Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. - WEEK 8 - ----- Day 50 ----- Woo hoo. End is in sight and the plants are still PACKING the pounds on. Big Bertha is 11 inches long, 2 inches wide. The hidden massive Gertha is 8 inches in circumference in the middle in just bud alone and isn't even the largest part of this 8 inch long nug... Fed 1150ppm 13L 6.4pH 5-15+ days left. 2-4 days till I start looking into trichome finish period. Forgot to take a regular full shot and shots of tropicanna glookies. oh well. Later tonight if I remember. I stopped bud candy cause I'm using a lot more molasses and its literally a sugar in itself so why put in bud candy which is just sugars... seems redundant. ----- Day 51 ----- Easy day of watching. Some nice bud shots today. The whole basement smells of weed candy. Back right Tropicanna is pineapple gummy bear, front right is just gummy bear. Wedding Cake is like sweet weed, you get the regular smell of pot but instead of skunky its sweet but that Tropicanna is just alllll candy no weed smell at all. I did the first 60x shot today. 5% cloudy 95% clear on the Tropicanna. Long ways to go. I'll be doing the Wedding Cake later tonight, got side tracked. ----- Day 52 ----- Fed 1200ppm 6.4ph 12 Liters Tropicanna Glookies is going full blown purple. Should be covered in dark purple coloration within the week. Wedding Cake is just fat. Super fat large nugs. Easy day. Forgot to take trichome pics of Wedding Cake will do that later today probably. Well, the largest bud is 1 foot in circumference now... rofl ----- Day 53 ----- Easy day. Fed some water, they're getting thirsty again. I'm going to do a 13L feeding , then next day 5L water. So that's what I did today. I'll be dropping the Kool Bloom Powder & CaliMagic by day 56 and only feed 1/2 strength molasses only. Will pick the buds off as they finish, not gonna do 1 big chop unless it manages to turn out that way. Colors are going wild. Will check Wedding Cake & Tropicanna trichomes before lights out will update pics then. ----- Day 54 ----- 1300ppm 13L 6.4ph fed Here's some pics. Wedding Cake is nowhere near ready by the trichomes. Barely any cloudy, no amber. ----- Day 55 ----- Tropicanna really turning purple now starting to infect the leaves at top of canopy. Can't wait for what Day 63 holds for all these ladies. Not going to check trichomes till probably day 58 Easy day, last fert feed with chemical nutrients tomorrow, after that its just molasses. ----- Day 56 ----- Didnt even bother with ppm/pH. Molasses. roughly 30-50ml in 13-15 Liters. Smoked a tester of the Tropicana Glookies (Sativa) God daaaamn. Shits fire. Extremely strong. Very Cerebral and its not even at its peak yet... I've chosen Tuesday as Harvest day for both Tropicana Glookies plants (they're clones of each other) A single Wedding Cake testing nug is drying right now, I'll judge when it gets harvested based on the high, and if not sufficiently near my level i'll give it 2 days before drying another nug and trying again. I want heavy ass couch-lock. 6 days for Tropicana. Probably 8 for Wedding Cake. Will send samples off to Canvas Labs for testing like I've done in the past and will be making both edibles and bubble hash and will post those here as they happen. Once thats done I will see if I can restart veg mode in this grow, and if so I will keep this going until the plants die (and just make side diaries for each individual plant variety grow). Today is day 32 of bud for these ladies. They are are swelling up good and put on a lot of resin. I’m very excited for this harvest. That’s because these ladies each have there own person Tropic smell to them. The OG is kinda orange cream soda terps. The melato almost has a coconut terp profile to it. And the Trainwreck smells like some kind of wild berry. So I’m definitely glad I got clones form each of these so I can run them again next round. Except for the OG. I have them their last feeding in week 4 on around day 29. I just did a top dress of bio live and rose and flower by down to earth. Anyways thanks for checking out the garden. Been a good week I have lowered nutes as on some of the plants the tips have gone a bright yellow type colour wasn’t sure wether this was because of my lights or nutes either way I have lowered nutes for the minute and will see how that goes , went with another trim during the week as some flowers have grown far beyond The others main aim was to free up light for the lower plants and aim for there bud sight it’s seemed to have worked so far as they have grew a little other than that everything else has been quite manageable 🤞🏾 Obviously missed a day which was watering day due to other responsibilities but hey it happens on the brighter side The jungle is still slowly coming along nicely happy growing 🤑

Easy harvest single plant super dense and honestly it couldn't have gone smoother. I am debating removing the popcorn bud or revegging it... either way the main tops were the biggest buds I've harvested yet covering my entire palm. I will be growing this in the future I won't log the grow however. This pheno I believe is one of a kind and I likely won't be as pleased with a second run. The sungro#4 I grew in was excellent too and honestly I am seeing the relation between quality and the medium being used. I will be using this medium for a while. Until the final dry weight is In, Happy Growing and Happy Toking! -TRAGIC OUT- Update water curing was the best end result and will be the way I cure all my flower.

