For just putting them outdoors 3 weeks ago, they've adjusted to the heat like a dream mid 90's and tripled in size. To think there's probably 4 more weeks of veg. These are going to get big. I might have to raise up the greenhouse or make it a convertible. I'm still just feeding well water, probably 2 liters, each straight from the hose daily. All in all Happy Growing

Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. Day 71 - Starting week 11 off with a bang and love the look and smell of this girl. She’s really starting to fatten up and and need her to start filling in more. Thinking about 2-3 weeks max before she’s ready to chop and looking forward to it. Gave her the first of her week 11 feedings today and might cut her off to just water starting week 12. Day 72 - No big changes or updates. She’s fattening up and filling in beautifully. Will most likely start flushing after the end of this week. Day 73 - Gave her a second feeding today and next one will be Saturday. All is looking great and thinking she’s in track to be chopped at the end of week 13 but will keep and eye on her. Still some clear trichs but a lot of milky in there. She looks gorgeous! Day 75 - Looks great and on track for a chop at the end of week 13. Gave her the last feeding today and will water with straight water and Sledgehammer from here on out to start flushing her out. Day 76 - Closing in on the end of week 11 and she’s just as pretty as ever. Gave her some water today as she seemed to be screaming for it. Will probably do one more week of feedings then flush her with sledgehammer during week 13 and she should be ready for chopping. Day 77 - Ending week 11 and looks great. Have a few leaves showing deficiencies but not sure if it’s because she’s coming to the end of her life or somethings missing. Runoff pH was a little high so worked to correct that today, we’ll see if that helps. If not, she’s only got 2 weeks left.

And, what the phylaxien! I mean they re unnormal. Never seen phylaxien growing so massive (i mean pls look at one phylaxie., i think theyre big,) and then as FAST they go brown. Boah difficult to explain. I checked the soil. Wet enough. Looking my Gelato 41 FAST. She is everywhere healthy. I read this is a monster genetic But to see, how it grows! This strain is (so far) different from all the others i made with before. First its a photo. (accidently because I'm a idiot) Than 2 weeks untrained growing. Than not vey lovefull i showed her her new grow direction. And the smell. Of Gelato 41 fast is.. The smell of Gelato, 41 fast. Heavy smell on your fingers from everywhere. I knewed it before that they will take only energy from the GELATO 41 FAST. But holy mother earth, she got enough of this.POWER! Hoping this will be complete in next 2 to 3 weeks. Than have to cure. Lower leaves have issues. Top leaves look good. Day 50 increased nutes to max 1.2ml each per 500ml water. Ph6.6. Watered 250ml to see any damage tomo. Run off from soil ph came to 6.4. Day 51 watered 250ml from balance Day 52 watered 100ml watered with nutes ph6.6 Day 53 watered 200ml from balance and lowered lights to 45cm from 80cm. Hopefully more growth tomorrow 🙏

Apart from the blistering heat and 44km/h winds daily id say she's comin along nicely.loving the high ppms and sunlight however the sun has been very hot these past few weeks of summer so there are signs of heat stress as well.

1/8/2023: chop day for the Newberry! Like the other plants, I will be drying the whole plant, along with the Orange Bubblegum in a 2x2 AC Infinity tent, with the temp and humidity as close as I can get to 60° F and 60% humidity. The portable AC unit and humidifier do a good job keeping me in range. This was very easy plant to grow. Other than a few nanners the last week in flow, I had no problems with her. Smells amazing and looks amazing too. Can't wait to try growing this one again.

Week 7: Flowering Stage Rising Temperatures and Growth The weather has taken a positive turn, with temperatures rising again. This change should promote some nice growth in the ladies. The increase in warmth will help accelerate bud development, and I expect to see significant progress in the coming days. Nitrogen Toxicity Banana Purple Punch After the initial intervention two days ago, the situation has not worsened. I am monitoring the growth of the newly emerging leaves to ensure they do not continue to curl downward. The pH level of the runoff looks good, sitting exactly in the ideal range (6). I hope the plant recovers quickly and that growth and yield are not adversely affected. Feeding and Watering Adjustments With the warmer weather, I have adjusted my watering schedule to ensure the plants remain hydrated. I’m now giving each 11-liter pot 3 liters of nutrient solution to prevent salt buildup. This should help keep the plants healthy and promote optimal growth. Pest Control A few leaves have slight holes due to snail damage, but otherwise, there are no significant pest problems. The plants are still kept in the greenhouse overnight due to the high snail population. I don’t want to serve the ladies to the snails on a silver platter. Bud Development The buds are swelling nicely, and the resin production is increasing. The plants are showing significant signs of maturity, with the aroma intensifying. The trichomes are developing well, and I’m pleased with the progress so far. Blue Dream: This strain has the largest buds so far, and the smell is the most intense. Banana Purple Punch: The buds are also looking good, but the aroma is weaker compared to Blue Dream. Gorilla Cookies: This plant has had a growth spurt and is showing beautiful tops with white hairs. Tangie: After the initial pre-flowering, Tangie has not formed many buds and is still in the full stretch phase. Low-Stress Training (LST) Update I am no longer tying the plants down. Instead, I am bending some branches in different directions to ensure all the shoots receive sufficient light. I have removed very few large leaves but am tucking the leaves out of the way. So Xmas is over and I managed a harvest on the most mature at 15% amber. I smoked half the plant already so the yield ain't great, However the quality is there! The buds are sooo sparkly! Smell of OG kush and cheese but with a hint of cleaning product lol. The others are catching up! Currently Trich watching the next most mature.
