Day 7 of flower and it is responding beautifully to the flip!

This weather's been crazy! We've been stuck in this deep freeze for over a week now. The temperature hasn't climbed above freezing for like 10 days – it's brutal out there. And to make things worse, with all this cold, the humidity's been acting weird. It's really hard on the plants, especially without the sun to help them dry out a little. "My Gas Tax x Obama Runtz plant is totally killing it right now! After a rough patch, it's finally starting to thrive. The leaves are this super bright green, and I can't believe how many flower buds I'm seeing. It's so rewarding to watch it bounce back." I can also make it sound a little more scientific if you want.

This is a very special strain that was created especially for me by Nate at The Bakery Genetics. These genetics are: Neytiri (Blue Dream x Purple Haze) X Skywalker OG (Skywalker x OG Kush) This will be my first ever soil grow (eek). I will be growing indoors in a 2x4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent using using M3 Michigan Made Mix in Rain Science Grow Bags under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED Lights. 5 regular seeds were soaked in water for 24 hours, and then placed in Rapid Rooters. Rapid Rooter plugs were placed in a seedling tray upon a heating pad and towel and put in darkness for 30 hours. 4/5 had sprouted in that time, pushing their little seed shells to the surface. 1/10/2020 - DAY 1 - 4/5 are thriving 48 hours later. Checked on the 5th seed and it never cracked so I'm moving forward with these 4 and hoping to get at least one female! 🙏🙏🙏 I surrounded the seedlings with clay pellets to block out light. Day 2 - Seedlings were transplanted into 16oz solo cups filled with M3 Michigan Made Mix. I cut slits in the bottom of the cup for drainage and have each one resting in a 12oz cup underneath to collect run off. I watered them very slowly until I had some drops of run off. I hate not being able to see their roots. 😭 #hydrogrowerproblems Current Light Settings - R39 W49 B99 Day 5 - Gave them some 6.5 pH water slowly until I had some runoff drops. These plants are looking fat and happy!!! 😍 Day 7 - Had my first learning experience, as I found some roots coming out of the bottom of my solo cup. I wasn't sure what to do or why it happened so I did some internetting and realized that my roots were seeking the moisture at the bottom of their runoff collecting cup. I had neglected to empty the runoff from one of the solo cups (not much at all mind you) and it was enough to attract the roots. I removed the cups from all 4 and will let the air-pruning commence! - air-pruning being another thing I learned about today! I'm really enjoying getting to experience the "new grower" feeling all over again. It's pretty cool. 😎 Slowly increasing Red and White light on my LEDs to gradually move seedlings into full Veg settings. 💜

This week was pretty mellow. Not much done. Watered twice this week, with second watering made some compost tea I brewed up on Thursday. Plants seem very happy. Smell is getting a little stronger. Not sure I have smelled anything some grapey. Very strange doesn't even seem real...lol. Loving this grow!!!

Lollipopped and flipped them into flower! Fingers crossed still no sign of purple She is doing so well!

Solid start to flower for these ladies... Starting this grow diary now and filling in as much as I can from the ~8 weeks before this point. I'll keep updating from now 'til harvest. Struggling to keep the heat down so had to rig up a styrofoam cooler "AC" I found on YouTube, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpqUr6bEYOs Keeping the DIY CO2 generator running full blast while the lights are on and have some side-lighting led bars in the works that I'll have installed later this week. Drip system has been working great, dialed back the feedings so I don't overwater and can give the top layer of coco a chance to dry out a little bit. Heavy defoliation tomorrow to clean up the canopy...

