👉The daily routine of twice daily fertigation has given me a small insight as to what Phil Conners may have gone thru. There has been promising changes however that re-assure me that the plant is indeed maturing and will finish soon. The top leaves are starting to fade, and a couple of amber trichomes have been spotted! So far the amber color is light, almost yellow, and should darken up a bit by harvest time. At the rate they seem to be getting cloudy/milky I could be harvesting in as little as 3 days, but that is just wishful thinking I'm sure. I'm hoping no more than 10 more days. But I will let the plant decide...as long as there are only a few clears and the rest cloudy then I will harvest. 👉I took one small cola tip bud from an upper level, secondary branch. It weighed 30g with leaves, 10g trimmed and when dried to 20% should be 2g. I did this to be able to inspect the buds with a little more stability when using the USB scope. Those pix are the first 6 on this page. 👉Nutrient mix is the same recipe: week 11 on the General hydroponics flora series drain to waste chart. I reduced the concentration to 1ms from 1.3. The saturation level for the pot is averaging around 1lt per fertigation. I give it 2.5l at lights on, and 2L 1-2hrs before lights off. For some reason this grow session there is a persistent/prolific algea growth on the outside of the pot (cloth pot). I have the same fan setup Ive been using all year. It may be that when I didnt spray the pot off for a couple week the algea got a firm hold on the pot. I use a pressure sprayer with a H2O2 solution (1gallon water with 60ml h202) to spray off the exterior of the pot every couple days. THis keeps it at bay somewhat. After harvest I will cut open the cloth pot to see if the algea extends inside the pot any and if has affected the roots. 👉 While trichome hunting is very kewl if good pictures are taken, its very frustrating to get a decent pic due to any slight shake causes the pic to blur. When doing daily eye loop inspections I dont turn off the grow lights or fans. But when trying to get pix I turn off all the fans and both grow lights. This helps a little when trying to take pix with the USB scope.I have the small scope mounted on a tripod and that eliminate my own movement, but just trying to focus proves to be tedious because any touch causes the image to shake wildly, which results in very slow progress as I search around the plant and try for decent pix. Today I got a tube extension set for my 35mm DSLR. It turned my regular 55mm lens into a macro lens. While its not the same as a regular macro lense, its way cheaper....35$ for the tube set as opposed to 300$ for an actual macro lens. THe high resolution allows me to get sharp images with a deeper feild of focus than the scope. I still need lots of practice and need to work on lighting. I included some cropped and un-cropped macro shots done with the camera. The other macro shots are the USB scope. You can see its still got plenty of clear, lots of cloudy, and an amber here or there. The areas that I have touched have strands of resin that look almost like spider silk. SOOOOOO frosty! Santa is going to really enjoy his milk and cookies when he visits my house.

08/11: La troisième semaine de floraison commence enfin on devrait les fleurs prendre forme. Certaines feuilles se détériore à une vitesse folle, ainsi que des tâches brune. Premier réflexe GHE essential et cal-mag agent de Canna ce matin. Espérons que les prochains jours seront plus cool et que cela vas arranger mon problème. 08/13: après avoir fait plus de recherche je suis enfin tombé sur un article sur le blog de pevgrow et mon problème correspond en tout point à une carence en magnésium. Je devrais voir voir des améliorations dans les 4 à 7 jours. Et bien-sûr continuer à donner du calmag. Day 29. Garden is just perfect. Will update more after first feed, monday - most likely !!! Day 30. Its Jungle officially !!! ;))) Size of some leaves impress and gives big hopes for me a lot ! Girls are super strong and healthy, thinking to do defoliation session at the end of the week. First feed done ! Next watering they will get silica acid. Day 31. Plan change in feed, they got Great White Mycorrhizar tea, next watering will be without aditives and then Silica acid. Girls are very healthy, so healthy that powdery mildew not far away ;))))) had to take down loads of leaves to improve air circulation. Heavy defoliation for most big girls, all bottoms cleaned from weak branches, HST to all toped plants too... But size of leaves!!@!! All girls are very strong plants, really nice genetics from Zamnesia ! Happy Growing !

The plants have already been topped. Today, on 25-05-2024, two large leaves were removed, covering the sprouts. The LST was done at the same time.

