Da hab ich experimentiert. Erster Grow halt :) Nr. 3 ist die Pflanze mit fehlendem Keimblatt. Ab Montag kommt dann von AN Big Bud dazu. Was mir mit Pflanze Nr.4 passiert ist löse ich nach dem Grow auf. Mal gucken :) Es musste gegossen werden und ich hab die höchsten Köpfe noch mal zur Seite gebogen, damit alle schön gleichmässig wachsen. Die Ladys werden jetzt immer durstiger. Beim Dünger bleibe ich vorerst bei dem 3 Komponenten Dünger von AN. Alles in allem siehts doch ganz gut aus.

Day 56: Nothing special this week other then I found out another reason for the stretching of the plants. I don't know where i was of what i was doing but suddenly it came into my mind. Well normaly i use seperate veg and flower basic nutrients. This time, I used a new basic nutrient i never used before. This basic nutrient has veg and flower nutrients for the whole cycle. So the growth of the plants has been stimulating for to long. This is fun when you grow huge plants for a long time, not if you plan to only veg for 3-4 weeks, 1-2 weeks preflower with maybe 6 to 9 weeks of flowering.

Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. The mind is constantly working and producing, just like a factory. It's not just a passive recipient of information but an active producer of ideas, attitudes, and beliefs. The "ingredients" in this factory are the information you consume, such as books, conversations, and the media you engage with. The "products" are your thoughts, beliefs, and actions. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. First day of week 7! So, flowering has clearly decided to start and things are looking well. I managed to correct the deficiencies with Sensi CalMag Xtra and she seems to be loving it. I guess we all make mistakes on our first grow but I’m enjoying all of the learning so far. She was in a terrible state a week ago and I thought I was potentially going to lose her. Still, she powered through and here we are. Nothing much to report, I’ll just get some nice shots of bud sites when she fattens up a bit more as we go through. Peace brothers and sisters ✌️ Update 06/07: Took away quite a few leaves which were not providing much value (IMO) and she’s loved it, proper perked up and reaching high for the light. Today I also installed a little mini humidifier and it works a treat, makes it look super cool too 😂👍🏼 - Looking forward to seeing some juicy buds soon.

All good. After 2 weeks of 12/12 girls showing nice bloom. I still train and defoliate lightly. After this week I will do stronger defoliation and let them bulk up.
