W6 - GRETA 🌱is doing well. I defoliate some leaves from top brunches (compare with week 5) just to make the top canopy slightly less dense. That will allow more sunlight receive by lower brunches a specially when they in the flowering period. Slowly buds get covered with trichomes 🎍 Happy times 🙂

Hello to all fellow growers of our unique cannabis plant! 🍀🌞 The girls are 81 days old (40 days of veg / 41 days of flower). The buds are slowly fattening up, and some are starting to show the first orange pistils. Also, one of the five plants (the tallest one) is starting to show some purple hues on the top leaves. The smell is amazing! It’s like a mix of sweet tropical fruit, grapes, sweet cherry candy, and... a little bit of shit 🙃😄. We still have 2 to 3 weeks of flowering left before harvest. The buds already feel rock hard ?. Yesterday, I started adding Overdrive by Advanced Nutrients (in a small dose, about 1ml/l of water). Check out the video 😉. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

Things are looking good. I started counting Day 1 before the dummy leaves even shed the seed, also, I think the 3 gal pots are probably holding back the above ground growth a tad. Been watering about .5 gallons each in a ring just outside the plant every 2-3 days. They look healthy and I'm sure by the end of the week, they'll be screaming along. Not sure if I'm more excited about the ganja or the melons. Lol. Can't wait to enjoy both ☀️🍉💨

Week 11 - Sixth Week of Flower The Donutz tent has officially entered the “sit back, water, and enjoy” phase. Key Updates: Steady Growth: The buds are stacking up nicely, with the purple phenos becoming even more vibrant and the other plants continuing to bulk up. Even the thinner phenos are starting to show signs of filling out as they settle deeper into the flowering phase. Stable Routine: Watering with reverse osmosis (RO) water remains consistent, and the tent environment is running smoothly with no changes needed. Observations: The trichomes are sparkling more each day, covering the buds and sugar leaves with a frosty layer. The aroma is intensifying, filling the space with a sweet, rich fragrance that’s impossible to ignore. The canopy looks uniform and healthy, a testament to the early defoliation and training work. Next Steps: Simply monitor the plants, ensuring they stay hydrated and happy. Enjoy the show as the buds continue to develop and the trichomes ripen. Day 37. Not much to add ... Adjusting the pH morning and night and observe the good growth it has, keeps the canopy quite well. I have observed some pistils with orange tips, do you know what is due?

Lets start new experiment Try to minimize effort and No1 will get Bionova...only 2 different bottles...at veg only one No2 will get the full range from CANNA Of course both will get some calmag, too. Nutrients support will start at week one...with low ec 0.7 -0.8...will need destiled water as well

Was a good learning experience. I'm not going to get near the weight I expected from these, and though the bud turned out really tasty, I don't think I'll grow it again. I'm not sure I would recommend to a newbie. It was in some awesome living soil, but some deficiencies crept up in flower, and I wasn't impressed with the roots upon post mortem exam. On second look, even the photo on msnl's site shows some spots that looks like deficiencies. Definitely some grower errors here, but all of my ongoing grows faced the same challenges and these just seemed less adaptable. Anyhow, I've been graced with some clean meds for now, and I'm a happy growin hooman. 👽 I also probably won't do any more autoflowers moving forward. Just not my style. There are some great peeps doing outstanding work with autos though. Best to them and all! :) D82 - 12.12 - cut the second auto cheese yesterday. Let her go as long as I was comfortable. Think her run in with the gnats resulted in the the deficiencies. Awfully covered in trichs, so it should make for tasty smoke after dried, trimmed and cured.. Shall update

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

Sorry I was away for a bit. Spilt a pint of beer and then a pint of water on my laptop and had to get it repaired. Lost everything on my SSD so tryna build back. We're now in the penultimate week, i'm using Dragon Force from Shogun for a final boost before I flush next week. I have added a dehumidifier into the mix. Had some issues initially with the reservoir filling up to quick and emptying it being a pain so I attached the pipe to drain water back into the oxypot. Unfortunately I connected it badly and it leaked into the tent creating a spicy situation. I managed to mop up the water and reconnect it so it now drains correctly into the oxypot. It seems to be working. I had it set to 50% these last few days and it reduced the RH from 70% to 51%. I've now set it to 40% to try and boost that last minute resin production. Got 4 clip on fans and the airflow relatively high to keep the air as fresh and dry as possible. Had some rot on the last crop, determined to not let that happen this time. I removed the second OHS plant because it was stunted and the 2nd Morpheus plant was so large she could use the space and has done nicely. The morpheus 2 is dominating the space but has absolute monster colas so I forgive her. There's this mutant bud pictured. Wasn;t sure what was going on so after doing some research it seems it's either polyploidism or fasciation. I'm not exactly sure how to tell the difference but it looks cool as hell and I've excited to harvest, trim and smoke that badboi.

So this marks the beginning of week 4! At then end of week 3 I noticed a bit of over watering as well as possible nute burn (early early stages) so this week I'm decreasing the dosages on EVERYTHING and I'm going to let my baby's dry out ! This will be their final week in the 5" square pot as I'm going to move them into their new and final homes. I want to thank everyone who comes and stops by my diaries you guys are wonderful people and I've learned so much already ! So keep on keeping on and remember to check my diaries daily for updates !! La humedad esta al 45% la temperatura está entre 21/27grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . AgroBeta: 1 ml x L Flowering black line , vía radicular. 0,2 ml x L Beta shark, vía radicular. 0,3 ml x L Tucán , vía radicular. 0,1 ml x L Betazyme, vía radicular. 0,05 ml x L Gold Joker, vía radicular. 0,2 ml x L Silver, vía radicular. . Another week gone by and the plants are growing nicely. I had some yellow coloring of the lower leaves at the beginning of the week and so i increased the fertilizer a little bit and the plants are responding well so far. Since they are in the bigger pots i also dont need to water them every day anymore, this week i only watered them twice. I also picked some of the lower leaves which dont receive so much light anymore, topped the remaining strains and tried to bend down some of the branches with some garden wire but didnt work as good as i hoped it would. i still have a scrog-net which im going to use later, but i think the plants are still too small. in the future im going to try different techniques and materials, for now i'm not going to overthink it and just let them grow now,.
