Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . I'm not sure I'll go through all this effort of documentation here again, but please follow along on my instagram, stay in touch and chill out with me sometime @Fullmeltalchemist.00 All in all, I was running 1000w of quantum board across three tents and pulled just over 1100 grams, which was a big goal of mine. Hello all and welcome to the much anticipated beginning of vegetation for these five Epsilon F1 Autos from Royal Queen Seeds. Allow me to introduce Ally, Normani, Lauren, Dinah, and Camila. All five girls have pushed put their 2nd node (3 fingers) and node 3 is on the way out. I expect all five girls to take off from here, and so the next seven days are going to be big. I will start fertigation today. For comparison purposes the Day 1 here means Day 1 of veg. For Ally, Normani, and Lauren this is day 11 since breaking ground, for Dinah day 10, and for Camila it is day 9. For the rest of this grow I will increment days from here but it's really easy to work out days since breaking ground as it is a simple matter of day + 10, 9, or 8 respectively. Day 1: Fertigated 2l. Day 2: Right ok. Can you actually believe this response in 24h? The poor girls were STARVING. Wow look at the change in color! Wow look at the growth!! Ally is most advanced, Camila least. It is fascinating so see them develop! They are growing faster and faster now. So let us talk about the elephant in the room a little bit. Phenotypes. At the moment there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that this crop will be anything other than uniform. Nevertheless there are some clear differences in some of the girls. So let's have a look shall we: Ally (center), Normani (closest to the middle purple basil), and Lauren (opposite side to Normani): These three girls are not quite identical, but it is a pretty challenging game of spot the difference. Dinah: Okay so Dinah is coming in noticeably darker than her sisters, with a little more tendency to claw, and with quite a bit larger and more angular serrations. Her first leaves are also a different shape. Camila: Little Camila had a twin, but I killed her with some overzealous tweezing before I realised what I had. She came in with only one cotyledon, and she came in last. Her first leaves are quite different to the rest of Fifth Harmony. She is also showing slighty more narrow leaves. She is lastly also very slightly more pale than her sisters. Are these phenotype differences? I mean in terms of the environment, feeding, watering, substrate, temperature, light, airflow... well these girls are all in the same pot, so unless I am particularly haphazard in my mixing and fertigation (which I can assure you I am not) I do not think it likely that these ladies have significant enough environmental difference to account for these quite clear visual differences. I am absolutely fascinated to continue to witness this, and it has only now occurred to me what a great privilege it is to be able to grow the world first F1 cannabis hybrids, and what an astounding honor to be one of the very first hobby growers to do so! The fact that RQS made this happen by not only supplying the seeds and other merch and goodies, but also sending expedited international shipping so as to fit within my arbitrary timescales is almost unbelievable. When these guys (on their website) say that it is their belief and mission to forge the path to worldwide legalisation, they are not hollow corporate whispers, it is their core of being. Cannabis everywhere is truly blessed to have such a worthy and proactive ambassador. Bravo RQS! I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 3: Well look at this growth again!! These ladies have responded to feeding really well. Fertigated 3l. Day 4: Growth is accelerating fast, these ladies will be ready for their first training soon. I am starting to formulate an idea what to do. I am thinking of topping Ally and LST on the rest. Day 6: Fertigated 3l. Ladies growing fast now. Will soon be time to start training. However! The secondary nodes are developing strongly. Hmmm Day 7: Fertigated 3l. Defoliated the three fingered leaves from Ally and tucked the five fingered under other plants. End if week summary: Well when they said "hybrid vigour" they were not joking. Look at day 1 and day 7 side by side after approx 6 days into veg growth. Wow.

Hey guys! Another update! 😃 This week is going to be the last one that I feed the plants and after that I'm going to just flush them for just one week. I took photos during the middle of the week just to see how trichomes were developing and there are more ambar! I want the top colas to be about 50% ambar and 50% cloudy while the ones below 30% ambar and 70% cloudy and I think I'll be able to reach that with ease. Besides that this week was relaxing, no big issues! And I've been removing more fan leaves so when the right moment arrive it'll be easier to clean the plant! And that way I can get some extra development in lower colas. The smell is strong now compared to other weeks (it's been getting stronger every week!) 😲 PD: The question is still up! Okay. So she stopped packing on weight right after her first real weight gain. Bad salt build up within the soil, ph off from 6.2 to 7.2 run off. Going to add recharge or some compost tea on next grow to help with that. Also, I think I could have gotten away with giving less nutrients. She smells amazing. Smells like trash from a far but as soon as you touch her, her aroma opens up to the fruitiest scent I have ever smelled! Another odd thing which might have to do with genetics. Many of the buds are hanging off to the right side of the stem. Like they have grown to one side of the stem and look like they are about to fall off. Mayne this had something to do with her not getting much bigger than she has? See last few photos and video. About a week or two left. Last feed a few days ago. Water from here on out.

