12 days to full transplantable roots. Right on schedule as expected. Moved 6 of the 12 clones (1 per plant) into a new 45L Rez that I cobbled together in an evening. Just small enough to fit into the cabinet. Hopefully the roots don’t choke each other out for territory while we work to reveg, re-flower and ultimately seed em all for the new F3 line. We’ll pick the best buds from the lot for the next testing run once we see what the pheno variation looks like from the main run in the tent. It’s a process and annoyance not to be yielding bud off a grow cycle but it is what it is if you want your own signature stuff. Alls good for now. Let’s just hope that the 6 coats of paint I threw on the lid is enough to keep out the grow light penetration🤞. Shoulda used black, whatever.

Oggi solo 3,5L di acqua demineralizzata, non esageriamo con i nutrimenti anche se le ultime due irrigazioni con soluzione nutritiva hanno evidenziato una buona assimilazione e la mancanza di segnali da "over fertilizzazione". Si prosegue con LST anche se gli steli stanno iniziando il processo di lignificazione e quindi bisogna prestare maggior attenzione. Tra qualche giorno dovrò sicuramente allegerire la pianta dalle foglie in eccesso nella zona centrale per favorire la circolazione dell'aria Ph: 6.5 Ppm: 18 mS/cm: 0.037 Temp. soluzione: 22° 04/02/2022. Nach einer Woche Nährstoff Lockout durch zu viel Wasser haben sich die Ladys wieder erholt und trotzdem ca 5 cm zugelegt. Ich habe jetzt 6 Tage nicht gegossen und morgen gibt es nur 1,5 Liter und am Montag nochmal 1 Liter. Dann dürfen sie wieder 4 Tage davon zehren. Danach sollten die Wurzeln stark genug und angewachsen sein, um mit den geplanten 2,5 Liter Wasser weiter zu gießen. Dann ca alle 3 Tage bis Woche 5 und dann gießen nach Plan auf biologischer Erde - ca 1/3 des Topfvolumens pro Gießgang. Man kann an manchen Stellen den Mg/Ca Lockout gut erkennen. Bin gespannt wie es weiter geht. 🤞 Stofftöpfe ist eine neue Erfahrung für mich 🌱🌿💚 Keep on growing 💚

Both seeds came out quick and vigorous, I hade to leave for three days and left the tent closed and the humidity went through the roof, I think this caused the leaves to twist up a little but at this moment I am not very concerned about that, Based on the other strains I did from the Sherbinskis Humboldt line, I am expecting a bit longer vegitation period, so a minimum of 6 weeks, depending on how they develop, The Bilberry Lamp is making a great impression I must say, the special grow spectrum in full effect. Hope they go good, fingers crossed 👍

