, from her flower to her leaves👏🏻 She's also started to smell really good, because she's the only flowering plant in the tent right now, you just get a wonderful bang off it when the tent opens 👌🏻. Not much work on her again this week, just her second daily watering with 500ml 👍🏻

After so much tender loving care, I came home today to find how two puppies kept themselves busy while I was attending my daughter's graduation!! Evidently, Thelma and Louise had a blast digging a hole and uprooting my baby Strawberry Banana plant. But do not fret, for Susquihanna doesn't like to lose. So I put my Strawberry Banana back in place, filled in the hole and put another row of fencing up to protect my Strawberry Banana Plant. I am a Newbie, but from what I understand, Sometimes growers/contests are interested in seeing the good, the bad and the ugly. So, today is an ugly day with no new growth or excitement to report. I am hoping next week I will have a plant to report on. For now, enjoy my videos of Thelma and Louise playing; the double fencing that I put up; and pray for my dear little Strawberry Banana Plant--that she may come back from her listless life and THRIVE. 6/4/22 - 6/10/22 6/5/22 Today I tied Harlingen branches to the sides of the tote with pipe cleaners to open herup eve more andI carefully places lst clips to arrange her smaller branches outward.Excitedto seewhat growth week 8 will bring 😀 6/7/22 Zam got lst a few days ago and has really stretched the past few days. I'd say she is ready to kick her room mates to the curve. This girl is getting biiiiig. 6/8/22 Today my girl is really getting her stretch on ad lovinglife. Her root issues have completely resolved with her peroxide routine. (I cup in the tote Daily and spray roots with 3% hydrogen peroxide to control root rot and fungus gnats. 6/9/22 Not alot of change today. But man is she a doll 😍 6/10/22 Can't wait to see what week 8 grow will be like🤗

Last week of nutrients finished, plant will now be flushed for 2 weeks. Just had a harvest from another seed of this plant and we've decided to call the strain "Monkey Magic", as a few puffs will summon a cloud which whisks you away into the sky! 😀

24.02.24 - 1.03.24 Red hot cookies performing stunnigly as always. This is a true beauty and a wonderful plant. Very healthy and sturdy. Yesterday I already noticed some distinct candy mandarine aroma with some chocolate cookies mixed in. Lets hownshe develop those lovely colours ans smell. One of the older plants is already fed 7 times a day. Thats a record for me. In around 9l of coco.

Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).