Ok now this is a canopy to be proud of! This looks incredible woot woot! Did a massssive and final defoil about 3 days ago and cleaned up anything that isnt going to be a smokable flower. Took some contortioning i dont care to admit but its all good 😂 So today I started using some koolbloom to start really plumping these flowers up. Also as expected, that twin stem cola is looking like its gonna be crazy big 😃 The whole tent looks very healthy and i'm hoping for a smooth sailing to harvest!!!

So here we go, our first grow under indoor conditions using a DWC (Deep Water Culture) 8xBucket system.But wait ...theres more!! We will now also be showing you guys a traditional South African Sun Outdoor Grow using a self made 3 Tyre flower pot which takes i access of about 75ltrs of Soil (19.8 gallons) during our peak season which starts in September 2021 and Lasts till January 2022. Did also try to Germinate Barneys Farm "Auto Tangerine Dream" but had all three seeds fail their germination period so we have had them replaced with Divine Seeds "Auto Amnesia" which we will be featuring in our next Grow.

*Increased ppm from 1050 to 1100. *growth is pretty big but not great. *cold temps are the problem at the moment. Seems to stay wet for to long.

Hello everyone :-) A lot has happened this week 🤗. It has developed very nicely and its roots have exploded properly 😍. It is also slowly becoming lighter, since it has obviously been slowly consuming its nutrients from the soil :-) That is why it was repotted today, mixing 2 g per liter. soil Green House Powder Feeding Bio Grow between the soil. Then everything was mixed and distributed well, and the plant used. I hope that's the little shortcoming is quickly picked up :-) When watering, 1.5 g of enhancer per liter was added :-) Unfortunately I noticed too late that I didn't take any pictures of the root ball while repotting 🤦‍♂️🏻. I look forward to seeing how it evolves this week. Above all, I am excited to see how she is doing with the Green House Powder Feeding BioGrow , as I have been used to mixing everything for each wash separately 😊. During the course of this week I will also spontaneously decide whether I will give her an LST, topping fimming, etc., since I have to see how I am in the vegi phase, because the Cup has a limited time 😁. Week 14 Day 92 (10/16) Checked her trichomes and she's just starting to show some amber. She may need watered tonight, probably will add in some Mammoth P and molasses too. Day 93 (10/17) I've been slacking on updates and pics, but there's just not too much to say or document. She's still doing her thing, really looking more frosty than the first partial harvest. Thinking I should have waited a bit longer for the first cut, but oh well, it still gets the job done. I have held off on watering as her pot is still pretty heavy. It was lighter this morning so maybe this afternoon I will water her. I'm keeping an eye on her trichomes as I want there to be more amber for the final harvest. Day 94 (10/18) Everything from the partial harvest has been dried and I finally weighed it all. Came out to around 48.5g (including the 4-5g we've been smoking on). There's still plenty more on her. Everything has been jarred up for a few days and I've got Boveda packs in the jars too. Day 98 (10/22) Checked the trichomes this morning and I think I might put her in the dark for 48 hours starting tomorrow night. She's turning into a fuggin 100 day auto. Day 99 (10/23) Well, I made the executive decision to prep her for harvest. When her lights went off last night, I unplugged it from the timer so she'll have her 48 hours of dark. I also added some ice cubes around her base. I've read about the dark helping and the ice simulating a frost, but I've never done this so we'll see. Shouldn't hurt right? So I'll be harvesting her Saturday night or Sunday. And hopefully popping another over the weekend 😃 Day 100 (10/24) Well she's been in the dark almost her 48 hours. I have family in town tonight, so she may have to wait until tomorrow to get cut. Or I might just stay up half the night and get her down tonight lol. We'll see. Day 101 (10/25) Technically week 15, but who's counting. Cut her down today. Got her cleaned up and into paper bags to dry. Will get a weight and post the harvest once she's dry. Getting another one ready to go 😉
