I ran into problems in the beginning but now I’m seeing my mistakes witch is a good thing because that means I’m learning… RDWC is definitely different then soil but I’m loving it. I also see now that I need to turn the center pot lids around so my plants aren’t going under the trellis support pole. Rookie mistakes.

There’s microscopic bugs crawling on my buds! Going to post a grow question about them. No more nutrients, she’s definitely getting close, so let’s use plain water and hope for the best in the next week or two.

Right then 7 weeks of flower complete. I'll dive right in to the juicy bits as this week has been predominantly about deciding weather to chop or keep one of my girls going. In the end I chose to do both! As the photos and videos show the plant wasn't recovering so I checked the trichomes and it was actually pretty ripe. A few Amber's on the upper buds. Lowers still undeveloped so I decided to take the biggest and leave the smallest for another week or while ever the plant is healthy. I estimate I've taken around 7oz once dry. Depending how they swell up I'm hoping for a further 5oz of solid bag worthy nugs. Looking nice and frosty, smell is that typical sweet haze with some sour diesel/fruit kick in there. You can see how the photos progress my hands getting covered in resin. Got to give my other 3 some love as they are getting healthier and fatter. I'm thinking another week on one of them and 2 on the others. I'll more than likely stagger the harvest like tonight if it proves worth while. I will update mid week.

Day 50: Everything is looking happy after the little trimming. Getting ready to head out of town in a few days. Ordered a small automatic waterer from Amazon to assist while I'm gone. Watering/feeding day. Each plant got 1 gallon of water with the following things: 5mL per gallon Alaska 5-1-1 30mL per gallon Alaska 0-10-10 (a little more than normal to give them a boost) 5mL per gallon GrowMore Seaweed Extract 15mL Blackstrap Molasses Scratched into the surface of each pot is a 1/2 cup of Happy Frog Fruit & Flower Day 52: Leaving town early on Day 53 for 5 days. To prepare for the time I'll be gone I got an automatic watering system from amazon. Since I only use a total of 4 gallons during watering and only need one watering done while I'm gone, a single bucket will do the trick. I set up the system, installed two watering stems per pot, and made a looped system. In the bucket of water, I added nothing but the water. I don't want to have to worry about stirring it or anything like that. I set the system up to water when lights come on during the 3rd day I'm gone, Day 55. After I had the system set up I watered/fed the plants. 🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 3 VEG Report 12/12 from seed | Vegetative phase ongoing General Overview Week 3 of vegetative growth ends with Skywalker OG performing exceptionally well. Both plants are growing in near-perfect sync, once again showing that environmental consistency is doing the heavy lifting here. Despite being grown in different containers (plastic pots vs Pro-Mix bags), there is no visible difference in growth rate, structure, or vigor. Rhythm, height, and development remain aligned — true twins in motion. Growth this week has been fast, confident, and clean. Growth & Structure • Stage: Vegetative • Flowering signs: None observed • Node count: ~6 nodes • Growth habit: Compact, fast, very controlled • Internodal spacing: Tight • Leaf development: Large fan leaves, dominant canopy At this stage, Skywalker OG is clearly prioritizing leaf mass and photosynthetic surface over branch elongation. Branches are present but still relatively short compared to leaf size — a classic sign of a plant building energy reserves before structural expansion. There are a few funky leaf expressions here and there — small personality traits rather than problems. Nothing concerning, nothing progressive, and nothing that requires correction. No training has been applied so far. ⸻ Container Comparison — Pot vs Pro-Mix Bag An important observation this week: There is no meaningful difference in growth between the plastic pot and the Pro-Mix bag. Day 20 - I’m using sense I bloom A&B 1,5ml/L

Everything bounced back to normal. These smoothies want a bit of nitrogen throughout veg. 90% of the time when I have an issue it’s because PH or PPM being too high. This wasn’t the case as I ran two tests on my medium and everything was fine. Once i fed them twice with some higher nitrogen levels and some kelp n algae they bounced back in a week. After the first feeding I could notice a nice green coming back into the leaves. I have not flushed once since then. I’ve been feeding a tea every two weeks instead to break up whatever’s left behind. I plan to do one more feed in a couple days and I’m gonna do a light flush with SLF and then continue feeding nutes and teas until she’s ready to be flushed towards harvest.

*Increased ppm from 1050 to 1100. *growth is pretty big but not great. *cold temps are the problem at the moment. Seems to stay wet for to long.

Day 29: Watered each plant with 0.75L with nuts 1485 ppm, 3150 us/cm, 3.1 EC Day 32: Watered each plant with 0.8L with nuts Day 35: Watered each plant with 0.8L with nuts 1616 ppm, 3438 us/cm, 3.4 EC

Well, there’s no ghost the VIVO sun pumps that come with the kits they just suck that’s OK. I replaced them with the upgraded version. I refilled the reservoirs

This was a lovely strain to grow out, never have I seen a more purple strain. She did not like the full strength N but once I pulled back to 75% she was happy again. Everything else was smooth sailing and she competed well for light and space with the others crammed in the tent. Harvested on day 77.
