So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

Here's the weekly rundown: Automated Watering: This is cool! I've set up an automated watering system that I can control through a Telegram bot. Hello, technology! 🤖💧 Defoliation: Last week, we did some defoliation, trimming off the unnecessary leaves. This helped the plant focus more on flowering. Sometimes less is more, right? My Strawberry Gorilla Automatic from Fast Buds is now in its third week of flowering, and I couldn’t be happier with how she’s progressing. She looks incredibly healthy, with vibrant green leaves and strong branches. The stretch phase is nearly over, and she has developed a solid structure with a well-defined main cola.🌱 One of the most exciting changes this week is the first appearance of trichomes on the main bud. Under the light, they’re starting to sparkle, hinting at the resin production that’s about to take off. The buds are forming nicely, and I can already smell a faint but promising aroma developing. So far, she’s responding well to the nutrients and environment, with no signs of deficiencies or stress. If she keeps going at this pace, she’s going to be a real beast by harvest time.😊

Como podemos ver ya todas están para el corte o casi, en algunas tendré que seleccionar el pheno, ya que hay alguna que me gusto más que la otra, en general un terpeno muy diferente en cada variedad y también la calidad de la resina, en general mucha resina, pero por ejemplo he podido observas que los tricomas de la Gorilla Melon son más grandes y se oxidan de una manera más lenta, ideal para hacer extracciones, en cambio, la Reinbow Melon .... ese terpeno dulce intenso tanto que es hasta abrumador...me muero de ganas ya de probarla... la Lemon Mandarín es exagerado el olor que tiene a mandarina si cierras los ojos y ueles fuere parece que te vayas a comer una buena mandarina y la Paya Sherbet tiene un olor dulce y muy agradable, pero nada que aún pueda relacionad del todo..... un saludo y buenos humos fam.

This will be the last week i will Feed. I m keeping TDS at 400PPM and PH at 5.8. This week I took out the Silica Blast, Great White and also stoped the CO2. Also I lowered the water temp to 66 degrees. Lights on temp is between 75 and 80 degrees, lights off between 65 and 72. I’m trying to keep humidity as low as possible around 45% week 10 will be flush week.

Anubis a pesar de su color intenso amarillo palido esta engordando bastante bien y su produccion de resina es inimaginable y ya solo que quedan 2 semanas y media aprox. espero que a partir de ahora ya no surjan mas problemas y que las chicas terminen su floracion de la mejor manera. esto es todo por esta semana chicos, espero que se encuentren muy bien ! This week the girls have improved a little, the yellowing stopped, I discovered that Cal-Max from Grotek interferes with the composition of the hesi line so the girls suffer a nutrient lock, I stopped using it and the girls have continued with their relatively normal development. They are already in their 5th week of flowering, Tutankhamun has produced a gigantic amount of resin, Lennon is gaining weight at full speed and he still has about 6 weeks left. Anubis, despite its intense pale yellow color, is gaining weight quite well and its resin production is unimaginable and there are only about 2 and a half weeks left. I hope that from now on no more problems arise and that the girls finish their flowering in the best way. This is it for this week guys, I hope you are doing well!

Week 7 Update I really love these Autos! They smell amazing 😍. So I think the purple pheno is have is a banana purple punch, it looks very much like one. You guys can let me know what you think. My Groilla Cookies is growing nicely, I can see she's fattening up. My other 2 to the back are starting to fatten up as well. They are about a week and some days behind. They started to flower late so I'm looking forward to seeing them fatten up. The Purple pheno will probably be the first to harvest. She's showing some fast growth compared to the others. So the story continues... this grow is really an experiment for me to train one plant within my 4'x2' grow space to ScrOG vertically and use the SP250 light on its side. For the majority of the vegetative stage the light will be hung normally above the plant until a week prior to flipping the light schedule and initiating flowering. The plant passed its seedling stage and has been vigorously growing albeit showing strong signs of over-watering and calcium deficiencies. It's really a transpiration issue which I have not solved yet. Increased distance to light as the plant may be growing too fast for its root mass. From feedback at Coco for Cannabis (CFC), it is a Cal deficiency and a young plant getting used to the grow in coco - quite common and not a sign of over-watering. Measuring run-off EC at each fertigation event as I increase the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is now maintained at twice a day (at lights on and 4hrs prior to lights off period) to maintain the target EC. Light period is during the night time to better maintain heat/humidity conditions during light off period (which happens during daytime). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes ; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 (gives me great control over the environment) - ventilation fans - aquarium heater for nutrients solution (for winter use only) - small oil heater (for winter use only) - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots (as final pots) and 3.5L general plastic pots (for seedling stage) - Canna Coco substrate mixed with 40% perlite - GHE Flora Trio as base nutrients and various additives - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy, the other at the roots level - these allow for external monitoring and recording) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some strain info from Royal Queen Seeds ; An amazing mix of genetics background - Its true genetics are unknown. Some say OG Kush is a mix of ChemDawg with a Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush. Others say that it’s just a special cutting of ChemDawg from the early 90s. The most obvious trait of OG Kush is its strong, unique, very dank, slightly citrus aroma, almost like fuel or strong detergent. The flavour of OG Kush is equally as strong and dank, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Strong mental and physical high - OG Kush is an extremely strong cannabis strain, with most experienced smokers listing it as one of their favourites. The effect is as strong physically as it is mentally. Though its effect is like an Sativa, the strain's genetics are mostly Indica. The effect is as strong and complex as the flavour. OG Kush takes around 8 weeks to flower and on average the yield is 500 grams per plant. Big buds with lovely tones - OG Kush is known to stretch slightly during growth but soon starts to fill out during flowering. Generally, it will reach a height of 90 to 160 cm. Its buds are large and dense, lime green clusters covered with a large amount of resin.

This week has been sunny, hot and wet. I have not done a thing except to keep an eye on Miss Gorilla Cookies. It has been a hot and rainy week and I did not feed this plant this week. That is why I did not record Ph levels and PPM, etc this week. I have really wanted to give this diary an honest, straight up review of Gorilla Cookies growing in whatever Mother Nature threw her way. She is tall and thin but has a lot of bud growth. I am eager to see how big her buds will get. One thing that I have not been super pleased with is using Miracle Grow as a nutrient. This outside grow was an experiment using Miracle and not my typical Fox Farm nutrients. At this point in my grow, Fox Farm beats out Miracle Grow. @Hindugod and I have been growing our Gorilla Cookie plants simultaneously and his plants look thicker than mine do. His weather has not been as hard on his plants as I have had here in Virginia. He is also using different nutrients.
