Hier een close-up van één van de buds in week 6 – kijk die insane trichome-laag! De hele top is bedekt met een dikke laag frost, alles glinstert onder het licht. Nog steeds voornamelijk groen, maar de pistillen worden dikker en donkerder, en er zit al een lichte paarse gloed in de calyxen bij sommige pheno’s. De echte paarse/blackout kleuren laten nog even op zich wachten, maar de resin-productie is nu al next level.
De bud ziet er super gezond en harsachtig uit – precies wat je wilt zien in week 6 van een indica-dominante kruising zoals deze.
Stand van zaken in Week 6
De 16 planten zijn in volle ontwikkeling en de bloei versnelt echt:
Bud-ontwikkeling: Buds zwellen flink op, calyxen worden groter en dikker. De toppen beginnen compact te worden.
Trichome-productie: Mega frost overal! Sugar leaves en buds zitten onder de hars – veel pheno’s lijken nu al harvest-ready qua trichomes (maar nog niet qua kleur/rijpheid).
Kleur: Nog grotendeels groen, met lichte paarse hints bij een paar planten. Ik hou de nachttemperatuur laag om de anthocyaninen te boosten – verwacht meer paars in week 7-8.
Aroma: Wordt steeds intenser in de tent: zoete druiven/bessen (Red Wine) met een gassy/funky punch (The Bird). Ruikt nu al als een premium strain.
Gezondheid: Topconditie. Bladeren donkergroen, geen tekorten, goede stretch voorbij, alles gelijkmatig.
Wat te verwachten de komende weken
Nog 2-4 weken bloei (afhankelijk per pheno: 8-10 weken totaal).
Buds harden verder op en trichomes gaan van helder → milky → amber (tijd om te checken met loep!).
Hopelijk meer kleurverkleuring bij de Red Wine-dominante pheno’s.
Beginnen met lichte flush richting het einde.
Conclusie
Week 6 is waar het echt spannend wordt – de frost is insane en de potentie schreeuwt eruit. Deze The Bird × Red Wine F1’s ontwikkelen zich prachtig, en met zoveel variatie in de 16 planten ga ik zeker een paar absolute killers vinden. Nog geen paars spektakel, maar de resin-laag maakt het al de moeite waard!

Day 73. Both girls down, smallest, slowest from all 6 strains that I tried. But it was a heavy push grows, were some girls didn't get best or even normal conditions ...
Day 82. Both trimmed and went straight to vacuum sacs.

This one's maturing extremely slow, but the buds are extremely chunky putting on a good bit of frost, and LOUD LOUD LOUD Candy Grapes + New Age Diesel/Gas Terps and it is screaming loud, the leaf rub results in a similar nose with a huge diesel tinge. This is definently a modern spin on the classic.
Amazing genetics, but the bag appeal on this Pheno isn't anything crazy!
Definnetly will give this another spin some time! I love the Terps on this.

All right here we are guys day 52 a flower 114 total I think I'm going to hit her with recharge one more time and the next day or so and then that's it water the rest of the way as I'm sure from top dressing there's still some nutrients making its way through the medium.. the nugs are starting to get rock hard and they actually are starting to smell like strawberries which is amazing.. as you can tell and as I've mentioned before I've done a ton of training to her she started her life in a bad home but we got her out of there at a young age put her in the right home and look at her go.. plants are a lot more like human than we know.. they're fragile when they're young like us then when we hit puberty it's the equivalent of them showing sex and that's when us humans stretch just like the plants and then we are considered adults where we are off on our own to produce our own fruits from our own labor.. the only difference between us and a plant is we devour our own fruit the plant feeds everything and everyone but itself.. we can learn a thing or two from plants.. anyway thank you WEEDSEEDSEXPRESS again for the opportunity I highly suggest you guys check them out God bless everyone and happy growing ✌️😎

went from 15 to 14 and
then to 12 h - after second defoil in a few days and a 24 H lightday after that.
250 Watt HDL reactivated. Now giving them 6h 240W LED (1300PPFD) and 6 h 250 W HDL (1400PPFD) with 1h overlapp.
Now using all of the Hesistuff like in the Plan : Root, Enzym, TNT, Phosphor, Bloom, Booster + Vitamins.
Dripper overwatered a bit - back to handfeeding it.
3 fat psydo main-Colas are growing well :)
plants seems happy with the haircut and the new lightsituation.
- the LEDS are not as good as the HDL , they make a bit more PPFD from distance, but in shorter range and with good Fans the HDL is way better for the plant.

AG#1+6 bolted to showing male sacs & were pulled from tent, guess I'm glad it happened before flipping to 12/12 (today), I'm pretty certain the other 4 are female. I wiped the tent down & water sprayed the rest of plants to be safe.
I did some more LST on AG#4+5
Plants seem to be recovering pretty well from the Cal-Mag deficiency, most burn is gone.

March 08 I left the air purifier on by accident again last night so there was a blue light overnight. The buds look good though. I taped the window up so I'm no longer having a humidity issue at night. I alternate between having the light on at 100% and 75% and recently 50% as well.
March 10 I just fed them Ph'd water with molasses. Runoff pH 6.2-6.5, ppm 200-600. I'm having trouble getting good shots of the trichromes but I'm starting to see more amber ones. Less than 5%.

Welcome to Week 9 of my white truffle grow!
In week 8 she stretched a little and the buds starting to develop and slowly bulk up.
I have to defoliate here and there but in general the plant looks healthy.
In this week you can tell that she's starting to develop her smell. A nice cannabis smell just like you walk into a coffeeshop. Buds bulking up continuously and the stretch seems to reduce in week 9.

An accident happened with the most beautiful large one while putting the main top inside was broken off. I have also had a lot to do with leaf miners. That's why there are some leaves off... This one is still slow so far, but I don't think that's crazy if it also has to recover from removing the leaves. The weather is also on the cold side. Wish me success. for a few more weeks. I be very kind for these ladies😁

For the first week of flower I only used the Epar boost for 1 hour at sunrise use and 1 hour before sunset. I know this should be done differently with independent red lights but I thought I would experiment. I do think this made the plant flip to flower almost immediately. The plant is looking healthy the plant for sure like the spectrum the UAP-1500 puts off. I’m a little disappointed in the genetics the plant doesn’t seem to have much strech in it or stacking ability. I’m sad my 2nd plant ended up being a male it was much larger

Nearing the finish line! OMG these ladies are blowing me away 😳 the Tricomes are carpeted, the buds are fat and dense. I’ve been. Tapering off all the nutrients and feeding ph’d water until I get 10-15% runoff from the pot to help break up the pockets left behind and to use up what’s left in the plant. Have some very distinct phenos, all of them are stellar but there are a few standouts… won’t be much longer 🇨🇦👊❤️

The Titan is growing as I had hoped. The many side branches are growing larger and in the center is a nice main cola. Beside the LST clips a few weeks ago, no more training is needed it seems. I did some defoilation to optimize the airflow and to give the developing buds in the side branches more light. More pics and updates coming later this week.
The Titan is developing a really nice flowery/citrus like smell. I added some Bio Tabs Bio PK 5-8 to the mix to support the many buds she is forming.
