GENERAL COMMENT. So the RQS STRESS KILLER AUTO is down. Now we have the NL to manoeuvre and try to keep her alive for the final flush. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTO COMMENT. Many but slim colas emerged, showing extreme spotting and deficiencies, but gained weight since last week and started turning purple, first time that happens. So now the final flush started and hope, afraid taste could be off, because of the problems i ran in with her, probably a good strain to considere light feeding, the smell is very gentle, a good strain to do stealth. 10-14 day to go! Yield could be amazing but will be common because of the locks, nothing out of the curve in my opinion, something to retry and correct to deal with this strain. Not turned on or off by her just feeling neutral and glad she made it. Trichomes wise she is just ready, mostly cloudy, she will finish with some amber will do a nice sleeping aid. Trim job will be a pain on this one because i will clean all the small affected spotted leaves.

With the switch of 18 hours of light, Aimee is definitely growing well. She is looking a bit skinny but I won't get myself into paranoia and just give her time. I think this will be the last time I LST her as I'm satisfied with the flat canopy. Now it's just about feeding her and enjoy watching her grow (:

Things are goin by smoothly started to give them some calimagic in low doses so they can get use to it. The upper 4 more so towards the left I believe are white Runtz because they all have similarities, and the bottom three in a triangle are all mac and jacks because again they all have similarities, the last two smaller ones I believe may be gelato but I still don’t know. Goin to start giving them low dose feeds and gradually increase it. 9/22/2024 Added 80W LED lights below the canopy. Tilted the other 200W fixture to point into the canopy. Relocated circulation fans to keep air moving through the bush! Great flower development is continuing. The stretch is almost complete, but it is still stretching. Super cropping may be right around the corner. With one bucket removed from the system, the new system volume is right around 7-8 gallons. 9/23/2024 Forced to do a water change after a massive spike in PPM up to 2400. Cycled the system with about 5 gallons of pH water and pumped off about 4 gallons. Replaced 3 gallons containing appropriate nutrient concentration to get PPM back to 800 -900 range. Increased lights to 85%. Super cropped some of the lanky main stems that were growing right at the lights. Light directly over the plant is pretty much maxed out on height at this point. Looking to increase intensity by the end of this week to 90% and then to 100% by the end of week 5. Continuing to defoliate larger fan leaves a few per day. 9/24/2024 Plant is looking incredibly healthy even after the water issues. Some trichomes starting to develop on sugar leaves and flowers. There are tons of flower sights, I am excited to see how they continue to develop!!! 9/25/2024 Moved the light up to its last hanging position. There are only a few more inches of adjustment left. Trying to avoid late supercropping if I can. 9/26/2024 Pruning large fan leaves and fan leaf overgrowth. Looking to leave a lot of the smaller leaves for sugar trim collection if possible. Humidity is not an issue yet, but working to maintain 50-60% is getting close to maxing out my setup. Continuing with light defoliation will hopefully help in managing humidity. 9/27/2024 Have been adding pH-adjusted water as well as reduced nutrient concentration to keep PPM 800-900. Prioritizing bloom nutrients and keeping small amounts of micro and grow in the mix, diamond nectar at around 4mL/gallon.

The leaves on my plants are starting to fold up like a taco, some yellowing.. Not too sure what is going on. My friend suggested that it was a calcium or magnesium deficiency and it matches the description online but I usually give 3 or 4 ml per gallon damn near every time i water, is that enough or too much even? They are 5 weeks from seed today and all 3 are flowing very different and at a different pace..

Runoff ph is a bit high this time. Don’t know why. Around 6.8. Average ph going in is 6.0. Also the big fan leaves on ice cream cakes are kind of strange shaped. Will see how they are going to look later.

5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! It's vegi week 4, and the two lemon ladies are doing splendidly. If they continue to grow like this, they should be ready to switch to the flowering stage by the end of week five.

