Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. First 7 days of the Strawberry Gorilla from Fastbuds. She was germination in glass of water than move to cotton and in 2 days it had more than an inch of root so i moved to her home 12 liters pot with biobizz,coco peat and perlite for the vegitation she will have the Marshydro Ts 600 in 80 x80 grow tent.

What a beast! The main bud has really plumped up and looks absolutely gorgeous. I’ve trimmed off a few of the larger leaves. It smells delicious and looks very healthy.

unbelievable, the performance of her in the still mixed weather in germany is awesome. the buds are starting to smell and are getting thicker. i'm a bit afraid that if the weather continues like this, mould will form. fingerscrossed that it doesn't happen. i give her a mix of biobizz root, grow and bloom every two days. I have removed the LST. from time to time I cut off the large leaves.

The flowers grew a little smaller than expected due to my radiator breaking down. The temperature rose to 20°C max during the day and 13°C at night. Obviously this slowed down growth. Fortunately I had a plan B, but I was only able to put it in place once I returned from vacation :/ On the other hand, I actually noticed that as soon as they found the ideal temperature, the fattening resumed as if nothing had happened. This variety is definitely very resistant, it's amazing... Thank you Royal Queen Seeds!!! There you go, this is the home stretch. We are entering week 8 and I have done my last watering with nutrient. From now on, I will water them exclusively with clear water, controlling only the chlorine and Ph. The countdown is on. This is truly the last phase of maturation. Harvesting can now occur anytime between now and 10 days from now! Chuss guys, we'll talk again next week!

The plants grew well this week, as did all the clones. Any extra rooted clones have been planted outdoors as a further experiment. We moved all the clones into a Veg room. Even though the large room is not in flower and still also in veg, we had to separate the plants due to lack of space. Also setting up for mother, clones and SOG in the future. The plants were defoliated and training continued. There are 2 weeks of Veg left hoping to have some very large plants for flowering. Aiming for large flowers.

Weather was already cold, she has long flowering for our climate.

Hi, La sénescence se fait naturellement du fait d’une légère carence en N, j’ai quand même ajouté du Power Clean pour l’accélérer et améliorer encore plus le goût et l’odeur. Les couleurs violettes se propagent petit à petit vers le bas de la #2, et très légèrement sur la #1, comme des reflets. La puissance du panneau LED a été abaissé sur 55% La floraison est prévu pour 7-8 semaines et pourtant j’en suis à 10, sûrement du à la carence post stretch qui a ralentit la floraison et réduit le rendement ; J’ai observé les trichromes le 28/10, ils sont presque tous laiteux et les premiers ambrés arrivent doucement.. A la semaine prochaine 👋

This was my very first indoor grow in my cupboard with my 1 strain Do-Si-Wine and the other 1 Sunset-Sherbet. Growing the Do-Si-Wine was very fun and this strain especially is also quite tricky to LST because during the Vegetation the plant grows long and slinky, because of this I experienced a snap on week 6. (Here are my notes of the 6th Week) 30th September 2020 ( 11cm in height ) The Do-Si-Wine is growing very well, a very moderate growth as it says in it’s subscription, but none the less still a very beautiful grow so far. The bottom 4 colas are all stress trained to the edges of the pot to ensure each branch from each cola gets to grow outwards in its own space and to get more light. The stem is about 0.7cm thick which is not that thick compared to the SunSet Sherbet. While writing this I noticed my she has SNAPPED from her previous stress straining session, I was checking out the stem thickness and noticed the main stem had snapped. But luckily this is not the first this happened and I know how to fix this. To fix this all you need is some tape, now see if the plant didn’t completely break off you can still tape the plant back together and the plant should heal itself within a few days, although I need to wait a bit before I stress train this one again. She started making pistols🤗, but I’m not sure if this is because of the snap or if it’s getting ready to start blooming. All the side branches from the bottom 4 colas are all nice and long growing at a nice rate. The leaves are nice and strong reaching ( 11cm in length ) My experience from growing Do-Si-Wine 🎶🍷 from Cape Ape Seed seed bank is very good so far, on the site it says moderate growth difficulty and it is quite accurate compared to the Sunset Sherbet’s easy growth difficulty, it’s quite fun working with a moderate growth because the plant needs more tending to, for instance the side branches are thinnish and need to be stress trained often to reach the end of the pot, the plant is also very stiff because she snapped without me realising and had to tend to the break a day later. Also while growing this plant I noticed that the plant’s leaves are very dark green and the bud it’s going carry is going to be white so I can’t wait to see how she makes her buds. (Notes Done) So when I harvested on the 29 December 2020 (Week 19) I have definitely learned a lot about this strain, this strain is extremely exotic and is impossible to find and growing this strain was such a blessing as well being able to smoke top shelf exotic weed straight out of your Cupboard

Humidity has been the biggest struggle. The dehumidifier I bought was complete useless only moved RH 1% down. Tried a couple different things to try to combat the excessively high RH (75+%) openings up extra flaps in the tent didn’t work so I decided to turn on my carbon Filter fan. Which seems to be maintaining it at 55%, however prior to me being able to start my fan I had to clear the water out of my exhaust ducting. It had accumulated at least 1/4 gal of water, this to me was a clear indication of my humidity problem. Another thing I want to rant about is PH pens I haven’t been able to find a pen worth a damn and yes I have been properly handling them. My first one died on a watering day and I didn’t have a back up so I ordered two more off amazon which don’t seem to be working well either. I ended up doing it the old school way with the drops and shaking it in a tester. Oh I also gave nutrition a break past two feedings I had a slight burn on the tips will probably do one more plain water then put her back on nutrition. Went back to nutrition early then I intend due to a slight nitrogen deficiency I don’t thing it’s gonna be a big issue just gonna continue to monitor.

D71/F24 - 11.29 - There's not much to say about these two. They didn't even hiccup after the defoliation, though it does appear their stretch has just about finished. They both have fat greasy prebuds right now, and the Passion Berry has particularly long pistils. A pleasure to watch em grow! <3 D76/F29 - 12.4 - Just like holy fuck these things are monsters. 🙏🙌 Praise be to Swerve 👑, I'm astonished at the pace and vigor of these two plants

Anyway, this plant, it's starting to catcher groove.But as you can see, she is a triploid i believe based down the three leaves coming out the top.. If anyone has any experience with this and any tips would be much appreciated, i think it's cool, but I don't want it to be a problem that affects my other plants.. I don't think it will be.. Hatte ein paar Probleme mit Trauermücken. Habe spezielle Würmer (NS-Nematoden) meiner Erde zugefügt um die Larfen zu bekämpfen. Abwarten ist angesagt.

First week of life watering with pH 6.0 water. waiting for the cotyledons to begin to indicate that they are running out of nutritional reserves to start fertigation . Which will be with the plantProd MJ line. 100% mineral high frequency fertigation.

Week 6, Day44, Day14(end of week-2 bloom) and girls are thru with initial stretch. Watered 1-1/2gal/ea. PH6.4, 4ml/gal Cal/Mag. Day47 made worm tea; 3tbsp Molasses, 2cup Worm castings, 1/2cup Coffee chaff, 3bags Green Tea, 4ml/gal Cal/Mag, 10ml/gal Seaweed/Fish extract, 0.5ml/gal Orca. Aerated for 24hrs. Day48, Day18bloom watered 1-1/2gal/ea worm tea. Made foliage spray with 1/4 worm tea, 2tsp Epson salt. in spray bottle (will use this 2-3times a day to end). Day49 LST & defoliate.
