FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. This week I made a short video for each 2502 tester and a pic or 2. GH Flora Micro ½ tsp /gal Gro ½ tsp /gal Bloom ½ tsp /gal Fox CalMag ½ tsp /gal PPM 573 & 715 when I added Plagrons Royal Rush 4ml. This girl is doing fanominal I can't believe how big she is lol I think the stretching gas finally stopped and she is more concentrated on making some buds lower leaves dying off as natural part of flowering comes on the node spacing is crazy tight we're gonna have some massive chunky nugs can't wait ! But patience is key stay tuned !!

Nov 13 - Day 94 - More bulking up, girls are holding water longer. Watered Older plant at 7.45PM. Started defoliating withered leaves with trichomes, I'm keeping those for now, and will combine with bubble hash trim. Nov 14 - Day 95 - Both pots aren't super light so I'll wait until tomorrow and water both at the same time. Starting to think about drying and harvest, I suspect there to be a fortnight between each harvest - but unsure if I can afford the tent space with next run growing. I think I'll water either as lights turn off (if humidity wont rise) or first thing on Nov 15. Nov 14 - Trichomes are milky with the speckle of clear and amber. Lets hope the lagging cola fattens up in the week to come. Nov 14 - WATERED Younger plant at 10.30PM. Nov 15 - Watered Older plant at 3PM Nov 16 - Watered Younger plant at 5PM Nov 17 - Woke up to 80F. Likely at higher temp for 1 hour before noticing. Defoliated a few leaves, including one or two with trichomes, of which I've saved. Nov 18 - Watered Older plant at 6AM. Younger plant pot is light at lights off- will water first thing in the morning. Also removed dead tips and accidentally chopped a healthy fan leaf. I was hoping to chop today, but it might be another week before the younger plant is ready. Nov 19 - DAY 100 - Watered Younger plant at 10.30AM. Trichomes are developing nicely, I suspect 1 more week with younger plant which makes me wonder when to chop older plant.

Days 71 - 77 We are coming to end... I started to flush her, buds look big and the colors are appealing. At the end of this week she will go on her last trip.

Not much to say about this real first grow week’s start. Everything looks ok, steady growth at 40% light. I had to restart the control app a few times, therefore the broken graphs. At night times, the control software tries to attain optimum humidity rather than optimum VPD. That’s why VPD is dropping when the lights are out. CO2 is back to baseline – really wonder what the reliable values are … I found I have to silence the blowers when a timelapse photo is being taken. The shaking you see at the beginning of the grow video should not appear, or to a much less degree, in the future. Day 13 (July 30th) shows good, steady growth. Leaves are a bit spotty, although less then the processed images show. Something to be worried about? I would not currently … All are developing their 3rd nodes now. The controlling Raspberry Pi crashed last night when I tried to access it remotely … ;( – looks like the Connect software is in need of an update. The leaf temperature sensor is now really aimed at lady-to-be nr. 1’s leaves. Nothing to change that I see. I won’t cut the top yet, just watered the outer circle of the big pots slightly to encourage root growth. Day 14: Nice growth. First plant is now at 11 cm, and at 12 cm on day 15. Nothing special to report so far, except for I had to move the internal camera a bit upwards to keep little lady #1 in focus. Day 16 and last day of this week (Aug 2nd): The young ladies are now at about 14 cm tall. Growth looks very compact though. I think the two inside girls will lose their heads next week; I’d still prefer to have one or two more nodes available. Pictures of this day are taken at the end of the plants’ day. Notice their leaves are pointing upwards, which should be a sign that they want more light. I turned the lights up by another 20% for a total of 60 W now. Weather was pretty hot the last days so it wasn’t possible to stay in optimum VPD range but as long as growth is this satisfying I don’t mind. I will water them slightly at their next day start. Outside plant’s soil humidity might still be at around 58% officially, but drying starts at around 40% with this measurement and the sensors are placed quite closely to the stems so outer soil is dryer. I am preparing the plant water with some additions and a frequency imprint suing some Solfeggio and Schumann frequencies.

Gold Sativa has been growing good. Been focused on root pruning the last week. Something I should of been doing from the beginning. I increased her nutrition slightly. Likely 2 weeks till I change light schedule. Depending on how fast the roots recover. I am in no hurry really. OK guys I'm starting at the beginning of week 5 so this one is only a few days after my last addition the the diary. I noticed the very first pistils so now we are in week 1 of flower. Punch 2 has dark greeb, curled down edges, maybe a nitrogen toxicity? I don't think I'm over watering, they didn't have water for 6 days when I noticed these symptoms. Punch 1 doesn't have the dark green edged fan leaves or the curling down, but there are some pale white spots and smudges at the ends of the fan leaves. Any ideas guys? I'm new to this so not 100% what is going on or how to fix. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys🎄

1/28/24 - Day 83 - Here we are on day 83 and the trichomes are looking good. I bet one week, if not two weeks before I start to flush with water. There are some photos of the Trichomes a couple of weeks ago and then again today. 1/31/24 - Day 86 - The buds are starting to get FAT and grow outward. Tons of new buds coming from the buds. Sounds werid but the buds are growing buds now. The smell is out of this planet strong. Im looking forward to the next couple of weeks!

Week 12

Welcome to the start of week 3. Plants are officially 2 weeks since sowed. Have a small PH issue. It is a bit high. Will be watering with a lower PH next water. Decided to remove the runt of the batch. I think 5 plants would have been too many for my grow space. Other than that plants look healthy and are growing nicely.

Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does.
