I brought a few bottles of good wine from Italy to celebrate the good harvests with friends. This evening, we'll be opening a nice Valdobbiadene prosecco to celebrate this harvest, which is a feast for the eyes: LA KUSH CAKE by Zamnesia - We're talking about a California-caliber strain in every way, beyond the name: resin, flower firmness, and a full Kush Mint style are all present and clearly visible, giving the buds a truly Californian feel. Only Snoop is missing because he's in Italy for the Olympics. We have spectacular dark foliage at the end that literally makes my eyes go crazy with joy; I couldn't stop taking pictures, I can't stop looking at the photo and video. The plant looks a lot like the Black Diamond in that magnificent dark phenotype I found, and also like an epic Runtz pheno I recently had, all documented in the diaries. If you want, have fun looking for them. I can't help but think of and mention the legendary King's Tart by Greenhouse, which was hybridized from LA Kush Cake, and when my friend Gabriele sent it to me for the first time, telling me it was special because it was hybridized with a super Californian... I'm truly embarrassed by its beauty, like when a beautiful girl talks to me and makes me blush. And I have to tell you, it's not even the best; there are two more epic ones on the way. Maturity - The pistils have looked super ripe for a long time, especially the top ones, which are very red, and we're still over 90%. The trichomes are roughly 30% amber, 50% cloudy/milky, and 20% transparent, more or less naturally, but I think it's perfectly fine; it looks super ripe. The flowers are all of the highest quality, and the yield is average. They aren't giant, but they are firm and very firm. The overall shape of the plant is truly splendid. It was harvested correctly at the right time, naturally. Techniques chosen: As mentioned, the plant was left to grow freely and beautifully. We went 100% organic and 1000% Plagron, as always. The soil we chose is the recently launched Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us to start with more gradual and reliable watering, without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. A week of soil is sufficient, so don't overdo it. Now you can with Zamnesia's LA Kush Cake. Originally bred by Seed Junky Genetics from a Wedding Cake and a Kush Mints, this indica-dominant strain produces large quantities of resin-coated buds, rich in sweet terpenes and a relaxing effect. LA Kush Cake seeds produce stocky plants that thrive in any environment. Indoors, they require only 8-9 weeks of flowering to produce dense, trichome-rich buds with a pine-like structure and very compact calyxes. Outdoors, LA Kush Cake can be harvested in early October. Plants produce up to 600 g/m² indoors and 850 g/plant outdoors. In the right conditions, LA Kush Cake can develop intense purple hues that accentuate its allure. As you open the jars of these buds, you'll notice a wave of pungent vanilla terpenes wafting through the air, balanced by spicy notes of pepper and mint. Whether you smoke or vape, you'll be instantly intoxicated by its distinctive flavor, with a velvety, creamy aftertaste followed by a powerful yet functional high. Enjoy a relaxing effect that will melt away any tension while keeping your mind clear: perfect for unwinding, enhancing intimacy, or simply enjoying a pleasant smoke. If you need to stay focused, you can: LA Kush Cake relaxes the body while leaving the mind clear and focused, making it the ideal choice for experienced smokers seeking a dynamic and active euphoria that lasts all day. Want to try a potent, productive, and delicious strain? Don't wait: buy LA Kush Cake seeds now and start growing her premium buds at home. You know it, but I recommend it: here you'll find so many wonderful things, practically "all the best nature has to offer." Day 28 flower, things are doing well, humidity and heat are stable, plucking off leafs as I go along now anything blocking bud sites. I'm on week 7 of the biobizz feed schedule full dose, these girls not showing any nute burn or stress so far either I could probably push them more. Day 33 from flip. Heat and humidity are under control. Sitting at 27°c and 40-47% humidity with lights on. And 20°c and 47% humidity lights off. Ph levels on feeds and watering is 6.5, there really loving the biobizz range and the marshydro tsl2000 combo. So today the plants are getting fatter and nice and dense. Its super sticky and stacking on trichomes. These 3 beans came from The same pack, and each one smells diffrent. Closest pheno is a really lemon citrus smell and its strong. Middle pheno is like a sherberty smell and really tickles the 👃. Pheno 3 at the back is like a lemon skunk, really pungent and its got the fattest buds so far too. Day 34 flower, Feeding molasses today in 6.5ph water, I will start the next week tomorrow and will be starting on week 8 of the bio bizz nutes schedule. Thanks for all your support so far. Keep on growing

