July 11: hail storm went through and did some damage. Small leaves are fine but the big fan leaves are shredded. She will recover but this is a bit of a setback. July 15: after a few days of recovery I removed more of the hail damaged fan leaves. New growth is coming in nicely. July 16: late start and hail storm means this one is still only 8 colas. There is not enough time this grow season to get to 16 so I’ll just stick to 8 colas, or 7 actually after losing one to the hail storm.

Week 6 and these girls got a scrog net added. As the plants are getting extremely heavy. Started to unfold an open up eagle spread style. So had to lend a helping hand. They got a scrog net added an the untrained plant got tied up from tents upper support bars an lower branches got some support also from the net. So far everything is going smoothly. Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk update 5th Jan 2020 11th week of veg over and done with. Ive done quite a bit since the last update as far as this girl is concerned 1st of all i erected a greenhouse that covers all of my Photo period plants. and secondly I transplanted the Pineapple chunk out of the pot she was in and put her straight into the ground so I'm expecting and hoping that she will explode once the stretch starts in about 5 weeks or so. The soil I moved her into is really nice and fertile as it was used to grow winter vegetables and Broad beans. The growing of legumes can benefit the soil by bringing nitrogen to the surface to be made available to anything else growwing in the same soil. The white continues to grow very well, the new branches born from topping grow quickly and grow well, beautiful brunches are expected. The trunk widens impressively. We use Neem Oil + Potassium Soap for protection every 3 days and Lord Grow nourishing foliar every 15 days to protect, improve and give co2 via the leaf.

10/11/24 she had gotten so overly dry that she was impossible to water. i had to scrape and break of the dry spots all around the soil and root ball so that water could penetrate. she was root bound from a solo cup and then as well from 1 gallon to 3 gallon. once the rootbound spots got overly dry, they became super hydrophobic and i didnt realize how bad it was. that may be what's been affecting the over all health of the plant. finally able to get her to hold weight in water so im hopefull 10/15 pistils are getting thrown out everywhere. a bit of a stretch so far but not too much. maybe a couple inches or

This week I watered the lady once with Clean Fruits so that 10% drain came out again 👍. Today watering was normal again (for nutrients see table above). Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked again.