Flowering day 70 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Welcome to Week 6, Day 42 for the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow. All four of these lovely ladies are now fully into flower and the tent has filled up considerably. Even though this grow cycle is not going to produce the XL plants I was originally hoping for, this strain seems to have a lot of bud sites compared to other autos I have grown previously. Had these plants reached their full potential- I truly believe that this could/would have been a massive harvest. I fertilized them again in Week 6 with their final dose of a Grow based formula at 2 mls/gallon. They will be switched over a Bloom based fertilizer in Week 7 at a rate of 2.5 mls/gallon. I am still watering every 4th day and all four plants are receiving 3 litres each or 0.75 of a litre per plant per day. There is something killing off the foliage from the bottom up on the plant in the front of the tent on the left hand side. Not sure what the problem is so I am simply removing the dead/dying foliage as needed and hoping that she’ll have enough leaves to make it through to harvest. Mom’s Tip for Week #6- When it comes to Fertilizer- $Less$ = More… For me, successfully growing Cannabis indoors means trying to mimic what nature normally provides for free. Sun, fresh air, water and nutrient rich soil are all essential for healthy, happy plants. At some point during the grow (usually 4-6 weeks in) the plant has used up all of the nutrients originally present in the soil thus requiring the grower to have to supplement with some type of fertilizer. I see many growers photographing and showing off their huge displays of colourful bottles and I gasp when I read their long lists of 10-15 different fertilizers and supplements being added to every single batch of water. Not only is this unbelievably expensive and overwhelming but time consuming and completely unnecessary for a successful grow. For those seeking an Organic path there are options such as homemade compost tea or powdered formulas consisting of bat guano, glacial rock dust, bone meal, alfalfa meal, etc. I often use a Canadian made brand called “Gaia Green Organics", mixed in at the start to create my own super soil thus carrying the plants through their first 4-6 weeks of life needing nothing more than PH’d water. The organic fertilizers are usually more expensive and often have a slower uptake by the plants themselves as they tend to feed the soil first which in turn feeds the plants. For novice/newbie growers and those with fast flowering strains such as Autos- a non organic, liquid, water soluble fertilizer is often the way to go. They are generally cheap, easy to use and quickly taken up by the plants when they need it most. My ride or die brand is "Flora Nova” by General Hydroponics and it comes in a 1 part nutrient grow and bloom formula catering to my plants’ needs from start to finish. This company has many options available including all kinds of additional supplements to be used in conjunction with their standard grow/bloom formulas but I’ve never found these products all that necessary or beneficial. Using them in the past has led to over fertilization resulting in burnt foliage, stunted bud development and harsh flavours when smoking/vaping the final product. Not only does $Less is More$ apply to how many fertilizers you are giving your plants but it also applies to how much. Most photosensitive strains can easily tolerate a full dose (as per the manufacturer’s recommendations) and thrive with being fed every time you water. But Autoflowers and some smaller photosensitive strains seem to respond differently to a slight tweak- keeping in mind that if you start small, you can always add more but if you start big, you can’t take back what’s already been given. I will generally only fertilize at half of what the manufacturer recommends for a photosensitive strain- every other or every second watering. Starting out at a quarter dose for the initial feeding which can sometimes be as low as 1.25 mls per gallon and working my way up from there. It doesn’t seem like much but within hours I can see my plants responding positively with increased/sustained turgor, greening up a little and increased resin production which equals "smell/scent". For me, I can smell when I’ve just fertilized my plants- it’s a stronger smell than the normal scent that they give off with a plain watering. If you’re lucky, you’ll end up growing a greedy Autoflowering strain that seems to want more than what you’re giving it. Rather than increasing to a higher dose in a single feeding, try feeding more often at the same dose- so if you’re feeding every other or every second watering, try feeding every watering at the same dose (trying not to increase above half of the manufacturer’s recommendation for the photo strains). Occasionally I will increase beyond the halfway dose to accommodate for the plants’ needs in late flower as most fertilizer companies list an increase to adequately feed during late flower anyhow. I guess the main message for this week is to keep it simple as nature intended. Learn to read your plants and supplement the small amount of nutrients that your plants don’t already have in the high quality soil you initially provided. Cannabis cultivation can be overwhelming at first but the $Less is More$ approach will save you time, money and the realization that you’ve accidentally fried your plants!