Keep giving inspiration to grow! -The Projexx Day#50F Pictures N/A. Ladies are starting to slow down on new pistol growth and focusing on ripening up. Day#51F Watered ladies 6L each at 160PPM. We've began flushing them. Day#52F PGC#1 leaves starting to turn quite purple, Banana Krumble still has a while to go. Checking trichomes tomorrow. Day#53F Pictures N/A. Watered ladies 6L each at 160PPM. PGC#1 trichomes are doing well mostly cloudy little amber, Banana Krumble still has lots of time to go and PGC#2 is almost ready displaying lots of amber and lots of milky trichomes gonna give her a few more days. Day#54F Pictures N/A. Banana Krumble still thickening up , PGC#2 is looking quite ready and PGC#1 is far behind her sister! Day#55F Harvested PGC#2. Watered ladies 6L at 160PPM. PGC#1 is turning more purple by the day quite the lovely show! Day#56F Pictures N/A. Banana Krumble still thickening up but displaying more orange pistols , she's gonna be a 70 - 77 day girl but I'll get big rewards! PGC#1 ripening up daily! Recap: Over all things went super well this week! We harvested the smallest plant in the room and ended up with almost 500G of wet weight roughly 6-7 ounces off that plant dry, she smells very very gassy with light hints of candy and fruit very pleasing combination to say the least. We are coming up on the finish line quickly for this project Im excited to see what the other plants will yield!

The Penultimate Week – Hunting Terpenes 🍇👃 We’ve officially hit Week 10, the second to last week of this run, and we are pushing these ladies to the absolute limit! Even though some of these phenos didn't live up to expectations, I'm not cutting any corners. We are dragging them to the finish line to squeeze out every single drop of resin and maximize the terpene profile. The aroma is shifting nicely, getting deeper and more complex by the day. Just maintaining a steady cruise control right now, watching the trichomes closely, and waiting for that perfect window to chop. Almost there. Next stop: the final week! 🏁✂️

🥒 Project Blue Tent – Week 4 Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Pheno A (Folder 14A) Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from Project Blue Tent! 💙🌱 For anyone joining this journey for the first time, this project follows four individual plants, each documented in its own diary from seed to harvest. Although every plant shares the exact same environment, nutrients, lighting, and care, each one is given the opportunity to tell its own unique story and reveal how its genetics express themselves. Today we're catching up with Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Plant A. ⸻ 🌱 Week Four – Recovery and New Beginnings Last week marked an important milestone when Plant A received her very first topping. This week, however, was all about patience. After performing a high-stress training technique, I always prefer giving the plant time to recover before asking anything more of her. Rather than continuing with additional training, I simply let nature do its job while carefully observing how she responded. Sometimes, the best thing a grower can do is... nothing. Looking at her now, it's safe to say she appreciated that decision. The recovery has been outstanding. The two new leading shoots have quickly taken over, growth has remained vigorous throughout the entire plant, and the side branches are now pushing with much greater determination than before. The change in architecture is already becoming obvious, with the canopy beginning to widen naturally as the plant redirects its energy away from a single dominant tip. It's always rewarding to watch such a dramatic transformation from one small cut. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions Consistency continues to be one of the biggest priorities inside Project Blue Tent. Stable environmental conditions allow the plants to recover quickly from training while encouraging continuous vegetative growth. Average conditions this week were: • 🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C • 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C • 💧 Relative humidity: 67% • 🥥 Root zone temperature: 24°C • 💦 Nutrient solution: 18°C • ⚗️ pH: 5.8 • ⚡ EC: 1.88 mS/cm • 💨 CO₂: approximately 450 ppm • 💡 Light schedule: 18/6 With the Phytonaut LED providing an even spread across the canopy, the plants continue receiving all the energy they need while maintaining compact internodal spacing and healthy vegetative growth. ⸻ 🥥 Feeding Adjustments As mentioned in the previous updates, all four plants developed a slightly lighter shade of green during the last couple of weeks. Although their posture remained excellent and growth never slowed down, I felt they were asking for just a little more nutrition. Rather than waiting for deficiencies to appear, I increased the base feeding slightly. Current nutrition now consists of: • Plagron Hydro A — 1.8 ml/L • Plagron Hydro B — 1.8 ml/L • Plagron Hydro Roots — 1 ml/L By the end of this week I was already beginning to notice a richer, healthier green returning to the newest foliage across the entire tent, suggesting the adjustment was exactly what the plants were asking for. One of the things I'm really enjoying about growing in coco is how quickly the plants respond to small, measured changes. ⸻ 🌿 Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Plant A This phenotype continues to impress me every single week. The recovery after topping has been remarkably smooth, and it's already clear that the plant has shifted into a completely different growth pattern. The two new main leaders are developing beautifully, while the lower branches are accelerating as they receive more energy than they would have under normal apical dominance. Instead of growing upward through one dominant stem, the plant is now beginning to spread outward, creating the broad, balanced framework I'm hoping to build before introducing the SCROG later in the grow. The stems continue to thicken nicely, the internodal spacing remains tight, and the foliage has maintained excellent posture throughout the week. Although she's still carrying that slightly lighter shade of green, the improvement in colour over the last few days is already noticeable, and her overall posture tells the real story. Leaves are praying toward the light. Growth is continuous. The plant simply looks happy. ⸻ 🔍 Looking Ahead Next week should be another exciting step forward. With the topping now fully recovered, I expect both new leaders to begin stretching more aggressively while the side branches continue filling out the canopy. For now, I'll continue allowing the plant to develop naturally, avoiding unnecessary stress and simply monitoring her structure as she prepares for the next stage of vegetative growth. Every week these genetics reveal a little more of their personality, and Plant A is becoming exactly the kind of bushy, well-balanced plant I was hoping to create. ⸻ 💙 Thank You A huge thank you goes to Zamnesia for making Project Blue Tent possible, from these fantastic Pickle Lemon Haze F1 genetics to the complete ecosystem surrounding this grow. A sincere thank you as well to Plagron for providing the Premium Coco Growbags together with the Hydro nutrient line that continues supporting healthy growth every step of the way. Thank you to GrowDiaries for providing a place where growers from around the world can document their journeys, share experiences, and continue learning from one another. And finally, thank you to everyone following along. Whether you've been here since germination, recently discovered these diaries, leave comments every week, quietly follow in the background, or simply enjoy watching these ladies grow, your support genuinely means a lot. Project Blue Tent is about sharing the complete journey—the successes, the lessons, the experiments, and everything in between. I hope you're all having an amazing week, and I look forward to seeing you again in the next update as these beautiful ladies continue their adventure. Until next time... Growers Love, happy growing, and take care everyone! 🌱💙

