Here we are with the 5th (and last) week of veg! Finally I transplant the Queens in their definitive home. Queen #5 wants to be different, so she decide to top herself in a particular way. I really like her shape and all the branches all around! I have to change the light setup for the flowering stage, but I don't know if the box will be able to hold up two cooltube reflectors: I hope it won't implode for too much weight. June 3: growing fast now. Still almost 3 weeks until the solstice so we’re in good shape timing wise. June 5: “we got ‘er goin’ now.” Nice fast growth happening. June 6: now past fifth node and will top first thing tomorrow morning. June 7: topped for manifolding (or mainlining), and watered with a simple compost tea (mature compost, water, molasses, vinegar for pH) left to steep overnight. Apologies for the audio quality on the video.

First week of flowering! I chose to also do some lst on this lady, a bit of a different approach. She survived a couple of very warm days(32°C). The lower leaves started to die off so I used some more nutes. Watered with 2l(nutes), 1,5l(no nutes) and 2l(nutes). She is starting to smell a bit also, looking forward to seeing the buds!

Put into paper towel June 4/21, Popped June 8 and put into soil. Humid and hot conditions, high 20-30s •C. Rained overnight and into the morning of June 8th. Very humid day. Placed into plastic cups with slits for easy transplanting. Grow baby grow!! June 9th- poor girl got trashed by vermin overnight. Transplanted back into soil and topped with worm castings. The jerks…. Showing great signs of life after… about to pop the seed off the sprout 💪🏼 June 11th- not sure if it’s because we’ve had less sunlight and cooler temps, or if she’s having difficulties popping her shell off but she’s looking kinda droopy. She’s well enough hydrated…. Or seemingly so. Humidity also dropped after several days of high temps and humidity. Shock from the vermin transplant? This plant was quite bushy and I had to get rid of a lot of lower growth, leaves and mini shoots, gave it a pretty aggressive stripping and half ass lollipoping. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through.
