Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be just starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium and all she'll be getting is straight water from here on out. I watered today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 0.75g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in roughly two weeks +/- but you never know... It always pays to let the trichomes tell you when it's time to harvest, not the breeder as they are only giving an approximate time due to the numerous factors that can affect the time of harvest. 10/10- Well, Week Seven has come, gone and we're one week closer to this girl finishing up! She's so freaking frosty now and starting to fade that she'll be testing my patience this week! I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of next week but we'll monitor her trichomes and let them be the guide... I can't wait! 🤩 I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Amazing progress across the board in the tent the last week. Development has been positive for The New and Black Dog, Bubba has swollen up bud wise, and it’s still another week away or so (flowering is supposed to be 50-55 and we’re at 50 today). Chemdawg smell is getting stronger but not too aggressive, and it’s fate king nicely on most colas. Even at the bottom of the plant the buds look nice. It’s an amazing strain, can’t wait to smoke it.

Definitely have some deficiencies going on, but she's stacking and pushing. Life's busy, next round will get a little more detail and love.

Las 5 semillas una vez germinadas son plantadas directamente en macetas de 5,5 litros y salieron las 5, 100% de éxito en el ratio. La tierra que utilizamos que está en la publicación anterior es top crop all mix, Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2, regando cada 48 horas e intentando mantener la humedad un poco alta al principio. Yesterday she was cut, run off ppms had been at zero for at least 4 days. For what this plant went through in terms of heat and humidity, I believe the outcome of roughly a kg wet is not too bad. Bud have a certain density to them but far away from what I prefer. However the presents of an abundance of Reepes is undeniable. ATM she smells very sweet with a hint of Creme and a bit of pine. She must be quite mold resistant, as the other plant in the tent with her was quite mold riddled and the Afghan didn’t catch anything in that tiny growspace.

Mientras tanto os comento ya en la recta final de estas Red Cookies Gelato, siendo sinceros están muy pepinas y bien resinadas, los cogollos van muy tricomados y están súper hinchados, pero comento también que la variedad no es del todo estable, es algo complicada tienes que estar pendiente de ellas cada día observar que no salga un macho porque de 100 plantas habrán salido 3 machos y alguna hermafrodita , son frágiles. Fue mi primer proyecto de cruce que aún así dentro de ser el primero a salido demasiado bien porque no esperaba ni resultados positivos pero ahí están y toda la gente que la probó, todos los que se molestaron en conocerla o interesarse por ella se agradece ,porque todos habláis muy bien de ella aún siendo así de frágil, se agradece y valora mucho vuestra opinión, Fieras. Voy hacer estrés hídrico, cada vez regaré menos cantidad para que no se mueran las plantas pero si dejen de comer de las raíces de la parte de abajo, aparte van amarilleando las hojas más rápido y mientras terminan de madurar. Hasta aquí es toda la semana y casi todo el cultivo como quien dice, así que buenos humos y hasta la semana que viene 💨💨💨

Just got a new 600w mh/hps light for now it’s in my current setup with my 250 n it’s dimmed to 50%, only reason I mention is b/c the plants seem to be loving it!! They’re 12 days old from seed, still just ph’d water for them! So far so good :P

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. At the beginning of the week I added a duct fan and ran a duct to the window for more fresh spring air. They seem to like it. After adding the air intake I didn't pay them much attention this week. I trusted the process They seem to be doing ok. I wonder?

Only took one video of both of my strains black moonflower and garlic fusion at week 5 you can find the other strains diary on my page they are doing good I topped week 5 and transplanted into 1 gallon . Looking alright the ones in the back are chic lit autoflowers from mendocino twenty twenty 5 weeks old topped and ones lst. Theese videos are before topping and after

We noticed this week that she's growing much faster and the side branches too. See the difference between the pictures April 18th - Topping view and April 20th- Topping view, and how much the side branches had grown. Other than that, it was a week without major events :) Sorry again for the pictures under the grow light.

How’s it looking?

Another great week for these girl, since very wet days surrounded Ontario, I brought these girls inside and flipped them into flower, now on a 12/12 light schedule. They look good and ready to begin blooming, I have top dressed these babies with Gaia Green Bloom 2-8-4 this organic fertilizer consists in fishbone meal, steamed bone meal, glacial rock dust, mined potassium sulphate, fossilized carbon complex, rock phosphate, greensand, kelp meal, gypsum, and bat guano.