During week 7 the 3 plants continue to grow outstandingly well! The BADAZZ-CHEESE and ZHEETOS from BIG BUDDHA SEEDDS have a healthy green color and grow so much foliage that I have to defoliate on a regular basis. On day 43 (=flowering day 19) I take off all bigger fan leaves in order to ensure a better airflow thru the closet. The humidity is unfortunately still on the high side and sometimes exceeds 80% in the daily maximum, that is MUCH too high during flowering. I increased the dose of BIO NOVA nutrients according to their feeding scheme and all plants LOVE IT! The ZHEETOS #1 plant grows much taller than her sister ZHEETOS #2, therefore I decide to SUPER-CROP her on Day 48 (=FD 23). This technique developed by SOMA from SOMA-SEEDS is one of my favorites and I use it since years in order to bush out plants, which grow to high. Appr. 15-20 cm from the top of the plant, right above an internode, I take the main stem between two fingers and press very hard until I can feel the fibres inside the stem brake. By slowly pressing all around the diameter of the stem I create a weak spot at which I bend over the stem, so it looks 90-180 degrees downward. I do this very carefully to NOT BRAKE the outer skin of the stem while I bend the stem downwards. Even if some fibres brake, the stem will repair itself within a few days to a week and then start to point upwards again...👍😃 During the time the main stem needs to repair itself, all other side-stems will grow more upwards and this makes the plant bush out more. At the same time a super-cropped plant will produce bigger buds at harvest time, than a plant where you did not do that. Somehow the plant reacts to being hurt by getting stronger and producing more! CHECK OUT THE VIDEO ABOVE TO SEE ME SUPER-CROP! 😎 I also took a video ONE DAY after the procedure (on DAY 49), in order to show how resilient the plant is and how much she immediately repairs herself. Already then the main top has turned and points upwards to the light again, ITS FANTASTIC TO SEE! Simply a miracle plant...

Nov. 5 - start of week 6 and this grows so far gone off without a hitch. Third node on each side come’n out now so expect to be topping some time this week. Until then it’s all keepn er spread and low until we have our last 4 tops. The clone experiment is a 2/3’ds fail. The last one is hangn in there but probably just dying slower than the other 2. THANKS FOR CHECKn er out. More pics and video to follow.👊👍😎👌 Nov. 6 update - photos and weekly vid uploaded. Added a little blurb about topping in response to a fellow grower's question. This community rocks and the constant support and advice from everyone is greatly appreciated. Cheers y'all!😎👊✊ Nov. 7 update - so I lied and she stretched out from her second nodes over night. Bent er down a little and reset the thing ties. Alls good! Nov. 10 update - they’re drinking a consistent 3L a piece on a 3:1 nute feed to ph/calmag only regimen and loving it. Trimmed off some fan leaves dragging in the dirt and covering the first set of tips. Was hoping to top again this week but it’s starting to look more and more like next week at the this point. That 4th node just hasn’t stretched stretched out enough yet. Alls good!👍 Background After the batshit nonsense with this years outdoor grows getting jacked, I need some kush and I need it fast! This girls an indoor grow in the cabinet and she'll be manifolded and defo'd for 8-10 fat ass colas. They’ll spend a first week or so under a cfl assembly while the last harvest dries out in the cabinet. This grow is going to be nute sched. heavy and will hopefully test the limits of my smaller grow space (2sq/ft). Ive had my eye on a critical & kush cross for awhile and really looking forward to seeing this one grow out. Thanks for take'n a peek, stayed tuned, and happy grow'n folks! 👊

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. How does your body and mind react on this shit for money?!?! May I invite you to think about it… See you next week dear Growmies! Have a nice Weekend and take care… Peace out! Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. We come and go. But it's not there yet. ;-) Tomorrow is day 56. Tomorrow’s updating day! Can't wait to see their progress. Have a good time and see you tomorrow… 🏽🕊️ 🏽 ☮️🕊️