Started training the main stems towards the corners. Pulled the runt and actually wanted to pull the second runt, but the roots of the two left plants are tangled and I didn't want to damage the healthy plant. Started lst with pipe cleaners

Day 114 (f52) update: Kosher Dawg is doing pretty good! 😀 She showed nute burn problems a few days ago so I diluted the mix a little, otherwise everything is going well and the buds and small bud leaves seem to be swelling and full of resin 😋😀 ==> Now it is clear this will be a very low yielder, already the internode distance is rather long for an indica but also the buds are very small. -> Low yielding kush crosses often give very good quality flowers so I am hyped!!! 😁😁😛 >>> Guessing another 10-14 days till harvest 😍😁😛

I’m growing Purple Queen from Royal Queen Seeds, Citradelic Sunset & Zweet Inzanity from Ethos Genetics, and King Kong From Big Buddha Seeds. Germination happened within 24hrs on all but the Zweet Inzanity which took almost 48hrs and I planted the seeds straight into their pots. I’m using Redbud living soil with Cannaseur seed blend (Amazon find) which includes 13 different types of seeds for cover crops. Straw is being used as a top dressing/mulch. I’m growing under two Spectrum King 602GH LED lights. I have a 55gal reservoir with 2 adjustable drip emitters in each pot. I would not consider my living soil as perfect for planting at this point but I was eager to get started. I planted my seeds before fully establishing my cover crops. I have added red wigglers and nematodes. I breakdown some of this process in the video.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. the week went we'll they grow by the day. I fed them sillica , Alaska fertilizer and molasses. there not showing many hair yet one is a little. I topped one of the plants the larger one. the gentics are top notice .i think there vigger is amazing. lots of structure should yield well

Great week for Mephy...other than winter being on the doorstep. 😒 Keeping her to 4 main cobs, slow and steady till she's ready for some LST. I've been adding DO (dissolved oxygen) into the water in an attempt to keep the roots happy in this tight space. So far she's loving it. If you have an aquarium pump and some airstones you can add DO to your irrigation. Worth a try if you haven't. Anyway, hope everyone had a great tiny pot week! Day 49 - 2/11/23 Fat Banana is blooming nicely!! she's a nice pheno, looks like we got some purple buds!! Still watering with CalMag only, and she looks like she's fine with it! eagle eyed for deficiencies. might do a full nute feed midweek. Going along nicely!!! ------- Day 52 - 5/11/23 Gave her a full feed today, back to normal nute values. Buds are starting to swell, and the smell is something else!! Deep purple colours coming through, orange showing up, greens and yellows also!!

And today I start grow Do-si-dos Automatic Royal Queen Seeds.. As I know it is a very strong THC variety.And with good parents. 20 hours in glass of water. then Paper towel, until I will see the root.

Day 29 and starting off Week 4 awesome even with my big mistake and not knowing that on mainlining you top first time at third node but the second toppings you can do at first with enough growth but in waited till 3rd on both new mains.. o well you live and learn but hey she looks like shes doing fine atleast will have some nice buds Day 32 update: Now that I have the fungus gnats under control everything has been perfect.. used Foxfarm SledgeHammer to water her to flush all that extra leftover salts in the soil out from the grow nutes, because will be switching to my bloom nutes on next watering, and she seems to have liked it.

11/24: Both Black Jacks finally turned the corner and are looking like they'll produce for me.👍 The big Zkittlez just keeps on stretching and outpacing most of the other plants....looks like a supercropping is in her immediate future. Kinda sux, because she's got picture-perfect, textbook, conifer structure😑 11/25: Had to raise the lights today about 5 inches to accommodate the big Zkittlez and a Sucrose Overdose..couldn't bring myself to ugly her up yet..maybe everybody else will catch up (ya right) For now, I'm using platforms of various heights for the shorter plants, to keep the canopy level.
