Start 12/10/2020 Finish 23/1/2021 I grow outdoors and use organic farming so there isn't too much to say. I just want to talk about a few things about strain: - Odor: not strong and very pleasant, I think it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor planting, but difficult to detect by the smell. - Bud: strong, many trichromes and fast growing. - Color: both plants and buds are green. - Height: short trees - Yield: good (because my country usually shines on 12/12 in sunlight, so plants grow slowly and bloom early so the output will not be high). Girls had a great week at summer camp! Smiles are found everywhere regarding their new homes. Plenty of room to grow and wiggle their toes in the amended formula 707, which is doing what was expected retaining moisture nicely, bringing the watering to a minimum. All three girls received merit badges for hiking(survived transplanting), water sports(2 liters), light tolerance(supplemental lighting), physical fitness(color and strength)and kite flying(added a fan). They are all looking forward to this weeks activities. Girls seem to like what they’re getting at the chow hall, green and growing daily, strong and upright. Plenty of good stuff in the soil. A fan was added and the benefits are three fold, dry out the top layer of soil, pest control, makes them stronger. I will update as needed. ***update, the girls are looking good this morning, well rested, well nourished, vibrant. Their roots must be really liking the 707 as evident by the rapid growth. Measured them this morning with the H. W. At8 in. the V. F. at 8.5 and the 91 Grapes at 10 in. And at least an inch wider as well. No water will be needed today. Note. The greenhouse may be better suited for growing mushrooms than cannabis. Pine trees and shade. No direct sunlight until after 2pm. Dappled sun all morning long, so installed a T-5 4 foot ArgroLed 6550(k) daylight led fixture above the girls. That was a bright idea! ***update, New Video includes new homemade lighting.

Things are trucking along nice and fast. Buds visibly bigger by the day. Nice trichome development going on. Not much smell unless you agitate them and they go crazy.

Let’s dive into the details! Environmental Updates: A Chill in the Air 🌬️ This week, temperatures in the grow room dipped to around 21-22°C, with relative humidity (RH) holding steady at 65%. While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. 06/16/2020 Did some defoiliating, and fed Espoma Fruit and flower 9-4-3 (3 tbls top dressed) help to aid in the transition from veg to flowering, after 21st days get shorter but slowly. Might do light deprivation to induce an early harvest. I just posted a video of Red Sky #3, brother of Red Sky #1 One branch will get dusted on #1 Good news #1, clones very well with minimal effort stuck in potting mix which has 5-1-1 starter fertilizer plus myco, and tricoderma. After she settles in I will switch to top dressing with Espoma Fruit and flower 4-9-3 plus myco have 3 good clones to work with. Oh yeah apparently I put 4-9-3 in transplant pot so I guess it means nutes total is 9-10-4 maybe a mid to late top dress to finish but we see what happens!. The 5-1-1last about 6 weeks. And the 4-9-3 will last 3-4 weeks at best We see how she is doing in a month. Then I'll know better. From here on out this diary is all about my freaky princess!👍 Red Sky #1 she is getting to tall so I took clones to bring her down to size I will keep one mother plant, and monster crop the rest! 9/3/2023: Still doing some minor defoliation and tucking the branches under the scrog screen. Think this will be the final week in veg. I plan on letting her dry out a bit more before bottom watering again, so I can water in some pre-bloom nutrients, before flipping to flower. As of today there is still water in the reservoir. 9/5/2023: The reservoir dried out yesterday and today I top watered with about 1 gallon. Added Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja 60, Coconut Powder, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6 and BuildABloom, Pure Protein Dry, Fermented Comfrey Extract and Fermented Peach Extract. Then I filled up the reservoir with the remaining 2 gallons of water, with a ph of 6, with Silica and cal mag added in. This will likely be the last top waterings until stretch is complete. 9/8/2023: She is showing some signs of overwatering. I think the top watering rhe other day may have made the soil a bit too wet. I've pulled back the cover to let the soil dry a bit. I will also let the reservoir dry out a few days before filling again. The other plants is doing awesome, but the Melon milk seems to be a bit more moody. Was hoping she would fill out the right side of the screen, but I'm running out of time. The plant on the left is getting too big and I'm running out of room. Plan to flip to flower very soon, but I want to get this waterings issue sorted first.

Hi all! This girl does not even think of maturing yet .. the buds are getting fluffier and denser! the leaves began to slowly turn yellow and turn purple hues. I really hope and want that she would show 100% of her goetinics expressed in colors! in other aspects, I believe that I was able to achieve the maximum and grow a plant that fully reflects her genetics! I am 100% satisfied with the result! I hope that @GreenHouseSeeds will appreciate my work.

Day 7 Veg: A great start for the ladies has been slowed slightly by leaving them a few days too long in their germination pots. I usually plant into the final.pot from seed bit uad to wait this time for space. They took a hit with transplant shock I think and a few deformed leaf sets have resulted. I think this will sort itself once the plants resettle bit with time being precious on autos , I hope its soon. One of the Banana Mash is a real mutant it seems with two odd looking leaves and a tiny bit of new node showing through. The Purple monkey are all doing very well so far and rhe transplant has not hit them so hard. i also think I have a mango cream growing from a seed that popped out of the mango crop I did. lets see. I wet trimmed her and froze the sugar leaves to try to make my first hash. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Set up cost (fixed costs) -Lamp: 40€ -Timer: 3,5€ -Pot: 4€ -Total fixed costs: 47,5€ Given 5 years (or 15 grows) usage time translates to around 3,17€ per grow in materials. Invested in Green Planet 1 Part Nutrient System. Going to see how it finishes my buds in these last few weeks, also will use it to start my next girl. D60 - There are some amber Trichomes, but on the part of the leaves that will be cut off when I manicure, going to give it another week at most to ripen more. End of the week - Flushing down to 150ppm and hopping the buds put on a bit more size in this last upcoming week. Side note, I should have put more space between the bud sites, they are too compact and the bud sites near the middle are not able to push up through the canopy, which is limiting its growth.
