She started out tiny but definitely surprised me halfway through. She doesn't really smell as a plant but in the jars and paper bags, she smells like berries and watermelons. Only been a week since I dried her in the fridge but I can't wait so I'm going to try to smoke some of her tonight. I also had to harvest partially as some of the lower buds are not quite ready yet which means I'm not done yet as of now. Will update more soon.

420 Fastbuds Week 2 Veg FBT2305 The two of these are starting off great. The few rust spots stopped and stayed on the couple leafs it showed up on. I feed 500ml of solution every other day. I did start the General Hydroponics 3 part Flora series as well as the Calimagic. On week one I started 1/4tsp per gal ratio every other feed, so far no burn so will probably bump it up this coming week and see how they respond. All in all Happy Growing.

Tis Fruit Tartare has grown on some pretty buds by now and waaaaauw the colour she's got is amazing. The purple has gotten even more darker and intense , she's a real beauty. I'm guessing she has got another two to three weeks to go, so Im hoping for her buds to get a little thicker and denser before she goes.

So far so good. pH levels are stable and plants seem off to a good start. I gave them an extra boost of fluvic and humic acids for better nutrient uptake at the roots along with other benefits. Although it will of only been 6 days tomorrow since the last water change, i plan on doing it tomorrow at day 6. For the reason of keeping the system clean and sterile ill be doing a change every 7-10 Days. Day 12.. had to top up the nutrients as she was showing calcium and magnesium deficiency or the start of, but we will see. Other than that things are going well. Only issue is water temp as i dont yet have a chiller. Stay tuned

This week is dedicated to finalizing the pot and nutrients for the rest of the lifecycle, looks like it took to the nutrients very well not much new upwards growth but new leaf sites appeared!

Hello y'all! Today marks the last day of the third week of flowering. At the start of this week I watered the plant with 1 liter of plain water, no excess draining. I also applied some extra LST, I really wanted to expose as much as possible the buds. My light is not that powerful, it produce real 70/75 watts... so I do my best to take advantage of it with some LST and a major defoliation. I took out 13 leaves, some of them were a bit crushed or damaged so they had to go to create more space for the light and overall for the health of the Titan. Some of them they were just making too much shade on the buds so they also had to go ahhahaha Couple of days ago I watered with 3 liters of water with nutrients. The excess was 1.5 liter. I found the limit of the pot, around 2.5/3 liters of water per week. That's the sweet spot. I was concerned that the plant didn't drink enough but then if I take in consideration that the pot is only 7 liters and I did fill it with around 6 liters of soil...then I think is more than fine as it it. We will see. So in conclusion this week the baby got roughly 4 liters of water adjusted to pH 6.3. The water that drained off the pot was around pH 6.7/6.8. I think is a little too much and I am considering to water next time with pH around 6.0 o 6.1 maybe I will be able to drop the pH of the excess water to 6.6 or 6.5. We will see. The temperature is constantly around 21 to 23 degrees celsius and the humidity at the moment is constantly under 50%. At least I don't have to worry about mold. I hope. The smell is strong with some mango scents, amazing plant! I hope it smokes also as good as it smells! I wanted to point out something that I've noticed and it popped in my mind. My pot was for 7 liters but in the pot I have roughly 6 liters of soil. So there is some extra empty space for soil on the very top of the pot. The problem is that I noticed that on the very bottom of the main stem the plant tried to sprout some extra roots but because there was no soil around it they didn't spread and died straight away. I've noticed that the plant could be much stronger or bigger if I let her root also a bit higher on the main stem... but because there was no soil around the stem the roots didn't come out from there. You can see it in the last picture. I circled in red the spots. I believe I could do much better if the roots were starting a lil higher on the stem and not just where is the soil. If you don't get me or im unable to explain myself cus im stoned then please give a look at the last picture of this week. You will understand what I meant, if not peace and love the same hahahaha Overall I believe everything is going in the right direction, in 2 weeks +- I should harvest. I hope I can get 50 g dry of this plant. See you next week guys!

One of the plants has a slight pie dough smell, but still very minimal smell when I open the tent. EDIT: the smell is actually making it passed my carbon filter, and I am not sure why it is only 1 of the 2 plants giving off the heavy smell as well. The chunkier/darker colour one is the one that smells real heavy, smells really creamy/doughy. UV/IR has been on for the past few weeks, and will stay on until the end. The plants have gone through a bunch of issues so far, and are still going strong. Gave a tablespoon of power bloom to each, on day 31.

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! Growing some seeds I won from Diary of the Month here on Grow Diaries!!! I'm so grateful and excited for another learning experience doing what I love! Thank you, FastBuds! 🙏 Seed was germinated directly in Rapid Rooter placed in a seedling tray. I put her in darkness for 48 hours and then in a sunny window. Three days later, the seedling's little head poked up and the next day she showed me her first true leaves - calling this day 1. I kept the seedling tray in a sunny window and brought her outside for lunch on my sunny deck with me for the rest of the week. Given the heatwave we were having here, I got her settled into her net basket sooner rather than later so that she could have a more stable environment. This plant will is being grown indoors in an 2x4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent using an 8 gallon Current Culture Solo Bucket under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED. For grow media I am using clay pellets and I use the entire Cultured Solutions line of nutrients. I will be showcasing this plant in a grow tutorial over on my YouTube channel and IGTV where I am going to show a detailed walk through of how I grew my original "Budzilla" plant. Unfortunately, I don't have a grow diary for her, but she is featured on my IG account. The technique I use I created after harvesting my first grow. I had used low stress training on an autoflower and achieved beautiful results. I took notes the entire grow and conducted a postmortem. I sincerely advise doing this for EVERY grow - especially when you are learning. It provides you opportunity to figure out what went right, what went wrong, what could have gone better, and what ideas you think you can toss into the mix to try to improve on the places that need revamping. I did this and I came up with the hypothesis of starting my plant off-center in the net basket, and then growing it low and in a spiral around the outside. In my head, I thought something like this could really push the limits of low stress training, especially when used on an autoflower where we have a limited time of vegetative growth. I didn't realize, at the time, JUST how effective the technique would be, but when the grower community on IG exploded over the sight of my plant, I started to get a feeling a did something right. As I was still only growing my second plant in my entire grow career, I was completely oblivious to the fact that I had pushed the normal boundaries of an autoflower.... I had nothing else to really compare it to. Nearly a year later, photos of my Budzilla are still being shared around social media in the grow community and I still get asked regularly about how I grew her. And with that, we start here on the journey to attempt the recreation of my former masterpiece. But I'm taking it one step further and giving you a detailed, step-by-step guide so that even the newest of growers can follow along and learn how to push an autoflower to its beautiful edge. Day 65 : officially 1st day of flush . Changed the reservoir with fresh water and 1.2g/5 gallons of Yucca extract and 5ml/gallon of Cleanex from Botanicare . Day 68- I did some defoliate. Few more days until harvest.

Little bit of a delay. Wanted to get climate perfect before the flip. Upgraded ventilation and have the tent dialed in well at 74 degrees and 60% humidity during day and 70deg/ 55% at night. Started a second scrog on Day 42. Nervous about the stretch but hopefully I can maintain it (I wish T5 lights could flower...) Did extensive trimming underneath clearing pretty much anything that will never reach the ceiling of green above it. Day 45 marks last day of Veg Day 46 marks first day of flower AND. HERE. WE. GO.