Good morning, today is day 22 flower ! Nothing much to be reported as everything is on cruise control and there’s basically nothing for me to do anymore but water ! The permafrost buds are getting frosty, stacking amazingly and chucking up while the jungle cookies smell very strong but aren’t stacking as tightly! I’m super happy with how they look! Just continuing to water a gallon every couple days rotating fish shit and silica as usual! Nothing else to report and I’ll see you all next week

26.1.25: I have had a mistake 😕 i spilt some Fish Mix as I was experimenting with a syphon from some aquarium tubing I have. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the syphon out! Ugh 😣 However, it is fish emulsion and very thick consistency. Therefore, I was able to scrape it up with 2 of my business cards up off the counter. So added this extra into the next 2 ltr solution I mixed. All plants were watered with at least 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3. Containing the following nutrients;- ♡ 3ml Seachem Seaweed ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 3ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag ♡ .25g Ecothrive Biosys. ♡ 2.5g of Bicarbonate of Soda as PH UP. Unfortunately I have broken my PH pen too. Accidentally submerged it under water, then the readings went crazy. I'm leaving it to dry by standing it up but I'm most likely going to need a new one, which is extremely annoying 😑 I'm going start implementing the Scrog net probably some point next week if I let the plants that are in flower to just grow up now, as I do believe that I stunted Watermelon 🍉 by using too strenuous LST. Hopefully the plants still are able to grow upwards at this stage during flower for all the Purple Punch P1, P2 and P3. We will soon see! 28.1.25: My PH pen has packed up 😣 I've got to wait to get another. It's super annoying 😑 so I'm just judging by memory how to regulate it. Unfortunately, that's my only choice! I'm also out of the dechlorinator 😕 things are not going very well this week so far 😅 I guess we will have to make do, until I can get replenished. 29.1.25: I removed all the plants, hoovered, and disinfected the tent. There were several accidents when watering, causing some debris and splashes. I decided to just go ahead and get a few other things done. It's crazy how quickly things can become neglected! 😣 So I defoliated moderately on all plants except Gorilla Cookies seedling. I have absolutely dropped the ball on my lighting situation! My light was much further away than I thought! I turned it up to 100% and dropped it down to just under 2 feet away. After I reset the tent, I set up my scrog net. I removed 80% of all LST pegs. I am planning on letting the scrog net take over the training from here. I really want to minimise the risk of mould, so I decided to start using my dehumidifier. It has raised up to 73% RH this week, so it's necessary. Hopefully, I will be able to get my dechlorinator and PH pen soon! That's kind of essential to me. It's been a little bit of a stressful day in the garden, to be honest 😅 30.1.25: So I am expecting the arrival of my new PH pen today, as well as my new bottle of Ecothrive neutralise. It is supposed to measure the TDS and EC in addition to the standard TEMP and PH, which I had previously. Obviously, time will tell if it's any good or not. I realise, much too late now, that my lighting is very insufficient for this many plants. I need double the watts at least, and coverage is very poor. I remembered I had an old LED floor lamp, which was in a corner being unused. I decided to take the stand off, and Zip tied the pole onto the tent pole at the back left corner. I have no idea what the wattage is, and it's quite pathetic 😅 but I mean, I might as well use it, being as I definitely cannot afford more lights! 😣 Next grow, I will probably only grow 2 plants, max 4, and just use larger 7-10 Gallon pots. Being as I ran out of dechlorinator, I only watered some plants properly because I only had enough to make 6 litres. When my pen arrives, I will get everything properly watered. 31.1.25: The leaves of several plants are showing signs of iron deficiency. This is likely due to my PH pen packing up earlier. I now have a new pen. Due to this, I decided to use my Seachem Prime, which I use for my aquariums. As I wanted to get them watered properly, and my Ecothrive Neutralise hasn't arrived yet. I watered each plant with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. I added .25g Ecothrive Biosys to the water. May give them a breather on the nutes and just use the Cal-Mag and Biosys. Being as I've just topped dressed with rich fertilisers, I'm sure that will be OK for the next several waterings. Bubble Kush

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds.
