Whats up GD !!! ------------- GROWTH------------- Topped both plants, the bigger one, it is 3 days younger than the other, and seems to have faster development, more vigorous.. I think the reasons could be the pheno or the level of root development, i ll explain it : C#1 was in a yogurth as seen on photos and having all the sun. C#2 was in a wider recipient, lower in height, and in a room with poor light. I watered both plants at the same time, C#2 got curvy leaves when watered, i think maybe she likes near dry soil, or cant handle that level of humidity in the roots ... in my opinion she has less developed roots and the pot hadnt enought holes to let the air come in, the oposite of C#1, that seems to handle better humidity and is eating all she can, getting fluorescent green below sunlight. Both plants have same feeding and soil composition. ------------- IRRIGATION------------- Watered both ladies, around 0.2-0.3l each one with Deeper Underground. ------------- NUTRIENTS------------- Tall cheese C#1 : Deeper underground 1ml/l Short cheese C#2 : Deeper underground 1ml/l + Micro Vita (it only had Canna Pro soil ) --------------------------------------- Good vibes !! _12/04/2018_

Started the first top dressing of Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom at a 50/50 ratio of 1tbsp/gal each.

Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred. I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼. My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash. After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity. I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways. I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar. The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell. So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂. Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others. The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things. Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!

(Week 36) installed another oscillating fan to dry up top soil faster. Started getting allot of knats also realized that vacummingnuo my stagnant water is definitely the way to go. Finally feel like im getting back to normal!

Quebec Blast is starting to bulk. I did a solution change today. Hopefully I didn't go too strong. She is growing in a New Level Hydro bucket, under a Spider Farmer SE5000 light. It is her start of 5th week of flowering. Everything is going as normal. Solution changes about 3 to 4 days apart. Day 57 about to do my first schwazz Day 60 did a heavy defoliation. Not quite a schwazz. Almost Filled a 2 gallon bucket up with clippings a lot more light and air penetration is available. I think she’ll bounce back nicely Day 64. As the week comes to an end. I am very pleased with the progress. Canopy is nice and even. You can’t tell which one is the main cola. And for a little 300 watt light even the lower flowers are getting pretty dense. Still a long way to go. I would imagine this one will take over 90 days before see Amber. But we shall see

This beautiful hazey lady looked ready for the take down, and since I had some time on my hands , thats exactly what I did, she was smelling very nice and rich , Ive got her hanging to dry atm, but im looking very forward of giving her a taste once she's dried and cured. En este diario cultivaré la genética de dición limitada del banco GB Strains bajo una luminaria LED de mars hydro, la sp 150, que da unos 140 watts de potencia nominal y en espectro completo. El armario será un trafika de 60x60 y el medio de cultivo 11L de coco en maceta de plástico blanco. El coco va a ser un ladrillo de ugro de 3L hidratado con agua a ph de 5'5 y sin recirculación del agua. La germinación será en papel y usaré el seedboster de plagron ya que he leido varios casos de problemas en la germinación de esta genética y únicamente tengo 3 semillas y me gustaría gastar solamente una. Como novedad para los seguidores escribiré este diario en español, mi lengua nativa, dado que el banco de semillas GB Strains opera principalmente en España, y creo que también en Francia y me suena que Reino Unido, pero no estoy completamente seguro de eso y la idea es que sea lo más útil posible para otras personas. En cualquier caso recordad que en la parte izquierda de la página se pueden activar opciones de traducción a varios idiomas. Sobre la genética remarcar que el banco indica unos porcentajes de thc de 30-33%e n condiciones óptimas con un uso recomendado medicinal y con efecto de relajación intensa. Hace bastante tiempo (años) que no cultivo una genética fotodependiente pero espero no tener ningún problema Para los abonos utilizaré GHE/terra aquatica que ya he utilizado con muy buenos resultados (de momento) en mi primer intento con coco y añadiré también fulvic (o diamond nectar) de la misma casa Germinaré la semilla una vez tenga montado el armario de cultivo en los próximos días o semanas. Tambioén grabaré todo el ciclo y crearé video timelapse global y semanal para apreciar reacciones de la planta a estímulos y seguir mejorando la técnica La semilla ha germinado en 48 horas. La dejaré un poco más antes de moverla al jiffy de turba Ha tardado pero finalmente ha germinado la semilla y ya está en el jiffy en el armario. He usado el agua sobrante de mojar el papel para germinar para alimentarla estos primeros días. Cuando muestre sus primeras hojas (no cotiledones) empezaré con el abonado. Finalmente será la serie flora de GHE, no la específica de coco. Este es mi segundo intento con la genética, en el primero falló un programador de riego y generó problemas irrecuperables en la planta por lo que la deseché.

Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of my Sundae Driver which I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didnt do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I wont make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for the Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I dont need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep this ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so.
