Lowered the hours as it's pretty hot and moved the time schedule by a few hours. Lights on at 5PM lights out at 7am keeping them in veg but allowing for heat management. Slow growth all round really think my lights could be lower, as the heats more manageable I may leave my 450W blue CFL plugged in. I've turned it on and off as the Temperature shot up. 26°c outside now so may have to flower early if it doesn't cool down a bit. Liking the Kalini Asia's growth structure a true Indica for sure!

Switched it up to 600w on the digital ballast. Plants really love the extra heat. 2 plants hermied unfortunately so they were "Outta There" Which left me with 4 healthy stretch ladies. Still no loud smell yet but it's got something there. We got some likkle buds too 😍 Girls are doing well they took well to the foliar spray I was applying twice a week. They are loving the extra space to stretch it seems. Feeding with water this week to regulate ppm within substrate. Proud parent 👏 See you guys next week Be good Stanton..

She is going to be huuuuuge! All branches and stems have risen up and are strengthening daily in order to produce big resin filled flowers! The buds are still growing and I have already discovered the first amber-coloured trichomes on Bruce Banner and S.A.D. #4. I think the harvest will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Until then, I will continue to observe the trichomes with the microscope.

They could be in pot for 1 more week but I really need my weed right now 😂 100% cloudy but no amber

Week 7 is over. They are more than ready for flowering. In 3-4 days I'll have free bloom tent and will transfer them there and flip to 12/12. Most of them are doing very good - slight VPD issues but will be corrected. Strawberry Cough still the biggest even after double topping and bending. Still looks weak-ish though. Stems and branches are very flexible comparing to other plants. Grandpa's Cookies #6 are a failure. I'll see but I probably will discard it. It's very underdeveloped - small, slender, willowy. Leaves are still weird - it didn't grow out of it.

This was the last week of flowering and therefore I stopped giving any nutrients for a good FLUSH. This is very important in order to avoid a harsh smoke later when the plants are dried, because any nutrients left in the plant will burn your throat and the weed will hurt while you smoke it. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have developed well and carry hefty top buds on each side branch and also the main cola. The lower regions also carry buds, but those are a little more fluffy and not so big and dense as the top buds. Every bud is COVERED IN TRICHOMES and the plants glisten in the light, they are FROSTY AS HELL! The plants have a STRONG AROMA now, which is sweet and peachy with hints of sandalwood. They smell ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and I cant wait to try the dried end-product. All in all I can only recommend this strain, its not the biggest yielder, but definitely delivers connoisseur grade weed. Hats off to Mat from House of the Great Gardener in Canada, he has made another GREAT cross and I hope he will release this variety soon! 👍😍😎

Hello This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. Everyone is doing good here. They have overcome their repotting experience and are growing a bit now. Getting those top branches spread out and under that first rung of the cage. I'll push the smaller branches up through the middle of the plant while spreading out the upper branches. They are getting about 3/4 strength nutrient now. Still watering it down a bit. The seed description said these seeds produce big plants, so I'm doing what I can to keep the size down to manageable. Ok, so I forgot to take any pics on week two and holiday time week 3 came up real fast. so we are going to skip over any of the week two details. just watered em and they grew. This week we did a nice little transplant into their final 2gal pots. Fortified with a bunch of amendments and Acti-Sol, everything is listed in the video. Any question just let me know. I don't age my medium at all and I think I should start doing this to avoid some other things, I just find it hard to do it in winter time indoors as soil can be stinky with amendments and I like it to stay in the tent under the carbon filter. Medium I used is 40% coir, 30% perlite, 20% compost, 10% vermiculite and 10% worm castings. Then the amendments are added into that at the rate of 30-60ml per 1Gal of medium. This batch has Gaia 4-4-4, Gaia Insect Frass, Giaia Diatomaceous Earth, Gaia Rock Dust, Acti-Sol Seaweed Meal, Acti-Sol Shrimp/Crab Meal, Acti-Sol 4-3-2, Acti-Sol 4-6-8 and Bokashi. Nice little mix, water it in with a bit of magnesium and microbes dissolved into the water. The bokashi should help break everything down and make a bit of a acidic environment for all the meals and rock dust to become available. Roots looked good, not a dense as some runs but still nice. I feel the soil might be a bit hot so will expect some burnage on them hopefully its nothing to crazy. Will ph down with a mix of citric, malic and ascorbic acids. They are in a rate of something like 50-60%/40-30%/5-10%, its written down in my of my notes just can't find the pad ATM. Also more videos vs anything this week. I like em more but processing them is annoying AF. Side note, my lights timer was on 12/12 not 16/8 so it explains why they went into bloom, switch it back and will top the plants next week one they start to reverse their ways and get comfortable in the new pots. Also got ride of the chive seed start as it was looking sad, plus I got a bunch of European chive varieties in the mail yesterday and want to try them out. see if they really have any different taste and what ones I like better. Permanent Bluez is well into flower now , smelling sweet and starting to get sticky. Love the shape she’s taking , multiple bud sites all looking healthy and chunky . I’ll keep tightening the tie wire and giving her room to chunk up as she naturally wants to . Sit back and enjoy the ride over the next month or so .

Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

We entered the second week of cultivation happily with good news the plants are recovering from the overfert. Growth is evolving # G4 was the one that had the most damage with the overfert its leaves were very damaged but despite everything it seems to have a minimum growth always to be worse.Great news at the end of the second week with 20 days it is clear that the plants have recovered from the overfert now is to focus because the plants are doing their part well.