Day 16: New grow week and took some sitting time to kind of adjust the soil and plant locations within the tent. Like I said in the beginning didn't fill the pots so kind of scooped out soil to a stand-bye pot and compressed the soil some near the stalks. I got so really nice healthy stalks that I'm gonna post so check em. Been probably overfeeding but at this point I need nutrient's and these ladies seem to be taking it pretty well so not really worried about it and adding GREASE into my batch of feeding this week. I left a gallon of pre-mix in the tent and am a bit worried so kind of went for a fresh batch and tossed the one sitting in the tent.(Damn it) Raised the light's also just because I want them to reach up. I love to stockiness of my plants right now but need more height. 8ish..got a great pair of paring scissors so trimmed and topped my girls...not sure if that was a good move this early in the grow but this is where the learning and experience comes from I guess. Leaving one alone to have comparisons. Think I'm gonna leave em be for a few and see what happens! Day 17: greeting growth spurts like "wow" Finished off second week batch with a all around watering using a 2 cup pouring cup. Giving each plant about 1 1/2 cups per plant around the main stem outwards. Gonna be mixing my 3rd week feeding probably with 2morrows watering of VPT sesezym and Carbo load for watering but no feeding until Sunday afternoon. Day 18: The gloves are off and I'm swinging for the fences at this point. Watering every day it seems like just trying to keep thing moist and in growth. Watering diameter increasing and going for bottom root watering if that makes any sense. I knocked over one of my babies twice and she is soo rooted, didn't even phase her so think my stems are pretty strong. Took away the milk crate training wheels and giving my plants healthy doses of nutrients to keep them vegging out. Day 19: 7ish Heavy feeding and went up on all my nutrients to full 8ml per gallon. I have 7 plants and usually go through that gallon per feeding at this point. Expanding the watering and not quite to the edges yes but sure i'll be there in a few days give or take. Sat with the plants while watering listening to B.M. and just enjoying the expressions and melodies of life while learning the finer points of growing. os Clipped my tops and am getting those branches to grow out so happy about that. I was a bit nervous seeing those pretty tops laying in the dirt but was happy to see the results of the training. Gonna start with a bit of twine training in the comings days and watching for cal and mag deficiencies as I go. I see a few leaves looking a bit off color so will mist in the coming days. On another note got a pack of Fast Flowers from 420Fastbuds!!!! The Buds look soooo beautiful and enticing that I just couldn't resist!!! My next grow is gonna be so legit!!!! Day 20: lightly misted with some Golden Goddess and gonna seszyme vpt with AE,GI,MT rhino and b2....not alot since soil moist but enough on the outsides to keep the root zone going. Plants are getting really bushy and snipping but not too much. Day 21: Watering today and just thinking bout this 4th week. Watering with some sensi cal. Also going for another humidifyer in tha tent for more even humidification. My plants look pretty strong but looking for more roots to get bigger plants. Gonna stay with the vtp mix. I got 5gallon pot so we got the space. Didn't put any clay @ bottom of my pots so once these pots flush, hope I get good drainage. Been defoliating...smh. like trimming my hair always too much so just hitting the bottom parts of plants so that they can get air. 8ish: thinking I may need to go up on my PH a bit just to prevent my roots from locking from all the nutrition. I want them to be able to get all these nutrients in a get some decent sized plants. Not sure if it's the cutting of the lower fan leaves. Just have to wait until morning to see how my plants respond.

the last week was really sunny again, which of course pleased the beautiful plant very much. in the last week she only got fertiliser once. biobizz top-max, bloom and grow. 24 hours before the harvest, she was given an ice-cold rinse and a few ice cubes. (does that really help?) the buds have grown very compact and firm. the odour is intense. wet weight at the end was 159 grams. but measured generously. all in all i am very satisfied with the grow. at the beginning she had to fight with the german weather, but she has survived all strains and stress.

Shes pretty but dont think it will fatten up much, smells very fruity tropical with a hint of sour, love the golden hue to the resin. Stretch ended at 51cm from the top of the pot, I had to backfill some coco so its probably more like 60cm. Started adding canna pk 13/14 at 1ml/l for now will upto 1.5ml/l after a few days and end the pk addition after 7 days from starting.

Fruit Automatic - Dinafem Segunda semana de cultivo. Tengo muchas expectativas con esta variedad de Dinafem. He visto cultivos de compañeros realmente buenos y espero llegar!!! A mediados de la segunda semana se la implementado los nutrientes que aparecen reflejados. Además, aportando quelato de hierro para estimular la clorofila de la planta y tierra de diatomeas para prevenir futuras plagas terrestres. Al igual que sus dos compañeras de viaje, crece por día y sana.

F week 3. It gets really bushy. I had to do a second defoliation. At this point everything seems to go well.

02/02 - Day 30 Like clock work, wk 5 is here and flowers are growing everywhere. Growth is still going strong with (A) leading the pack along with (B) & (D) not far behind. Noticed a little tip burn but doesn’t seem to be spreading. 02/05 - Day 33 The girls are still showing explosive growth and putting out more pistils. A little concerned about (B) bright green leaves and (D) having some spots on an upper leaf. Maybe some light stress? Raised the light as high as possible, definitely going to LST for an even canopy next time.
