Just getting going again after some mods to my grow box. I’ve replaced the main CFL bulb with an LED and it is much brighter. I also removed the second carbon filter to create more space in the box. The new setup allows for more even space and light distribution and overall more growing space. With the additional light I thought I would try out CO2 so I added an Exhale365 bag. Starting out with 3 plants, 2 Pineapple Express and 1 Pineapple Skunk. There was some type of burn on the first seedling but that was earlier on and it has grown a lot since I first noticed it. I planted the seeds days apart so a few are behind. Growbox summary: * grow space: 19”H x 17”W x 21”D * 4 small, 1 medium internal fans * 3 gallon hydro reservoir * 6 inch exhaust fan + 4 inch exhaust fan in sequence * 150W Mars Hydro TS-1000 (new) * 3 X 20W LED side lights (+1 new) * Exhale CO2 bag (new) Water temps are ranging from 68 up to 70. It’s a small space, but with light covering all sides I think I can get a decent yield. Last time 3.2 ounces were harvested from it. Hoping to hit 5 ounces this time by creating fewer, but larger colas. Day 6 update: * The pinex-1 is looking a little funky. It has weird leaf growth, some minor defects in color, super short compared to the others, and the first leafs are starting to canoe a little. * pinex-2 and pskunk are looking good and growing well, but the leaves aren’t very green. * decided to bump up nutrients a little by moving to week 2 on the schedule and diluting to 60%. That took the ppm up from 400(200 base) to 630(210 base). Hoping if they weren’t getting enough nutrients that this will fix it. * the new light might be a little to bright for these babies. Dimmed it to about 75% power.

It’s-a-growing... Not too stoked on how quick the top layer of soil is drying out with the hot weather. Definitely see a decrease in predator mite activity on the surface... hopefully they’re still busy down below. I added straw to help keep the upper layer from drying out... This decrease in beneficial bug activity could also be from switching to tap water... I did some rain water from my barrel to begin with, but got scared of pathogens because I know crows take lunch breaks on my roof and their scraps definitely means rodents coming in to clean up 😩 The tap water has no chloramide in it, so that’s a good thing. Hopefully my tiny air pump and stones bubbling a 5 gallon bucket for 24 hours gets rid of enough chlorine to keep the micro biological ecosytem in balance 🙏

Growing steady

Hello Growmies, Week 14 in the flowering stage has delivered a welcome burst of growth for our Epic Buzz, affirming the effectiveness of the PK 13/14 addition. The buds have responded with an enthusiastic swell, stretching out in a display of potential that indicates the timing for the flower stretch was spot on. Despite the joy of an aromatic tent, there's been a slight hiccup with the filtration system. The intensity of the scent has outpaced the capabilities of my new Secret Jardin Carbon Filter, which hasn't lived up to the longevity of previous ones. Thankfully, with a spare filter added to the exhaust, we've managed to neutralize the odorous evidence of our thriving plant. The physical support of the plant became a necessary focus as the back main colas, heavy with dense buds, started to tip the balance. Resourcefulness came into play with some ties to the ceiling, ensuring stability for continued upward growth without any risk of toppling. The latest pictures showcase a remarkable transition. The colas stand tall, heavily frosted with trichomes, while the buds have fattened to an impressive size, hinting at a satisfying harvest to come. The leaves, a few with the yellowing edges of hard work and past stress, don't detract from the overall vibrancy of the plant. These older leaves will naturally give way as the plant dedicates itself to the buds, a process we're now observing. Beneath the surface, the roots tell a story of health and eagerness, their robust structure pulling in the nutrients that fuel the flowers above. The buds themselves, each a potential powerhouse of flavor and effect, are a testament to the care and attention invested over these weeks. Moving forward, the structural reinforcement will hopefully allow the plant to focus all her energy on the final maturation of her buds. The expectation of harvesting these dense, resin-packed colas is building with each passing day. Buds are getting fat and full of resin, not much to say let’s wait 2 more weeks happy growing to all!!!

Perfect. Now when to harvest? Seeing about 20 percent amber in some buds. Others are still only cloudy. The beginning of week 8 starts in 4 days. But I transitioned to flowering lighting over the course of a week. So maybe tomorrow. maybe the next day too. As soon as I see more than 30 percent amber trichomes on main colas(all of them) I will harvest. Ripening buds are a true beauty. Damn these are a sight to behold. This is my second grow. I learned a lot. I love it. So smelly I just can't believe it. Tried to take a trichome pick. Still maybe 15 percent amber color starting to appear

Die Pflanze hat von Beginn an einen guten Start hingelegt und sieht richtig Vital und Munter aus 😉 Nach der vierten Wachstumswoche, geht die Pflanze in einen heftigen Wachstumsboost! Sie hat alle anderen Pflanzen überholt in der Höhe wie auch in der Breite. Ich habe die Seitentriebe etwas zur Seite gebogen, worauf sie sehr gut reagiert haben. Dadurch bekommen sie etwas mehr Licht ab. Ihr Aroma ist sehr grün und frisch, so ein wenig wenn frisch der Rasen gemäht würde, allerdings mit einer leichten typischen Cannanote. Things are moving forward. My ladies seem to be doing well. “Josefine” is slowing down a bit, but still looks healthy. I took a few more chopsticks to help against the wind. But I can remove that now.

Estas bebés já estavam ficando com manchas e bixarada devido ao cultivo anterior... Borrifei durante 3 dias seguidos, o oleo neem 1ml por litro, nelas e aos arredores. Passados esses 3 dias, houve melhorias mas a bixarada ainda andava por lá e então borrifei durante mais 3 dias com um produto natural com base em urtigas e agora sim estão melhorando e ganhando a cor e caminho desejado. Levaram nutrientes para ajudar na defesa e continuação do caminho. No 13º Dia de Veg /13-07-2024, coloquei fitas métricas para controlar o crescimento diário, refletores improvisados com tapa-sol de carros 😅 para refletir e ir controlando sujidades e possíveis bixinhos, também coloquei em cada vaso umas armadilhas de aranhas e seus conterrâneos 😂 Está arrumadinha, amanhã colocarei um extrator maior a ver se expulsa mais ar quente a ver se a temperatura baixa um pouco.

Week 11 - Day 1 : Pinched branches from subject 1 and 2. As seen in the videos uploaded. Week 11 - Day 2 : Changed water schedule to water-water-feed, watering my plants with 4 Liters per plant every 3th day. Pinched branches recovered successfully. Week 11 - Day 3 : Pinched lower branches of subject 1, take a good look and tell me what you think! Week 11 - Day 5 : Pinches branches of subject 1, take a good look and tell me what you think, had my first harvest of ladybugs in the garden and released them on my plants, noticed that I have very little spider mites on my plants. Posted week 1 to 9 on my diary. Week 11 - Day 6 : Woke up to subject 5 being damaged, What could have caused this? Too heavy branches? Maybe an animal that accidentally broke the branch and took off. Harvest was nice and buds are dense. Very few popcorns on lower branches. I'm pretty sure this a good genetic strain and i want to grow it again .

Nothing interesting to say... I just added some Humic Acid Plus and Growzyme to my More Roots from Green Buzz in my Terra Soil Mix with every watering. 🎼 The plants just woke up into this world, so to celebrate their birth and welcoming them as the princesses they tend to become, I decided to play some Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf & Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake on a Bluetooth speaker during each watering or simple courtesy visit I made. Yet notice that Rossini's Barber of Seville & Vivaldi's Four Seasons was used as a booster during the second part of the week.