Day 35 End of Week 5 Update: Had a bad week worrying about humidity. My dehumidifier broke so I was stuck until payday and humidity was out of control, night time into the the high 70's and mid 60s during the day. But despite that, thankfully there was no issues that came about like PM or funky mold or anything. New Dehumidifier is in and all is looking good Gorilla Cookies is definitely stretching out more than Strawberry G. The Strawberry Gorilla has more of a bushy tendency. I'm hoping she's just a late stretcher so we'll see 🤞 I started light defoliating and so far so good. I don't take out much and with the little I have trimmed there has been no sign of growth pause or stunting at all, they seem to be going strong so far. Happy Growing y'all!

Creo que mejoro bastante la vegetacion pero se nota que tuvo problemas a los inicios

Last week I finally did some lollipopping and defoliation. I had too cause humidity went through the roof and foliage was dense and wet in the mornings. Also fed with the amendment. 5 liters of worm castings, with bone meal, some microlife. Some bud growth started but also trichomes are forming and a strong weed smell is developing in the tent. The growth is far behind compared to the other two though. Not as many buds and the plant is overall more flimsy and has hollow stalks. The very slender leaf growth leaves me to believe that next to being the runt all the grow, the gorilla doesn't seem to enjoy the high feed environment. It also really doesn't respond well to scrogging, it keeps reaching for the light, It remains the odd one out in the tent. The buds are few and far between, I'm not very hopeful this one will produce the grams needed to keep my grams per watt score high. The other two might well compensate for it, we shall see. 🇬🇧 Week 8 ----------------------------- Blueberry Lime Kush by Terpyz – Outdoor Grow Update The outdoor grow is progressing slowly but steadily. This week there was a small growth spurt, and new shoots are beginning to form. However, it's clear that the conditions are tough on the plants the fan leaves are very dry and brittle, even tearing in some spots. 😟 So far, none of the plants have revealed their gender. We're still waiting to see whether they'll turn out male or female. Patience is key at this stage fingers crossed for lots of girls! Here in the region, it's still quite chilly, with lots of wind and low temperatures. Sunlight hours are also still limited. Hopefully, this will change soon as we move toward summer. Nonetheless, I’ll continue the outdoor grow without major intervention. 🇩🇪 Woche 8 -------------------------------- Blueberry Lime Kush von Terpyz – Outdoor-Grow-Update Der Outdoor-Grow geht langsam, aber stetig voran. Diese Woche gab es einen kleinen Wachstumsschub, und neue Triebe beginnen sich zu entwickeln. Allerdings merkt man den Pflanzen die schwierigen Bedingungen deutlich an die Fächerblätter sind sehr trocken, spröde und reißen teilweise. 😟 Bis jetzt hat sich noch keine der Pflanzen zu erkennen gegeben, ob sie männlich oder weiblich ist. Jetzt heißt es abwarten und hoffen –Daumen drücken für viele Mädels! Hier in der Region ist es weiterhin sehr frisch, mit viel Wind und Kälte. Auch die Sonnenstunden sind aktuell noch recht gering. Hoffentlich ändert sich das bald, und der Sommer kommt endlich. ☀️ Trotzdem werde ich den Outdoor-Grow weiterhin ohne großen Eingriff durchziehen.

Week 5 – Balanced Bloom & Nutrient Adjustment (16 Oct – 23 Oct) Budshot Betty keeps pushing forward in mid-bloom. The canopy is full and even, and the buds are starting to bulk up nicely. I kept the light at 100W / 32cm, which gives her great intensity without any stress signs. At the start of the week she received plain water (2.7 L) to reset the medium a bit and let the roots breathe. After that, I returned to her regular feeding but slightly modified the mix because I noticed a few small rust spots on some leaves. Since I can’t check pH directly, I decided to lower the nutrient strength by about 25% from the manufacturer’s chart. Current feed (2.7 L water): • Iguana Juice Bloom – 3 ml/L • Ancient Earth OG Organics – 2 ml/L • Big Bud OG Organics – 1.5 ml/L • CalMag (BioBizz) – 1 ml/L She looks healthy and vibrant again — the rust hasn’t spread, and the leaves stay strong and green. The buds are swelling, pistils multiplying, and the smell is getting more intense every day. Overall, a calm and balanced week focused on stability and prevention rather than pushing too hard.