🌱 Sticky Broccoli – Grow Diary 🌱 Week 7 | Vegetative Stage | Coco + Perlite This week the plant was topped and LST was started ✂️🌿 Topping was successful, encouraging multiple new main colas. Plant responded well with no major stress observed. New growth is already pushing from lower nodes 🚀 LST has begun spreading the canopy outward for better light exposure 🌐 Branches are being gently pulled down to create an even canopy. Structure is becoming wider and more controlled. Stem remains strong and flexible 💪 Foliage is healthy green with no deficiencies showing 🌿 Roots should now be well established in the larger pot ? Watering remains consistent with slight runoff 💧 Environment stable with good airflow 🌬️ 📈 Focus next week: continue LST, fill canopy, and prepare for SCROG net training 🔥

Diese Woche war ein Berg ab und Berg auf! Nachdem die Ladies nach dem entlauben ohne Befeuchter stellenweise auf eine RLF von unter 30 % gefallen sind habe ich den Befeuchter wieder im Zelt installiert! Nun sind es in Tag und Nachtphase 40-45 % also perfekt. Am Tag 41 die Leistung der HID Lampe auf 600 Watt erhöht. In dieser Woche die Pflanzen mit einem pH von 5,8 und ec von 1,1 gespült. Die Temperatur ist konstant gut. Die Pflanzen wurden ebenfalls zum denke ich letzten Mal stark entlaubt um Licht an die Buds zu lassen. Von der Größe der buds stehen sie der x haze etwas nach,, Ich bin aber zufrieden. Es fängt an gut zu riechen 😁 bis nächste Woche ✌️🏾

Update: All 3 seeds broke ground on May 20. Ready to see these babies grow big and beautiful. Germ Day 1: Today I decided to plant 3 Fast Buds Afghan Kush Auto. I mixed the Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4 with a couple tbsp of mychorrizae and crushed egg shells into 5 gal of sunshine #4 which is predominantly a peat based media. I watered around the seed thoroughly. I am using the sponsored Vipar Spectra XS2000 and think it will be awesome for these auto flowers. It’s a super strong light with an awesome spectrum. I have it set at 30% at 34”. I’m excited to see how this combo works. I’ve seen great things from each part and looking forward to a great result together. Happy Growing 🌱

All good in the neighborhood 2 of 3 moved to the brand NEW FRIDGEGROW 2.0 system. the orange one lost... ;) just after a few days in the new home they grew like mad

So here we are end of week 9 and is almost the end for Betty . I think 4-5 days and she I'll be ready for the chop . Has been 10 days flush so far and just been feeding her pH water . I will get some better pics up when chopping her down got real bad lighting in my flat and only take out at night .😀

Day 71 Update: water today and likely pulled out and put in a closet for 48 hrs starting Tuesday or Wednesday. O is still well behind but seems to be on track for quite a harvest. S, V, and P are going to be harvested simultaneously in one go and then O will have the tent for its last week or two. Since O is still mid-flower, it got 8 ml of each of the GMB pH Perfect Trio in one gallon and the rest just got filtered tap. Day 73 Update: Lot of action today. Uploading pics from my phone, will update with tags and details from desktop later.

Woche 4 bricht an und es läuft hervorragend! Die Orange Sherbet bekommt diese Woche frischen Boden: eine Mischung aus Bio-bizz All-Mix und Greenhouse-Feeding, perfekt für die letzten Vegetationswochen und blüte. Zudem hat sich die Orange Sherbet sehr gut mit dem Backhefe-Buttermilch-Melasse-Experiment entwickelt, was zu einem starken CO2-Anstieg auf bis zu 1500 ppm geführt hat. 💨 Ich bin gespannt, wie sie sich in der neuen Umgebung entwickeln wird. Auf der anderen Seite explodieren die Frozen Black Cherries förmlich in der Hydroponik! 🌱 Die Entwicklung ist beeindruckend, und ich könnte nicht zufriedener sein mit ihrem Fortschritt. Additionally, the Orange Sherbet has responded well to the back yeast-buttermilk-molasses experiment, resulting in a significant CO2 increase of up to 1500 ppm. 💨 I'm excited to see how she adapts to her new environment. Meanwhile, the Frozen Black Cherries are absolutely thriving in hydro! 🌱 Their growth has been phenomenal, and I couldn't be more impressed with their progress. This is when I changed to spider farmer SE300. Wow this light is amazing the full spectrum light. The dimmable light adjustment is sweeet. It’s like opening a Christmas present 😂
